Playing With Other Supernaturals-Chapter 1387 Fatality
Chapter 1387 - 1387 Fatality
While holding Shiva's arm, Aizen fully regenerated. It was only then that everyone noticed that he was now wearing a long white robe instead of his previous black attire. In addition to that, his hair was now longer, reaching up to his waist, and the color of his eyes had become inverted, with black sclera and white pupils.
What caught the attention of the group of Shinigami from afar, however, was the dull purple gem embedded in his chest. "...I didn't disappear, huh?" Ichigo muttered before turning towards Yoruichi. "Shouldn't we start calling for reinforcements now?"
Yoruichi remained silent for a bit before shaking her head. "It's going to be fine."
Ichigo didn't know where her trust in him was coming from, but he also recalled Aizen's strange relationship with the people of this world, including Claire, Kunou, and Tanis, so he decided to stay quiet while also preparing to jump into action if needed.
The moment Aizen transformed, his hypnosis also broke, allowing others to witness what was really happening, and they were speechless at what they saw.
While Shiva was very surprised that Aizen could suddenly overpower him in terms of strength, he felt more disrespected by the smirk on Aizen's face. He pulled out all the stops and summoned his flames once again, but this time from all over his body, and these flames were more purple than black. "I see that you're confident in your regeneration... Let's put that to a test, shall we?"
Aizen was astonished by his words but was soon engulfed in flames once again.
Shiva saw that Aizen was still regenerating and frowned. He increased the output of his flames, surging his blackish-purple flames further, but before he could see the results of his efforts, he suddenly heard a chuckle from the crackling flames.
"Fufu... Hahaha... Test? Me?" Shiva then felt a sudden pressure on the arm that Aizen was holding, and he couldn't even react before it was crushed like a tin can. "What!?"
Shiva felt a sharp pain, but he was more concerned that his opponent managed to crush a metal body that he was promised could withstand almost anything. He had confirmed this against his brief fight with Indra, who had merely stood still and taken all of his attacks. This was the very reason why he was able to suppress the latter with so much ease.
Yet right now, it was like a piece of foam in Aizen's hands, and he couldn't comprehend the physical strength required to achieve that.
Aizen, on the other hand, ignored Shiva's reaction and continued speaking. "I did compliment you, but you said you'd test me? I thought that eye could see a lot more, but apparently, I gave you too much credit."
Shiva couldn't bother to respond and tried pulling away his arm once again when he felt Aizen's grip lessen. He contemplated whether he should just cut off his arm, but that hesitation would prove to be a grave mistake.
The blackish-purple flames that had been eating at Aizen suddenly exploded outward, separating from him. In the next instant, a bright purple aura began surrounding him. The aura was so dense that Shiva's arm started melting within Aizen's hand.
Shiva was stunned—not because his flames couldn't penetrate the bright purple boundary around Aizen, but because of the instant discrepancy in his senses; he perceived a shadow of a giant, horrifying monster that made him feel like a small, insignificant ant standing in front of it.
Because of this, he failed to notice that Aizen's other hand was approaching and grabbed his face.
It was only when he heard Aizen speaking that Shiva came to his senses once again. "You wanted to test me? Instead of surpassing yourself, you're someone who took a step back just for glory."
Shiva couldn't properly listen because he could feel a sheer force lifting his head away from his body. In his last moments of struggle, he burst into flames again while using his remaining limbs to bash the hand that held him. He even tried summoning his ace, his Divine Weapon Trishula, but for some reason, it wouldn't respond to him.
"Yrrrgh! Wha--Whaaarr yooou!? Wuhhh...whaarr yrrr doiiing!?" Shiva couldn't help but scream, but Aizen just chuckled in response. "I respect your effort to gain strength, but you wasted it. You can now fully control your flames... But why did you stop? Was it satisfaction? Was it pride? Or did you think you were strong enough, even though it's very obvious that there are beings out there who could stomp you?"
Shiva then started bleeding from his orifices as Aizen squeezed his head and pulled it in the opposite direction from the arm he was holding. Shiva could only release a scream as he panicked and tried to escape Aizen's clutches.
"You had ambition, but it fell short. I can understand it if you have other interests, like a certain self-proclaimed candy shop owner, though I still can't accept it." Aizen continued his questioning, "You, on the other hand... Was it worth it? Did regaining your flames mean anything? Was their look of awe worth it? Hee... How worthless. If you want to gain strength, you don't impress the weak but make the strong kneel."
Saying his last words that were drowned out by Shiva's shrill screams, Aizen forcefully separated his head from his body, dragging what looked like a metallic spine.
Shiva's body was indeed strong because instead of his arm, his neck popped off first.
The blood that sprayed everywhere also landed on Aizen but was instantly vaporized before it could touch his skin.
Aizen curiously looked under Shiva's neck and saw some traces of modification inside his head too. "Lucky you. You'll be able to survive with just a head."
Shiva's flames finally stopped along with his screams. His third eye also closed while his other eyes became blank. The situation, however, was still far from calm as Aizen's aura was still flaring out, making the others look at him with fear. This was especially prominent with Indra, who seemed to have his pride crushed and a dark cloud enshrouding his mind.
Aizen ignored them and turned to Yoruichi before tossing Shiva's head, with his spine still attached, to her. "You have a way to contain him, right?"
Yoruichi took out a small bottle and threw it towards Shiva's head that was approaching her. The bottle expanded and caught Shiva's head in it before it shrank once again and returned to Yoruichi. "What are you going to do with the body?"
"It caught my interest, so I'll take it as my compensation. Do you have anything against it?"
Yoruichi stared at the partially Hollowfied Aizen before shaking her head. "Forget it."

She wanted Shiva's body too, but Aizen right now was too much for them.
Aizen smiled and turned around before disappearing with a flash of purple light.
"...Instant teleportation!?" Wukong exclaimed once he understood what just happened.
