NTR GACHA-Chapter 217: This Place Is Beautiful
Chapter 217: This Place Is Beautiful
Leo appeared on the road alongside a tired Astra, who stretched while yawning. ’’Why did you drag me along? I told you after all.’’
Without answering, he slapped the Demon Queens ass causing her to yelp and warned with a growl. ’’I wanted to spend time with you, Ast.’’
The white-haired beauty giggled before nodding with a smile. Once that was established, Leo sent out a wave of mana only to find nothing. This confused Leo, prompting him to question the woman. ’’What has been happening?’’
Astra thought for a second and replied. ’’The guards say they’re being ambushed along the roads while others have been attacked just outside the fortress. We believe it’s the Forest People who are doing it.’’
’’What are they?’’ he asked.
The Demon Queen gave a casual shrug before explaining, ’’An old experiment from my father’s court mage. He twisted humans into monstrous forms to wield against our foes, but they grew too feral, broke free, and fled into the forests. They’ve entrenched themselves there, and even we can’t flush them out.’’
When Leo heard this, he chuckled and summoned his Demonic Army who appeared all around him. Moments later, he ordered the horde. ’’Track down these Forest People and kill them all! Bring me their corpses!’’
As those words left his lips, the knights, devils, and other creatures rushed toward the nearby forest as a Demonic Dragon crashed down next to them. It lowered its body allowing him and Astra to climb on its back.
The white-haired beauty was amazed and commented. ’’Well, maybe now we can rid the empire of them. All they would do is cause trouble anyway as we grow larger and more advanced.’’
’’That’s right, Ast,’’ he replied with a grin.
Moments later, the dragon took to the skies, its massive wings beating the air. Below, Raegar’s Demonic Knights collided with grotesque humanoids, creatures with elongated claws and ghastly, lifeless faces.
Their soulless black eyes seemed to pierce the very soul, radiating an eerie menace. The Demonic Army, imposing figures clad in jagged black armor, their weapons aglow with his mana, stood locked in brutal combat with the mutated humans.
The clash reverberated through the air, a symphony of shrieks, steel, and tearing flesh, but the tide was unmistakably turning. The creatures with elongated claws and lifeless faces were no match for the infernal might before them.
Leo’s gaze hardened as a Demonic Knight drove its blazing spear through a mutant’s chest, pinning it to the ground as it writhed briefly before going limp. Another knight swung a massive, flame-wreathed axe, cleaving two of the creatures.
Astra’s grip tightened on her staff, her breath steadying as she murmured. ’’They’re the ones getting butchered.’’
A mutant lunged at a knight, only to be seized by its throat and hurled into a cluster of its kin, the group collapsing under the impact. The mutants’ eerie black eyes, devoid of soul or reason, flickered with desperation as the Demonic Army pressed forward.
They were relentless and unstoppable, leaving a trail of broken, mangled bodies in their wake. Leo’s lips curved into a faint, grim smile. ’’Whatever they were, they didn’t stand a chance against my forces.’’
The mutant’s numbers dwindled rapidly, their wild thrashing no match for the disciplined savagery of the demonic knights and devils, who carved through them like a scythe through brittle stalks.
Astra’s jaw dropped open as she saw this scene, prompting Leo to laugh. She shook her head and questioned. ’’This army is ridiculous, there’s all kinds of beings within it, and the mutants are getting slaughtered.’’ fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
’’Yes, you’re right, but that’s thanks to Dark for giving me the chance to gain such a power,’’ he replied with a grin.
’’I’m glad,’’ she replied, her warm smile lighting up her face. ’’Once you vanquish the final two gods, we can finally live in peace. Oh, and the demons have begun constructing our palace off the elven coast.’’
When Leo heard this, his eyes widened in surprise, causing Astra to comment. ’’Oh yes. The generals came to me and asked for permission. Which I granted because having a place to rest is always good.’’
’’I agree, plus it will be at the heart of our new empire,’’ he replied with a chuckle. ’’But it’s good the generals are thinking about me.’’
