Chapter 111: You Will Regret It

Since they wanted to rob him, Ye Jun decided to return the favor. Robbery was one of his first professions, so he felt a little nostalgic. Though, he used different means back then.

The truck looked confused at his words. "How can someone be so stupid? You have a blade on your neck and still be so arrogant?"

"You know, if I wanted to talk to an asshole, I would just fart," Ye Jun sighed. "So just answer properly."

That ticked the bitch off as she punched him in the back, or at least she tried to, but her fists landed on empty air. In the next second, a tight slap sent her crashing forward.

Ye Jun dusted his hands off and said, "Violence isn’t the answer for everything. Let’s promote non-violence."

"Bastard!" Truck One ran towards him, though because of her weight she was way too slow.

"Seriously, how do you get fat in a cultivation world?" Ye Jun shook his head and sidestepped, easily dodging her fists. "You’re worse than that bitch."

Truck Two came to assist her, but neither could do anything to Ye Jun. He didn’t even fight them, simply dodging was enough to frustrate them.

Though, he did it so they spent more effort and dropped more attribute bubbles. It always worked. Unfortunately, neither were strong enough to give him any meaningful progress.

But everything was welcome, so he was happy with it.

Soon, the bitch also joined them and tried to use some Mysterious Techniques while the two trucks were keeping him occupied.

Ye Jun let her use it as he wanted to add it to his collection. Unfortunately, she didn’t drop any attribute bubbles, which irritated him. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

"You haven’t mastered it, have you?" he asked. "Is that why you resort to robbing others? You’re too pathetic to do anything yourself."

"Shut up! I’ll kill you!" the bitch got angrier, making him believe he struck a nerve.

"This is getting a bit boring," Ye Jun said, ducking under Truck One.

The training in the Gale Pressure Chamber came in handy, as he could move swiftly without losing his balance. Stone Step Footwork helped further.

He turned towards the woman who was getting bullied and asked, "What will I get if I help you?"

The woman got even more confused, while the trio grew frustrated and angry. They felt humiliated. Ye Jun was not only fighting three of them simultaneously but also talking to someone else, as if they didn’t even exist.

Finally, the bullied woman sat up and said, her voice quivering, "I’ll give you my contribution points."

"So, I’m also a robber in your eyes."

"N-No! That’s not what I meant." The woman got scared, especially since Ye Jun was very powerful in her eyes and she didn’t want to offend him.

Ye Jun was going to say more, but a blade came slashing at his neck, so he punched the bitch’s wrist, knocking her weapon to the ground.

"Give me a second. Too many bugs here," Ye Jun said, before turning towards the three of them.

Ten seconds.

That was all it took for him to subdue the bitch and her trucks. Dusting off his hands, he looked at the two unconscious bodies and the bitch who was groaning.

She faced him and spat, "You’re going to regret messing with us."

"Clearly, I won’t," Ye Jun shook his head and said. "Now, leave before I break a few of your bones."

The bitch cursed him, then kicked the two trucks as they woke up. They glared at him hatefully before running away. They also made sure to remind him of the consequences.

Ye Jun went towards the bullied woman and said, looking at her poor condition, "So, what can you do for me?"

The woman shifted backwards, clutching her clothes and looked down. "I-I don’t know."

"Relax. I’m not a sex demon," Ye Jun said, then added after thinking for a second, "How about you treat me to a good meal today?"

The woman clearly didn’t expect it, so she just stared at him dumbfounded.

"Is that a no?" Ye Jun tilted his head slightly.

"N-No. I mean, yes. I-I..." Flustered, she tried to calm herself and said, "I meant, yes, I’ll treat you."

"Noice!" Ye Jun grinned. "I’ll wait on the other side, so uh, clean yourself and come join me."

The woman nodded, still looking down.

Ye Jun walked back to the main pathway, happy with himself for getting a free meal. As for offending the trucks, he didn’t think much of it as that was part of his plan.

’They probably have connections to some higher-up, or maybe a disciple with influence,’ he wondered.

Soon, the woman joined him, having straightened her robes and washed away the dirt and blood from her face. She looked much better now.

She had an ordinary face, the kind which could mingle in the crowd easily. Same with her figure. Thin and scrawny as if she hadn’t eaten for days. Though, the main difference was a pair of spectacles that Ye Jun didn’t expect to see.

"Huh?" Ye Jun blinked and asked, pointing at her specs. "What are those for?"

"I can’t see things at a distance clearly," she replied, still a bit hesitant. "I have had this condition since I was a child."

"And cultivation didn’t cure it?"

She shook her head in response.

"Interesting." Ye Jun was clearly surprised. "I guess it’ll happen at higher realms then."

"I’m hoping for that," the woman replied, finally relaxing a little. "That’s my objective for pursuing the Dao."

"A good one," Ye Jun said, turning around. "Let’s go then. I’m hungry. Those three bitches really wasted a lot of my time."

"Thank you," the woman bowed her head. "Thank you for stepping up to save me."

Before Ye Jun could say anything, she added, "I know you didn’t have any intention of doing that, but you still did. So I’m really grateful."

Ye Jun scratched his head and said, "If you’re that grateful, then you can treat me twice. Also, I’m sure things won’t change for you. They’ll still bully you and I won’t save you again."

"I know. It’s nothing new for me," the woman said, her voice distant. "But someone saving me is new, so I will treat you as much as you like."
