Our Love Story: Hard to Guard Against the Sudden Love Strike-Chapter 339 - 326: Passed Down Through Generations
Thus, Simon Forrester took this opportunity to suggest that Sienna Thornton add his fingerprint to her phone.
Sienna naturally refused. Her phone contained too many confidential files, not that she feared Simon would leak them but because once the phone’s access was granted, her security system would have a breach and be incomplete.
In the end, she neither gave Simon access to her phone nor allowed him access to hers, even deleting her fingerprint from his phone.
Neither of them looked at each other’s phones, which was fair.

After breakfast, they followed Sylvia Langley’s car to Vendôme Plaza.
Today, they were going to CHAUMET to select wedding rings and jewelry for the wedding.
In the domestic market, CHAUMET’s fame was not as great as other jewelry brands like Cartier or Bvlgari. However, it is a top-tier luxury brand in the jewelry world, with a long history and outstanding status, having crafted tiaras for the Pope and various royal jewelry.
This top-level discreet luxury brand was very much to Simon and Sienna’s taste.
In the car, Sylvia informed them that there was no need to buy the main necklace for the wedding; she had already contacted friends at an auction house to find a suitable necklace for Sienna that would suitably represent the Forrester Family’s sincerity before the wedding.
Upon hearing it was just a necklace, Sienna thought even if it were an expensive diamond necklace, it wouldn’t be too outrageous, so she didn’t refuse.
.
Entering the CHAUMET headquarters, the staff greeted them warmly. Simon conversed with them in French for a few moments, and soon after, the manager came over to take them to the second floor.
The manager introduced everything to Simon in French along the way, which Sienna couldn’t understand. Once the manager left, she had Simon translate for her.
Simon said, "The first floor has the bulk designs, but the second floor has the custom designs and limited editions. We’ll choose directly from the second floor, and whatever you like, just have them bring it out."
The jewelry on the second floor was all displayed in sealed cases. Sienna walked over to have a look, seeing tiaras, necklaces, rings, bracelets, all adorned with large gemstones or diamonds.
After looking around, she remarked with a bit of displeasure, "I feel the styles are somewhat flamboyant; those diamonds are too big, and they look rather blunt. I prefer something more delicate."
Simon nodded, "What you mean by more delicate is for the wedding band, something for daily wear." He glanced at the staircase entrance, "When we’re done choosing, the designer will come over. Tell them the style you like, and they’ll design the draft; once you’re satisfied, they’ll make it."
"If there are options for daily wear, that’s great. Let’s just choose a few simple and elegant necklaces for everyday wear."
Sienna didn’t have much knowledge about jewelry. She thought that as long as they had the most important pair of wedding rings, a few small pieces of jewelry for daily wear would suffice upon marriage.
However, Simon thought differently. Regarding the wedding jewelry, he had specially asked Sylvia and knew for the wedding, they needed to prepare a set of jewelry for the bride from head to toe, and since they planned to host both a Western and a contemporary-style wedding banquet, they needed two complete sets of jewelry.
If resources allowed, the more the better.
He definitely had the resources, with more than enough to spare, but he worried Sienna wouldn’t want to.
As expected, Sienna browsed for a while and then said her eyes were tired from looking at too many options, so she wanted him to call the designer over directly to confirm the styles for the wedding rings and necklaces.
The designer arrived. Sienna briefly expressed her thoughts, and soon, the designer produced draft designs. She reviewed them and exclaimed with satisfaction.
It was actually a very simple four-claw diamond ring, with the main pear-shaped diamond about one carat. The men’s ring was similarly simple, in a platinum band with embedded round diamonds.
Simon was also very satisfied with this style. If he had to wear a large diamond ring out, he too would feel uncomfortable.
With the wedding ring styles decided, Sienna then chose a few platinum diamond necklaces and bracelets from the store. After selecting, she wanted to leave, pulling Simon along.
Simon greeted the manager, who immediately had several pre-prepared sets of jewelry delivered.
Four three-layer diamond necklaces lay flat in their gray jewelry boxes, with countless small white diamonds. The main stones were green, red, yellow, and blue; and various luxurious rings and earrings with large diamonds.
They were indeed beautiful, and Sienna looked at them without blinking.
"Which one do you think looks nice?"
Lost in thought, she was startled by a voice next to her ear. Instinctively, she pointed at a sapphire necklace with matching ring, bracelet, and earrings.
Without hesitation, Simon instructed the manager in French to wrap them up.
Sienna snapped back to reality, holding his hand and asking, "How much is this set?"
Simon laughed, "How much could it be? Just a few hundred thousand."
Sienna didn’t quite believe him, but no matter how she pressed, Simon wouldn’t say. Moreover, high-end jewelry brands wouldn’t have visible price tags on their jewelry.
She was about to say it was too expensive and that they shouldn’t buy anything more than a million, but before she could, the manager brought out several diamond tiaras.
The tiaras came in wheat sheaf designs, star designs, and scepter designs, all crafted from multiple small diamonds and a few large main stones.
They were too beautiful, and Sienna was mesmerized, softly asking, "I’m not ascending the throne; what’s the point of a tiara?"
"Because you are my queen," Simon whispered in her ear, "For the Western-style wedding, you’ll wear a veil, and naturally, you’ll need a tiara."
"I was thinking of buying one online for a few hundred bucks, considering I’ll only wear it for a few hours."
Simon chuckled, "I can’t let you wear a fake one when I can afford the real thing."
Sienna counted the small diamonds on one of the tiaras. The largest pear-shaped main stone was at least ten carats, and the other small diamonds averaging 0.5 carats each, numbering at least two to three hundred diamonds, making the total diamond weight of the tiara at least around thirty carats.
That meant the tiara was worth at least two to three million.
Shocked by the number, she whispered to Simon, "A tiara is worth half a house! To wear it for just a few hours seems so wasteful! Do you have money to burn?"
"It can be an heirloom to pass down to our daughter in the future."
Hearing him say this, Sienna thought for a moment and found it reasonable, "True, our daughter can pass it on to our granddaughter!"
"Generation after generation. And if you consider currency depreciation over the years, in a few decades, two or three million won’t be much. But the value of a diamond remains constant."
In the end, Sienna happily chose her favorite tiara.
Knowing her mind, Simon used the reasoning of "passing it to our daughter one day" to persuade her into buying many more pieces of jewelry and watches.
Since they had other places they wanted to visit, after paying, they had the jeweler send the jewels to the bank, temporarily storing them in Sylvia Langley’s safety deposit box at the bank.