Following that, Leo ordered the dragon to fly toward the construction site while Astra guided them there. This allowed him to admire his new land he conquered in such a quick time which shocked him.
Leo leaned forward, the wind whipping through his hair as the dragon soared over the sprawling landscape below. Its powerful wings beat rhythmically, carrying them toward the palace construction site.
Beneath them, a lush green unfolded, rolling hills blanketed in emerald grasses, dense forests of ancient trees stretching toward the horizon, and shimmering rivers snaking through the valleys like veins of silver.
’This place is beautiful,’ he thought with a glow in his red eyes.
The sun hung high, casting golden light across the vibrant expanse, illuminating patches of wildflowers that swayed gently in the breeze. Far in the distance, the elven coast emerged, where the verdant land met the restless sea.
Leo’s sharp eyes caught the faint outline of scaffolding rising against the shoreline, the skeletal beginnings of the palace, a monument to their hard-won future. He inhaled deeply, the crisp air tinged with the scent of pine and salt.
The sight stirred something in him, pride, perhaps, or the quiet promise of peace. For a moment, the weight of battles past and gods yet to face melted away, leaving only the endless green and the steady rhythm of flight.
’’Flying is so peaceful,’’ Astra mumbled while leaning into him with a smile. ’’I could do this even more.’’
Leo didn’t reply straight away but started playing with her soft white hair and spoke. ’’We will, sometime I can’t be bothered with flying myself as I have the dragon now and they are fast.’’
Following that, the Demon Queen nodded before they entered the old elven empire where people were going about their busy. He could feel the Demonic Knights butchering the remaining Forest People back in the forest he was just at.
After traveling for half an hour, they arrive at a massive island where a small land bridge connects it with the mainland. Leo noticed the builders were already working on the road, which interested him.
The Demon, Elves, and Demi-Humans were busy at work as the dragon landed with a thud that shook the ground. He slipped off its back while holding a beaming Astra as he looked at the tree and boulder covered island.
’’Why have we come here, handsome?’’ the white-haired woman questioned.
Leo glanced at her before answering. ’’To check on things and help out where we can.’’
’’For example, I could help clear the land and flatten it so they can start building straight away without the need for all that,’’ he revealed.
Astra’s smile bloomed at the news as she turned and strode toward the commander. Meanwhile, he set to work with relentless focus, purging the island of any obstacle that might hinder the palace’s rise.
The island trembled under his presence as he strode forward, his boots sinking into the damp earth. The workers paused mid-task, their tools slackening in their grip as an unnatural stillness gripped the air.
Ahead loomed a tangled mass of gnarled trees, jagged rocks, and creeping vines, a stubborn blight choking the land where the palace would stand. Leo raised a hand, his fingers curling as if grasping something unseen.
A low hum pulsed through the ground, and then, with a sharp gesture, he unleashed his power. The air crackled as a wave of raw force surged outward. Ancient trees splintered with deafening cracks, their roots ripped from the soil in a shower of dirt.
Boulders shattered into dust, scattering like ash on the wind, and the thick vines withered to brittle husks before crumbling away. In moments, the chaotic sprawl was gone, replaced by a smooth, cleared expanse, perfectly leveled, as if sculpted by divine hands.
The workers staggered back, jaws slack, their eyes wide with awe and a flicker of fear. A burly foreman dropped his hammer, muttering a curse under his breath, while a young laborer clutched her chest, whispering, ’’Gods above...’’
Leo lowered his hand, exhaling softly, and turned to survey the newly barren site. The wind carried away the last traces of debris, leaving only silence and the stunned gazes of those who’d witnessed the island bow to his will.
Astra sauntered over with a playful giggle, her eyes sparkling as she spoke. ’’Handsome, you’ve gone and terrified the workers, though I must say, you cleared this place brilliantly. You’ve just shaved weeks off their labor.’’
’’That was the idea, Ast,’’ Leo replied with a smirk. ’’Now they can start on the foundation. Just make sure they carve out a vault beneath it; some treasure deserves a proper hiding spot.’’
