Online Game: I Started with Max Charisma and Caught the Goddess's Eye-Chapter 329: Everything in Order! A Strange Dream! News of Leipoder!
The moment the words left his mouth, his fist clenched tightly. Fear flashed in the eyes of Northwood James, Southwind James, and Celephais, but before they could speak—
The blood-red light erupted!
"Spare them!" Almost simultaneously, the voice of Drumph sounded from behind everyone.
But it was already too late.
Bang! Bang! Bang! A series of explosive sounds rang in everyone’s ears, making the surrounding soldiers’ bodies tremble. The splattering blood landed on Luca’s face, and he calmly wiped it away, his expression remaining unchanged.
Drumph, who had arrived with haste upon receiving the news, stood wide-eyed, unsure of what to say. The spot where Celephais and the others had been was now only a pool of blood.
Not a single member of the James Family that came this time had been left alive.
"Sigh, you’re too impulsive." Drumph walked to the spot where Northwood James had been standing earlier, sighing deeply with helplessness.
He kicked the bloodstains on the ground and said, "Northwood James was the previous head of the James Family, Southwind James is the current head, and Celephais is the heir of the younger generation.
Now you’ve gone and killed all three of them, every last one of them. Once this news reaches the Imperial Capital, there’s no way the James Family will let this slide."
Drumph was at a loss for words. How could this kid be so hot-headed? Even if Luca had beaten up the three members of the James Family, he would have been able to smooth things over. But this kid, without any hesitation, killed all three.
Drumph could only feel helpless. A major family’s three generations of heirs had been wiped out. It was obvious that the James Family would never let Luca go from here on out. This was no longer a personal grudge.
"Don’t worry, I’ll handle the rest." Luca didn’t even seem to consider Drumph’s warning. After all, whether the James Family came after him or not, he would eventually deal with them. Killing them now only saved him the trouble later.
Drumph wanted to say something, but Luca was already taking Leipoder’s daughter into the villa, leaving Drumph to only sigh deeply in resignation.
At this point, it was too late for any more words. He could only hope that the person in the Imperial Capital would be able to protect Luca when the time came.
Once Luca entered the villa, he found that the furniture and appliances were arranged neatly. The grand and golden hall had been cleaned spotless. He took the little girl upstairs, where the bed and bedding had already been prepared.
"You can rest here. If you need anything or get hungry, just knock on my door," Luca said, giving her a few more instructions. After the little girl nodded, he was about to leave, but suddenly thought of something.
He asked, "I still don’t know your name?"

The little girl tilted her head and thought for a moment before softly replying, "Tracer…"
"Tracer…" Luca gently patted her head, said nothing more, and turned to head for the adjacent room. The little girl stood still for a moment before also heading to her own room.
After Luca took a shower, he lay on the bed but didn’t immediately rest.
Instead, he pulled out the Sinful Divine Rank.
The purple light flickered in the room as he furrowed his brows.
Since leaving Leaf City, he had noticed that the Sinful Divine Rank’s power had been subtly drawn by something.
The Sinful Divine Rank was Zenobia’s divine rank, and the only person capable of resonating with it in this world was probably her.
But it shouldn’t be happening like this. That woman had been forcibly sealed in the Abyssal Demon Realm by him using the Celestial Pearl. Even if she could somehow break free, it would take thousands or tens of thousands of years. How could she have escaped so quickly?
And if Zenobia had really broken free, she should have come straight to find him. With her strength, no one on Earth could stop her, and he would have been long dead by now.
A bad premonition rose in his heart, but he couldn’t figure out where the problem lay. So, he decided to set the issue aside for now. After all, the Sinful Divine Rank and Sophia were both with him. If Zenobia truly wanted her power back, she would come to him.
After thinking for a while, he pulled out the shattered Ice Frost Divine Rank and let his mental energy probe into it. Inside, he saw Sophia sleeping quietly on an ice bed. Her ice-blue hair spread out like a blooming camellia.
Luca stared at her for a long time before putting it away. He could feel that Sophia’s aura was becoming weaker and weaker. He wasn’t sure how much longer she could hold on, so he knew he had to act fast.
After thinking for a moment, he grabbed his phone and dialed a number.

Before long, Drumph’s voice came through the line, asking, "What’s up?"
Luca asked, "Are there any high-level nodes near the 102 Refuge?"
