Nine Revolutions Star Transformation-Chapter 716 - 736: Fierce Battle with the Viper (Part 2)
"Who is your wife? How can you be so shameless? Even without your help, I could have killed him myself." Kong Feifei snapped, irritated by Chu Linfeng’s words.
"Hehe, I know you’re amazing. How else could you become my wife, Lin Feng’s wife? You should take a break. Looking at your current state, it’s obvious you’ve overexerted yourself. Stop trying to be strong. If anything happens to you, I’ll be upset." Chu Linfeng continued, completely ignoring Kong Feifei’s almost berserk expression.
Kong Feifei tried to say something, but Chu Linfeng suddenly grabbed her, and in a flash, they were several hundred meters away. "Let go of me, you bastard! How dare you take advantage of me!"
Held by Chu Linfeng, Kong Feifei’s heart pounded with mixed emotions—joy and anger—complex feelings that brought a blush to her pale face.
As Chu Linfeng held her, the scent of a young girl wafted over him, and his wrist rested comfortably on something firm and large. He wished he could hold her like this forever, but it was impossible as there was still that viper to deal with.
"Watch how your husband takes down that creature!" Chu Linfeng said, letting go of Kong Feifei and instantly appearing above the viper.
Watching Chu Linfeng’s back, Kong Feifei felt a strange sensation. Why didn’t she get angry at him immediately? It seemed like she was secretly hoping for something. This feeling was subtle and one she’d never experienced. What was going on?
Could she be falling for him? No way. He’s just a shameless rogue. How could she, a proud princess of the Nether Race, fall for a lowly member of the Human Race so easily? Besides, he had taken liberties with her multiple times; her body had been seen, her first kiss stolen, and now she had been hugged by him. How could she face anyone afterward? If he wasn’t a man with a Pure Yang Body, she would have killed him. But if he was, she would have to marry him. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Kong Feifei’s mind was in disarray, of which Chu Linfeng was naturally oblivious. He was communicating with the Sword Spirit, knowing that to slay the viper, he must find its weakness, something the Sword Spirit could help with.
"Sister Yue’Er, where is this creature’s weak point? Have you discovered it?" Chu Linfeng urgently asked.
"I knew you’d ask me. How come you need my help to woo your girls? I really can’t believe you!" Sword Spirit remarked.
"Didn’t you say her Nether Yin Body can greatly enhance my strength? That way, I can restore your body sooner, and we’ll be together then. Don’t you want that?" Chu Linfeng asked.
"What can I say? You have so many women, but how many can accompany you to the Immortal Realm? So, I’m not worried. Since this viper is a snake, it must have a snake’s weakness. The seven-inch point is its most vulnerable spot, and a Thunder Attack is deadly. You handle it!" Sword Spirit replied, rather exasperated.
"Aim for the snake’s seven-inch spot? Not bad. That must be its weak point, but given its size, the seven inches should be called seven meters! I know what to do." Chu Linfeng smiled.
At the moment, the viper was writhing in pain from Chu Linfeng’s Soul Slash, but after some recovery time, it was in much better shape. Its eyes, as big as lanterns, stared straight at Chu Linfeng, eager to swallow this wretched human whole.
Chu Linfeng focused his Divine Sense on the area around the viper’s seven-inch spot, knowing there must be a particularly weak spot there. Attacking that spot would severely wound or even kill it, as the Tyrannosaurus had been slain this way; that’s why he provoked it to revert to its original form.
After inspecting for a while, he noticed that two meters below the viper’s neck, there were several scale armors of a different color. The rest were deep black, but those few were slightly dark red, barely noticeable without close inspection.
Chu Linfeng realized that must be the viper’s weakest point. He immediately activated his Chaotic Dragon Power, channeling all of it into his right arm.
Kong Feifei was currently recovering from her injuries. Unleashing that big move almost depleted her Nether Power. Only now did she realize how powerful the viper was. Despite both being Ninth Layer of Saint Martial Realm, the creature was a hybrid of Nether Beast and Magical Beast, with much stronger Defense Power and Attack Power compared to humans. They couldn’t be compared.
Now, her only hope lay with the young man before her. She couldn’t understand how someone who hadn’t even broken through the Saint Martial Realm could possess such strength, with Heaven-Defying Defense Power, Recovery Power, and speed. Such people were truly rare.
At this moment, the viper raised its head and stood upright, with only its tail on the ground, spewing a black mist toward Chu Linfeng. This mist was undoubtedly a deadly poison, as snakes are generally poisonous, and this viper was no exception.
"Watch out, thief!" Kong Feifei shouted from afar, unable to explain why she warned Chu Linfeng.
Chu Linfeng rapidly descended to dodge the black mist and glanced at where Kong Feifei stood, saying, "Wife, I knew you’d worry about me. Don’t worry. This little eel’s poison isn’t something I’m concerned with!"
"Can’t you stop showing off?" Kong Feifei mumbled angrily, frustrated at him still acting all big when he could so easily get himself killed.
Chu Linfeng’s arm had begun to swell painfully. He knew it was time to use his Qilin Arm, but he’d have to wait until he could maneuver around to the viper’s seven-inch point. So, he kept using Instant Teleportation to circle the viper.
Chu Linfeng’s body created a blur around the viper, making it hard for even Kong Feifei to pinpoint his exact location. His aim was to confuse the viper with his speed and strike when the opportunity presented itself.
Realizing Chu Linfeng was up to something unusual, the viper suddenly leapt into the air. But just as it did, Chu Linfeng’s Cyan Frost Sword unleashed a forceful Celestial Slash, the last strike of its kind he could muster.
The Five Elements and Thunder Element fused entirely into the Martial Skill, and the energy amplification from the Qilin Arm made this attack terrifying. After launching this strike, Chu Linfeng felt a wave of dizziness, as if he were about to collapse.
"Bang!" With a loud bang, a huge wound appeared at the viper’s seven-inch point, sending countless scales flying. The entire seven-inch area became a blur, and the two-meter-thick body was nearly severed in two by this strike.
