Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 622 - 625 Fennie, watch carefully...
Won’t you be bullying me every day from now on? No way! I can’t forgive him that easily.
Sophie Sullivan blinked and nodded.
Anyway, I’ll just trick him into jumping down first...
Thomas Shannon’s eyes narrowed dangerously. Why doesn’t he trust her so much? He always feels that deep within her seemingly well-behaved eyes, she’s plotting how to torment him.
"Fennie, are you really sure?"
Sophie Sullivan pouted. "You keep asking, aren’t you getting tired of it?"
"Answer me."
Sophie Sullivan reluctantly said, "Sure."
"You said it. Don’t regret it," Thomas Shannon said, placing his palm on the edge of the fountain pool and easily leaping up.
Sophie Sullivan unconsciously took two steps back. Amid the splashing sound of the fountain, she couldn’t hear his words clearly.
Tiny water droplets clung to her, and she actually felt a bit cold.
She shivered, and Thomas Shannon frowned. "You jump down first."
"I’m scared..."
"You dared to climb up, but you don’t dare to jump down?" Thomas Shannon sneered. He jumped down and reached out to catch her. "Jump!"
Sophie Sullivan’s lips curled into a smile, and she forcefully pounced on him.
Caught by her sudden lunge, Thomas Shannon staggered back several steps before regaining his balance.
He suppressed his anger, a sinister voice squeezing out from between his teeth. "Sophie Sullivan, are you trying to crush me to death?"
Sophie Sullivan stepped out of his embrace, reached out, and patted his chest. "Too skinny and slight. Unqualified."
"What’s unqualified?"
"Unqualified to be a husband." Sophie Sullivan paused and added, "My Mum said so."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
Letting go of Sophie Sullivan, he leaped onto the edge of the fountain pool. He turned his head, a wicked smile hooking the corner of his mouth. "Fennie, watch closely."
With that, he jumped into the fountain.
SPLASH!
Sophie Sullivan hummed a little tune, turned, and walked away. "Little, little Erlang, carrying that schoolbag to school..."
Servant: "..."
Man in black: "..."
That little maniac... she’s openly toying with the Young Master, deceiving his feelings! And she even dared to hum a tune as she turned and left! It’s over... That little maniac has been spoiled by his favor; she’s done for.
Thomas Shannon surfaced, expecting to see Sophie Sullivan. Instead, he only saw her indifferent retreating figure. He waved his hand.
Charlie River understood immediately. He hurried over and blocked Sophie Sullivan’s path. "Maniac, the Young Master has something to show you."
"Not interested."
"It’s yours."
Sophie Sullivan was about to leave when the words "it’s yours" caught her attention. Her things... isn’t that her mobile phone? Could it be... Thomas Shannon had a pang of conscience and was going to return her phone?
At this thought, a hint of joy appeared on Sophie Sullivan’s face. She turned, her steps light, and returned to the fountain. "Bad guy, what do you have for me?"
Thomas Shannon, still in the water with his handsome face dripping, held a mobile phone in his palm and shook it. "Too bad. The phone’s gotten wet."
Sophie Sullivan stared, speechless.
Inside her heart, ten thousand horses ran wild. That was her phone! No wonder he’d repeatedly confirmed earlier whether she really wanted him to jump.
From a distance, William Guillen saw Sophie Sullivan standing in front of the fountain, her face a mask of frustration, looking like she was about to explode. He slowly brought the car to a stop.
He lowered the car window. "I say, what interesting game are you two playing?"
"Young Master Guillen."
The man in black and the servant greeted in unison.
William Guillen got out of the car. He looked at Thomas Shannon, who was standing in the water holding a mobile phone, a wicked smile on his face.
What had he done to be so pleased with himself?
