Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 615 - 618: Young Master Has Gone Mad!
Sophie Sullivan nodded her head like a pecking chick, and Thomas Shannon turned and entered the kitchen.
Sophie followed closely, standing at the entrance of the kitchen, both hands on the doorframe, poking her head in and staring at him.
Young Master Shannon stood in the center of the spacious kitchen. The Chief Chef, who was about to go back to rest, asked anxiously, "Young Master, what brings you here? Is the midnight snack not to your liking?"
Sophie stretched out her hand and pointed at Thomas Shannon. "He’s going to cook. You all leave."
What?! The Young Master is going to cook? How is this possible!
The Chief Chef was deeply shocked, and along with him, the maidservants were also shocked. Everyone looked at each other, their eyes conveying the same message: The Young Master has gone crazy! It’s either the Young Master has gone crazy, or he was driven crazy by the maniac... Their Young Master, handsome as a divine deity, was actually going to cook personally... It’s unbelievable!
Sophie stared at Thomas Shannon. "Bad person, why don’t they listen to me?"
Thomas Shannon turned, his handsome face slightly stiff and his voice even more awkward. "You go out first. Don’t stay here all the time. It gives me a headache just to see you."
Sophie slowly retracted her head, resentfully glancing at him. "Mother said that anyone who is mean to me is a bad person."
After saying that, she huffed and turned to run away.
Quickly climbing the staircase, Sophie kept looking back to make sure Thomas Shannon wasn’t following before she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She quietly sneaked to the entrance of the study room, pushed the door open, and then carefully closed it.
Turning on the lamp, she rushed to the desk and began to search it.
Where could Thomas Shannon have hidden her mobile phone?
She searched the desk surface but found nothing. She then pulled open a drawer and continued her search.
"Where is it... Where did he hide my mobile phone?"
In the kitchen, a man in black approached Thomas Shannon and whispered, "Young Master, the maniac has entered the study room."
"I know."
Thomas Shannon’s lips curved into a slight smile as he chuckled softly. She’s feigning madness and playing dumb just to find her mobile phone, isn’t she? Too bad for her, it’s on me. No matter how hard she searches, she won’t find it. Since she wants to play, I’ll gladly play along.
Back in the study room, Sophie searched everywhere she could think of but still couldn’t find her mobile phone.
She slumped into the boss chair, feeling completely drained, both hands clutching her head. "Damn it, Thomas Shannon! Where on earth have you hidden my mobile phone!"
Worried that Thomas Shannon might come upstairs, Sophie tidied the files on the desk surface before leaving the study room.
「One hour later.」
Sophie sat on the sofa in the bedroom, hugging her legs with both arms, her chin resting on her knees. She stared at Thomas Shannon, her gaze slowly moving down to the two plates of unappetizing, weird-smelling food on the tea table.
"What’s this?"
"Steak," Thomas Shannon said with a grin. "Won’t you try it?"
Sophie leaned back, a wary look on her face. "Mother said that if it doesn’t look good, it definitely won’t taste good."
Thomas Shannon draped an arm around her shoulder, his thin lips curving into a charming smile. "Mother said that Fennie loves to eat everything I make."
"I won’t eat it! You must have poisoned it! You’re a bad person! You want to harm me..."
Thomas Shannon raised an eyebrow, picked up a knife and fork, and cut the burnt, tough steak into even pieces. He forked a piece and held it to Sophie’s lips. "I’ve tasted it. There’s no poison, and the taste is pretty good. Want to try it?"
"No! I won’t eat it! I won’t eat it..."
Sophie pushed his hand away and, to vent her anger, kicked him a few times.
