Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 83: Young Master, something’s wrong with the Young Master!
Chapter 83: Chapter 83: Young Master, something’s wrong with the Young Master!
The chatter in her ears was endless and incessant.
Thomas Shannon could no longer bear it. He pushed her down onto the bed with one hand, angrily growling, "What do you want to say in the end?!"
Feeling guilty, Sophie Sullivan coughed lightly. "I mean, Young Master, could you let someone bring me breakfast?"
Thomas Shannon: "..."
"I feel so weak all over..."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
"Young Master, please?" Sophie mustered her strength and played coy.
She despised herself inwardly, putting on a smiling face and clinging to his arm.
She thought she could easily achieve her goal, but she didn’t expect...
Thomas Shannon, this guy... was not seduced at all!
She was ruthlessly pushed away. Thomas Shannon sat up abruptly, his eyes deep and carrying a hint of unfathomable depth that others couldn’t detect. "Have I not told you that your ugly face is not suitable for acting spoiled?"
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
That’s enough!
A personal attack first thing in the morning.
Does she want to disfigure herself?
Does she want to be this ugly?
Sophie resignedly sat up, lifted the silk quilt, got out of bed, and went into the restroom to wash up under his gaze.
After she had fully woken up, she had no memory at all of the successive nightmares.
All she remembered was that in her dreams, she was tense, and her heartbeat was racing.
That feeling of fear and unease seemed to linger in her heart.
It couldn’t be dispelled.
She raised her hand and knocked on her own head. "Why is this happening..."
Having one or two nightmares is fine, but having several nightmares in one night is a bit too much.
This time, after waking from the nightmare, she clearly felt that her body had taken a significant toll, feeling frail and weak, unable to muster any energy.
After breakfast alone, Sophie ventured outside.
Following the stairs of the castle, she arrived in front of the massive Dragon’s Pearl Fountain.
The sound of the fountain’s water gushing resounded without limit in her ears.
Fine water droplets sprinkled onto her face, filling her pores.
Watching the continuously rolling water flow, the look in Sophie’s eyes gradually changed, and she tightly grabbed the icy marble of the fountain with both hands.
Her body trembled slightly, her tense cheek tightened, and in a short while, her facial color suddenly changed as she shouted, "I’ll kill you..."
Right when she said that, as soon as the shout fell, she jumped into the pool.
"You maniac, what are you doing?"
The servants quickly rushed forward, trying to get her out.
Sophie ignored them, acting as if she couldn’t hear them, and swam to the center of the fountain, beside the huge Angry Dragon statue, clenching her fist and hitting the statue.
"I’ll kill you... I’m going to kill you, haha!"
That crazed appearance scared the servants.
"Quick, go tell the Young Master, the maniac has gone mad!"
A maidservant turned around and quickly ran indoors. "Young Master, Young Master, something is wrong!"
When the panting maidservant arrived at the doorway of Thomas Shannon’s bedroom, before she could even raise her hand to knock, the bedroom door opened before her eyes.
The handsome man in a black silk robe, his hair messy, and his face dark, responded coldly, "What’s with all the yelling, hasn’t anyone taught you the rules?!"
The maidservant shivered all over, timidly lowering her head, her voice trembling. "I’m sorry, Young Master, I know I was wrong. It’s just that the affair was urgent, and I... I forgot the rules."
The maidservant looked up anxiously. "Young Master, the maniac... she’s gone mad!"
"What did you say?" The blue vein on Thomas Shannon’s forehead jumped violently.
What does she mean, the maniac has gone mad?
