Right after Coril finished speaking, Coril remained silent as he looked fervently at Sebastian, evidently to be very excited about investing the Lisandris Family’s future onto Sebastian.

Upon seeing that Coril was looking fervently at him and waiting for his response...

Since Sebastian was completely aware that this was actually a heaven-sent fortune that had basically landed onto his laps...

After all, with the support and help of a golden realm cultivator, it would basically mean that he will be able to build his own cultivation family with ease!

Without any hesitation, Sebastian stood up from his seat, then cupped his hands at Coril and said respectfully while with his voice filled with obvious excitement, "Great Grandpa Coril, of course I’m willing to accept your investment!"

Upon speaking up to here, seemingly to want to reassure Coril that he will indeed help out the Lisandris Family in its growth once he has become way stronger than the Lisandris Family, Sebastian imitated what Coril did previously.

As Sebastian lifted his right hand straight upward, Sebastian began swearing with a solemn look on his face, "I, Sebastian Force, swear to the heavenly daos that I will repay Coril Lisandris’ investment onto me by helping the Lisandris Family in its growth in the future when I have become way stronger than the Lisandris Family!"

However, unexpected to everyone within the living room, right when Sebastian had just finished swearing, a short sequence of rumblings of thunder suddenly began ringing out within the sky despite the fact that the weather was completely sunny and there wasn’t any stormy clouds in the sky at all.

Furthermore, looking at how everyone else within the Lisandris Family Manor was continuing on with their daily life, it was evident that only the people who were within the living room of Sebastian’s house was able to hear the loud rumblings of thunder ringing out within the clear sky.

Meanwhile, within the living room, while the thunder was rumbling, everyone except for Sebastian could feel their blood turning cold and felt as if something extremely frightening had their eyes fixed onto them.

Fortunately, the rumbling of thunder only lasted for what seemed to be just 10 seconds, despite the fact that it felt like an eternity had passed for Miuna, Julia, Dave, and Coril.

Right before the thunder’s rumblings had come to a stop, everyone within the living room could heard an indistinct voice that seemed to be coming from an extremely far away place ringing out within the living room.

Strangely enough, the indistinct voice sounded neither like that of a male nor a female, and even more, it even sounded rather distorted as it rang out within the living room, however, despite how indistinct and distorted the voice was, everyone within the living room was able to clearly understand the word that came out from the voice.

On the other hand, right as the voice rang out in Sebastian’s mind, various information suddenly appeared within Sebastian’s mind, and immediately, Sebastian understood what he had actually just done by copying Coril and swearing to the heavenly daos.

Thus, while with the corner of his mouth twitching, a speechless look couldn’t help but appear on Sebastian face as he looked speechlessly at the ceiling and thought to himself, "Ah... So this was why this old man actually swore to the heavenly daos... I actually thought that this old man was doing it for show... Shortly after the rumblings of thunder had come to a stop, Coril was the first one to come back to his senses from the frightening feeling that he had just experienced.

However, looking at Coril’s face, it was evident that the frightening feeling that Coril had just experienced didn’t affect Coril’s mood in any way, and even more, the fervent look that Coril currently had in his eyes as he looked at Sebastian was even more fervent than before.

Looking at just how fervently Coril was looking at Sebastian, if one didn’t know anything about the situation, they most likely would have somehow come to a wrong idea about Coril.

After letting out a hearty and unrestrained laugh, Coril suddenly disappeared from his spot and appeared by Sebastian’s left side, then pat his right hand onto Sebastian’s left shoulder.

"The fact that you are willing to swear to the heavenly daos even when you didn’t have to..."
