Playing With Other Supernaturals-Chapter 1386 Debut part 4
Chapter 1386 - 1386 Debut part 4
Shiva felt that something was amiss when he stared at the man who introduced himself as Sosuke Aizen, and without any further word from him, a vertical slit appeared on his forehead.
Aizen was curious about it and watched as it opened, revealing a golden reptilian eye.
At that moment, Shiva realized that the Aizen speaking to him was just another corpse, and the real man was standing off to the side. "These petty illusions won't work on me."
Aizen's eyes widened in surprise. He already knew that his hypnosis would be discovered not long after he revealed himself, but he didn't expect it to be this early. "Fascinating. Ever since I've come here, I've been humbled many times."
With his newly upgraded body, Shiva managed to approach Aizen swiftly and silently. The latter, however, felt his movement and was able to dodge with a masterful Flash Step.
To those who didn't have Ophis' snake's protection, it just looked like Shiva had suddenly swung his fist towards an empty space. Of course, they had no reason to think that he had completely lost his mind, so those competent enough were also able to see through Aizen's hypnosis after some effort.
It's not an exaggeration to say that if not for Shiva's action, they wouldn't have realized their senses had already been tricked, and they all shuddered at the thought that they were being manipulated without their awareness.
"My... How violent. Didn't I just say that I understand your plight?" Aizen continued with a smirk on his face.
Shiva turned in his direction once again, and it was obvious to everyone that he was not amused. "With that condescending tone?"
Aizen didn't deny it. "I mean, I really appreciate the effort towards improvement regardless of everyone's beliefs. It's just that I can't say I approve of your attainment."
Shiva stared at Aizen with all of his eyes and soon enough lost interest in him, dismissing him as a madman.
In his eyes, the strange man also had this strange aura that directly came from his soul, like the other strange individuals from Kisuke's group. However, compared to them, Aizen's aura was a tad bit lower than even the weakest member of their group. He was shocked at Aizen's unusually powerful illusion technique that directly affected his perception, but there was nothing else special about him. Shiva could also understand why Yoruichi and the others didn't want to interfere—it seemed that this illusion of his affected everyone indiscriminately.
With that conclusion in mind, Shiva immediately started arranging his priorities. 'Considering her importance to him, I should try capturing Yoruichi Shihouin and implant my flames on his other lovers.'
At first, Shiva wanted to eliminate Kisuke, but after the unforgettable scene that he showed them earlier and planted a seed of doubt and fear within their minds, Shiva thought of using Kisuke to his advantage. And it just so happened that his weaknesses were currently standing in front of him. 'It'll be a disservice to myself if I don't take advantage of that.'
While thinking of such things, Shiva burst into action once again, but this time, in a much faster and quieter manner than his previous attempt. His movement could be mistaken for instant teleportation with how fast he appeared behind Aizen. And instead of a punch, Shiva just calmly placed his flaming right hand on Aizen's back, which instantly engulfed him.
Unlike normal fire, Shiva's fire didn't emit any heat; instead, it directly deconstructed anything that it touched into elementary particles, giving it a destructive effect.
As the purple and black flames completely swallowed Aizen, Shiva commended him in his mind as he saw that the rate of burning would take a few seconds for Aizen to be annihilated. 'Maybe he indeed has something else, considering that it would take that long to erase him.'
Regardless, he was already done with him and turned his head back to Yoruichi. "I'm disappointed in you. Did you think that madman could do anything to stop me? I've been disrespected enough."
He knew that more of the neutral and Indra's forces would come to Mars, so Shiva prepared to capture Yoruichi and curse the other girls to avoid the disadvantageous position of being alone in the middle of an army of the strongest people of Draconic Deus. Even though he's very confident with his current ability and still has several hidden cards up his sleeve, there's no reason to confront them now.
But just as he was about to move, Shiva suddenly heard Yoruichi chuckling. "Madman? No words could better describe that guy... But I think we view the word 'madman' a bit differently."
Shiva's brows furrowed, wondering what Yoruichi meant. He thought about it for a moment and considered that Yoruichi might just be buying time when he finally realized that the flames behind him had continued burning past his estimated time for Aizen to be reduced to nothing.

He hurriedly turned around and saw that his flames were still burning bright. But that was the problem—they were still burning bright instead of snuffing out.
Shiva was still confused when he and the others heard a voice coming from within the thick flames. "I apologize for your disappointment. I wonder how I can amend that?"
It was an arm first, then a leg. Soon enough, Aizen walked out of Shiva's Flames of Decay and stood in front of him with a grotesque smirk on his face.
Aizen didn't come out of the flames unscathed, as his flesh, bone, and a portion of his skull were visible. These parts, however, had started bubbling with white matter, which began mending his grievous wounds. "Though I must say, your flames are even more terrifying than the one I knew in certain ways. You can be proud of that."
Shiva gritted his teeth and formed a knife with his hand before aiming at Aizen's neck. "Let's see you survive without your head. I won't be holding back this time."
Contrary to his expectations, however, Aizen easily caught his hand. When Shiva tried prying it away from him, he found that his machine-like arm had become immovable. "...Huh?"
In the distance, Ichigo frowned and muttered, "...That's..."
"What is it?" Renji immediately asked him.
"It's similar to my state before I used Mugetsu (Moonless Sky)."
Yoruichi's eyes also widened. "If someone like him was able to emulate that..."
"Please don't... It's depressing enough that he can do something similar to that. And he decided to become our enemy right now; we won't be enough to go against him... Unless, of course, I activate Final Getsuga Tenshou once again," Ichigo muttered in defeat.
It took a bit more time for Renji to understand what they were talking about, and when he finally remembered what Ichigo did before his Mugetsu (Moonless Sky), he shuddered. "...Wait..! He converted his Reiatsu to physical strength!? No wonder I can't feel his usual Reiatsu!"
