Overpowered Villain Returnee in the Apocalypse - System is for Losers-Chapter 16: Zombie Fighting (1)
Chapter 16: Zombie Fighting (1)
Wait here. I had told the hero as I went into the offense, ready to face off against the police zombies below.
Exactly one was in a raid costume and the rest were dressed like normal cops. I could look into the slimes' store for more weapons or whatever I would need but for now, I had to play it differently.
I couldn't rely on that thing for the same reason that I didn't want to use the stat or skill points or whatever. In any case, losers had to worry about things.
People like me, all normal folks? We made do with the things we had.
With the pistol I had stolen from the dead security guard, I hopped down the alleyways and walked toward the cops. There was little thought in my head other than killing them right away,
And kill them right away I would.
I tapped a stone.
The zombies heard and turned around.
With my smile wide, I beckoned them over.
"Come along."
"GRAAA!!!"
A zombie screamed as it raised its hands and came right toward me. The zombie ran with a deep gash in its chest and ran toward me, it was already being taken down by maggots.
Ew.
The zombie jumped and swiped its claws. I knocked its chest with a thrust kick and its spine broke right there. In that same sweep, I turned my foot and smacked its head to the ground with the back of my heels.
"Grah!"
The zombie didn't get a chance to continue squealing as I stomped on its head, crushing it in a go.
Another zombie had come straight up. It swiped. I leaned back and pulled open the magazine.
It swiped again, I dodged again.
"Hm, about four bullets?"
And I had thirteen zombies, ah, twelve now. Five of which were inside the station.
The zombie tried to claw me again. This time, I drove ahead and shoved the gun's nozzle into its mouth.
I grabbed its arm and twisted it back around the joint, breaking it in two as I pushed it along.
The mana from the circulation technique surged through me,
The zombie still in hand, I eyed another one and angled the first one straight around it. It tried to raise its other hand.
—BANG!
A splash of blood spilled as the bullet shot through the head of the first, and then the next zombie in line. At the same time, it hit the pole with the signboard next to the station and bent it to the side.
The zombies all were now focused on me.
"Go time."
