Sophie Sullivan glared at William Guillen before turning and storming off.

Charlie River and the man in black immediately went to the edge of the fountain, reaching out. "Young Master, please come up."

Thomas Shannon, soaking wet, emerged from the fountain, using Charlie River’s offered hand for leverage. He held Sophie Sullivan’s mobile phone in one hand and fished his own out of his pocket with the other. He handed both to Charlie River.

"Fix them."

"Yes, Young Master." After a pause, Charlie River asked, "Should I fix the maniac’s phone as well?"

Didn’t the Young Master want to keep her phone? Why not take this opportunity to let it be completely ruined...

Thomas Shannon took the towel handed to him by the servant and began wiping his dripping hair. A meaningful smile played at the corners of his lips. "Derek Clark calls her every day, doesn’t he? If we don’t keep him placated, Fennie will run off."

Charlie River understood. "Young Master, I’ll have someone fix the phones right away."

William Guillen leisurely tucked his hands into his suit trouser pockets, his tall frame leaning casually against the wall of the fountain pool. After watching for a while, he finally understood. Thomas Shannon was just teasing the maniac.

Unfortunately, the maniac was no match for Thomas Shannon. Judging by the way she’d stormed off, she was clearly on the verge of exploding!

Thomas Shannon looked up at William Guillen, who was clearly enjoying the spectacle. "What brings you here?"

William Guillen lifted his chin, gesturing towards his car. Thomas Shannon didn’t understand, furrowing his bright brow. "What do you mean?"

"I brought the notebook for you. With the maniac around earlier, I didn’t take it out of the car. It’s on the passenger’s seat; go get it yourself."

William Guillen had decided it was better to hand the notebook over personally. After all, it concerned Thomas’s woman. If it proved useful later, he might need it.

Thomas Shannon chuckled lightly. "Thanks."

"You’re welcome."

Thomas Shannon took the notebook and walked up the stairs with William Guillen, stepping into the castle.

Sophie Sullivan was nowhere to be seen. Holding the notebook, Thomas Shannon went directly upstairs. "I’m going upstairs to change."

"Go ahead, don’t bother with me."

William Guillen casually sat down on the sofa, looking as comfortable as if he were in his own home.

Minimus Hart gradually approached, smiling. "Young Master Guillen," he inquired, "would you like tea or wine?"

William Guillen’s smile was gentle, his eyes light. "Minimus, you know me well. Wine, of course." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Very well, Young Master Guillen, I’ll get the wine from the wine cellar."

Upstairs, Thomas Shannon entered the study room, locked the notebook in the safe closet, and then returned to the bedroom to change.

Sophie Sullivan sat on the sofa, having gulped down two cups of water in anger. She instinctively turned her head when she heard the door open.

Her angry gaze met Thomas Shannon’s cold one.

Thomas Shannon shut the door. A smile touched the corners of his lips, and his voice was low and amused. "Fennie, are you angry?"

"Bad person!"

Thomas Shannon put down the towel he’d been using to dry his hair. An innocent look appeared on his handsome face. "Fennie, Mum said we shouldn’t accuse good people without reason. You’re the one who told me to jump in. The phone getting wet is your responsibility; it has nothing to do with me. So, you’re the bad person."

Sophie Sullivan stiffened her neck, retorting, "You didn’t tell me my phone was on you before you jumped in!"

If she had known her phone was on him, she’d have to have been crazy to tell him to jump! At the very least, she would have made him take it out first. Now look at this mess...
