The vampires all looked at Adrian and immediately thought that they were a bit too reserved. Vampires always had a trait for taking things slow due to their ages and it was in full show right now. Solstice had to cough to make sure that the elders and even the duchess no longer makes a fool of themselves.

"No preparations needed, my cute brother. Only the three of us would be entering the kingdom." Solstice stated.

"Will they not detect you, sister? The duchess did say that the vampire hunters can detect vampires." Adrian stated.

"That will not be a problem for someone like Solstice. The detection of Vampire Hunters will not work on her blood because she is a pure blood of the Edelblud family. The forbidden magic we used made sure to exclude the bloodlines of our families in the detection. Another safety measure to make sure that we will not get hunted down should a psychopathic vampire hunter suddenly gets born." Duchess Leticia stated.

"I see. Very handy and cautious for vampires. I guess your brain cells did not regress as much back in the day." Adrian stated as a backhanded compliment which made Lycan chuckle, and the elders blush a little because they really have regressed.

"Please keep the teasing to the minimum, Mediator of Death. Even if you are proclaimed by the God Abaddon himself, any transgressions to my family will be met with equal measures." Duchess Leticia stated as her red eyes glowed fiercely as warning to Adrian to not push it too far.

"Sorry about that. I just recited the words my sister used to rant when nothing goes her way in terms of this family. Still, I am honestly glad that my sister found a good family to be with. If there were any problems, then I might have started to destroy everything in sight just to appease my anger." Adrian stated as he also released his own aura which actually made the duchess flinch, and the elders shrink down a little.

"Settle down, little brother. I will talk to him later about his attitude. Let us get to the matter at hand because defeating the remaining two Crazed Blood Queens is the most important thing. We will proceed with investigating the Argento Kingdom to check signs for the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory. If she is really there, then we will send a signal to make sure that all of you surrounds the kingdom. I expect that there will be reinforcements, and they will be appropriately rewarded as well." Solstice stated.

"We vow to serve under your cause, princess." The elders stated as they held their hands to their chest which meant that this vow would be everlasting and should be completed without any questions.

"Let us go to the Argento Kingdom then." Adrian stated as he snapped his fingers to create a portal.

Inside the depths of a forgotten sewer system in the Argento Kingdom, the vampires that are being hunted down by their own kind could be seen lurking in the shadows. They did not dare to target any normal citizen in the middle or upper city but made use of the slums. The blood of humans that are not happy did not taste great, but they needed sustenance.

One such vampire could be seen having a dip in a bathtub full of red liquid. She relished the fact that she could still do this bathing ritual that she created herself. She was none other than the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory. Elizabeth Bathory is her full name, and she was known as a ruthless tyrant that took a bath with the blood of maidens to stay young and beautiful.

She believed that bathing in the blood of fair maidens rejuvenates her skin and body to its prime age. This was not true though as vampires do not age naturally past the age of twenty-five or in some cases age eighteen. They would always maintain this youthful glow just by drinking blood regularly, but the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory thought otherwise.

She was already beautiful, but she was not right in the head when she was rejected by a man she liked once. The man that she liked wanted a woman that just reached adulthood, but she looked like a mature woman that is twenty-five years old. Instead of getting over it and punishing the man, the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory killed fair maidens and bathe in their blood believing that a forbidden spell will revert her body to that of a maiden. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

"Great Mistress, I apologize but I need to report something." One of the vampires under the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory stated as she entered the room. The vampire looked like a disfigured woman which has her face scratched by a wolf claw or something.

"What is it, slave?" The Crazed Blood Queen Bathory stated.

"This is about the supply of blood for your cleansing baths. I am afraid that we can no longer get any maidens from the slums as the guards have strengthened their patrols. Even the men from the slums have started their own vigilante corps. They will find out that we are the ones snatching the maidens and it could lead to us being discovered by the vampire hunters." The vampire slave stated but she suddenly screamed in pain as her left arm was cleanly sliced off.

"Argghh!" The vampire slave screamed but she immediately stifled it and attached her severed arm back to her body.

"Do not make me repeat myself, slave. I only need two more cleansing baths, and I shall return to full power. No human or vampire hunter can harm me when I am at my full power. Also, those vampire hunters above will not be able to take time hunting you as they are currently mourning for their loses. Why did you think I chose this place despite it being a kingdom ran by a family of vampire hunters?" The Crazed Blood Queen Bathory stated.