The materials to revive Sophia were nearly impossible to find in the real world, and the passage into the game had been closed off. So, the only way to obtain them was to use a node to return to the Eternal World. And it had to be a node that led to a high-level instance dungeon in order to have a chance of finding what he needed.
"What do you need a high-level node for?" Drumph instinctively asked, then quickly added, "Forget it, I’ll have someone look for it. I’ll notify you if we find anything."
"Thanks," Luca replied, then relaxed his mind, lying down on the bed to get some rest.
The dream lasted a bit longer than usual. It seemed as though he entered another world, one filled with dazzling colors. In that world, he vaguely saw a massive silver-white snake. When the snake saw him, its purple eyes showed a look of surprise, and it kept staring at him, seemingly muttering something. But the distance was too great for Luca to make out what it was saying.
Just as he was about to get closer, the dream suddenly ended, and he woke up.
Luca slowly opened his eyes, the blinding sunlight shining directly into them. He hadn’t realized it, but it was already morning.
He stretched his arms lazily, the images from the dream still echoing in his mind.
Was it just his imagination, or did that snake look so much like Jörmungandr?
Frowning, Luca thought maybe it was time to see a psychologist.
How else could he possibly dream of that creature?
After getting dressed and freshening up, Luca knocked on Tracer’s door. There was a brief silence, then the sound of soft footsteps, followed by the creak of the bedroom door opening. Tracer’s little head peeked out from behind the door.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes, wearing an oversized nightgown. Her messy, fluffy hair, along with her delicate, pale little face, made her look like a princess straight out of a fairy tale.
"It’s time to get up," Luca said, ruffling her little head. Meanwhile, he thought to himself that he needed to get Drumph to prepare some children’s clothes and, ideally, find a nanny.
He was fine with fighting and killing, but he really wasn’t cut out for taking care of children.
He also didn’t know where the child’s father was. He’d have to ask Drumph to help look into it. But since he had decided to take on this responsibility for now, he needed to be mentally prepared.
After helping Tracer wash up, Luca made two simple breakfasts—sandwiches and milk, the only thing he knew how to prepare.
By the time they finished, it was already past eight.
Just as Luca was about to take the little girl out for a walk, the doorbell to the villa suddenly rang. He went to open the door and found Drumph standing outside, along with a middle-aged woman in simple clothes.
"Didn’t expect you to be up so early," Drumph said, surprised that Luca had answered the door so quickly. He had thought he’d need to knock a few times before Luca woke up, but he didn’t think too much of it and continued, "Actually, I have something I want to discuss with you. Oh, and I know you won’t be able to take care of the child, so I brought you a nanny. Her name is Phrantis. She used to do housework, so you can trust her."
"Thank you," Luca replied without being too formal, nodding at Phrantis and allowing her to take care of Tracer. He then headed to the study with Drumph.
"We found the high-level node you were looking for, but it’s not exactly close to the 102 Shelter. Getting there will likely take at least half a day," Drumph said straightforwardly.
"That quickly?" Luca was a little surprised. He had expected it to take at least a week, but they had found it after just one night.
Drumph sighed. "Don’t get too excited just yet. That place is already occupied by monsters. Quite a few of them came out of the high-level node earlier. If you want to go there, it’s not going to be easy."
Luca wasn’t concerned. "It’s fine. The fact that we found it is enough. I’ll handle the rest."
Seeing Luca’s calm response, Drumph didn’t press the issue any further. He was about to leave when Luca called out to him.
"By the way, do you know a person named Leipoder?" Luca asked.
Drumph paused for a moment. His steps faltered, and he turned to look at Luca in surprise. "Where did you hear that name?"
In his previous life... Luca internally scoffed but, of course, couldn’t tell the truth. He just said, "I heard it from Tracer. Her father’s name is Leipoder."
"That girl’s father is actually Leipoder?!" Drumph was even more shocked by this revelation. Then he seemed to understand something, his expression turning thoughtful. "No wonder, no wonder James Family came all the way from the Imperial Capital. They were after her..."
Luca hadn’t told Drumph that the James Family’s visit had anything to do with the girl. He had originally thought the James Family was either trying to win him over or cause trouble. Now he understood — it wasn’t about him at all, it was about the girl or rather, about Leipoder.
"Do you know this person? Do you have any information on him?" Luca asked again. He wasn’t surprised that Drumph knew Leipoder, since the man had been one of the world’s top scientists in the past.
Without hesitation, Drumph nodded. "Of course I know him. In fact, I saw him not long ago."
