Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 837: Infighting

Nidoking was his first official Pokemon and among the current Pokemons he had, it was the one that was close to reaching tier 3 king rank. So, Axel wanted to focus on it first.

For a long time he didn't have a vision on how to raise Nidoking. It specialize on special attacks but its physical powers were also not bad. It had 2 cores and it could concentrate on the directions of both of the cores.

Finally, it had too many moves. Nidoking was very versatile but when a Pokemon reaches higher rank, they need to specialize on something. Because if they don't they could not master a single thing.

This was the problem of Nidoking. It was his first official Pokemon as he wanted it to be special. But since Nidoking focused on a lot of areas, he didn't know what to do.

But now, after researching for so many months, discussing it with Nidoking, Axel had come up with a perfect training plan.

First was its ground type core. The direction that it would focus on would solely be for defense. Ground type core could do a lot of things from attacking, controlling, and defending. But Axel only wanted it to focus on defense.

Ground types were known for their defense. If Nidoking could manipulate ground type core perfectly, it would not only make Nidoking stronger physically and it could also set up many defensive formations.

Secondly about poison type directions. Recently, system had rewarded Axel with ice path, fire path and poison path.

These paths contained information about the directions of these elements and how they could be used in different ways.

When Axel looked at poison path, he was surprised to see the uses of poison core.

As per the system, poison cores could be used to do variety of things. There was one direction where the user could create life by manipulating poison. Then the user can also control these poison life like a hive mind. This direction was so broken that Axel believed that it might not be possible but the system had laid down the ways on how to do it.

Actually, this was perfect for someone like Beedrill but not for Nidoking.

Then there was a direction called, 'Blood poison' where the user could not only manipulate the blood of itself and the surrounding but also the blood of its enemies. This was also perfect for someone like Crobat.

There was another direction where the user would literally eat the flesh of it enemies which would temporarily and also permanently enhance itself like increasing its health, stamina and also its core powers. That was just crazy.

There was also one called 'Poison thread' which will let the user shoot out threads like Spiderman only these threads would be made from poison. The poison would have various effects.

There were also many directions like there was one which would make the user able to create swords and shields from their bodies.

There were a lot of directions but Axel got interested in the above. But Axel believed that none of them were suitable for Nidoking. Of course, they were powerful but if these directions were not suitable for Nidoking, it would not make sense to train on it.

Axel found 2 directions that were perfect for Nidoking. The first was called, 'Poison inducement'. This direction would let the user use poison to have multiple effects like sleep, paralysis, life suck and cause pain. The most interesting effect was called 'Necrosis inducement' which would let the user use poison to kill the cells inside the body of the enemy.

The second direction was called 'Poison empowerment'. This would let the user enhance its body with the help of poison. It would also heighten stamina recovery and increase the health and overall stats of the user.

Axel chose these 2 directions because Nidoking already had some moves regarding it. Moves like 'Poison damage transfer', 'Life suck' and 'Poison manipulation' had similar effects. So, Nidoking would have easier time to master these directions.

With 'Poison empowerment' and ground type direction focused on defense, Nidoking would be a tank and could handle a lot of attacks. Then with attacking poison moves, it would virtually be invisible in tide battles.

"Meg, I have decided on the training plan for these upcoming 3 months. The first thing that you need to do is to focus on 'Poison empowerment'. As of right now, just focus on improving the defense with poison manipulation.

Then we need to explore the option of using ground type core on improving your defense. We must create a move regarding it.

The third thing that you need to focus on is 'Ancient power'. Your mastery of 'Ancient power' is way too low. You need to improve upon it.

The fourth and the final things is to improve your move casting speed. We need to get a passive move for it.

These are the things that you need to focus in these 3 months. I know that it is a lot but we will get there."

There were a lot of things that Axel wanted Nidoking to do but doing all those things at the same time would not be productive. Like, he wanted it to focus on its electric hidden typing and then combine it with poison but that would take some time.

Axel also believed that improving the move-casting speed would boost its overall powers to a new level. It knew too many moves and since it knew so many moves, it could use the right move at the right time at a fast speed. Having a passive move regarding move casting speed would enable it to use its powers to its full potential.

"Now, coming to 'Poison empowerment'. You already have 'Poison manipulation'. The first stage of 'Poison manipulation' would let you manipulate poison on your body and also the body of your enemies. What it would not let you do is manipulate poison inside your body cells. If you can do that, then you can empower yourself through poison.

But doing so hastily might cause a severe backlash. So, what we need to do is improve on how to manipulate poison core. If you could connect your body cells with poison core, then you might be able to do that."

Every Pokemon could manipulate their cores to a certain extent. They could improve this manipulation as they reach higher ranks. The potency of the cores would also increase as they reach higher rank. Axel wanted Nidoking to improve his control on its poison core to learn 'Poison empowerment'.

With the defense and empowerment from ground core and poison core, Nidoking's physical stats would be higher and it could also control the battlefield with poison. This was Axel's vision for Nidoking.

"Do you think that a weak person like you could do whatever you want?"

Axel was eating at the canteen when he suddenly heard a commotion. People started to gather near the commotion and it looked as if a fight was going to take place.

"Hey you, what is your name?", asked Axel to a member that was also interested in the commotion.

The said member didn't know that Axel was there with him. So, when he saw Axel, he was instantly nervous. Being an experienced trainer, he controlled himself and said, "Sir, my name is Rakhe."

"So, Rakhe, do you know what is happening there?"

"Sir, they are fighting."

"I can tell that but what is the reason for the fight?", asked Axel.

"The people in the experienced team are humiliating the refugee's team members saying that they are weak and they should just give up. Obviously, the refugee team is not going to take that shit. So, they started to fight with the experienced team and now this had become very heated.", said Rakhe.

"So, which side are you on?"

"Sir, I am a newcomer. I cannot take anyone side."

"Good. Finish your lunch and go back to training."

Fighting among teams was inevitable. All these new members had come from various backgrounds and all of them had different principles and values. So, they were bound to fight. Axel knew that he had to deal with this.

He went near the commotion and found out that Henry and Ashmita were trying to resolve the commotion. Axel wanted to see how they would be able to handle it but seeing that they were not so successful, Axel decided to step in.

As Axel went near the site of commotion, everyone started to part ways to give him some room. Finally, the 2 main perpetrators, who were fighting, noticed Axel and closed their mouths.

"Tell me both of your names.", demanded Axel.

"Sir my name is Satish and I am from the experienced group his name is Rathi and he is from the refugee group.", said Satish.

"Ok, so what is the problem here? Why are you guys fighting?"

"Sir, Rathi and his team have been training in the training area that we also want to train. We waited for them for a couple of hours but they didn't want to give us the spot.

For the betterment of the whole team, it is necessary that those who are stronger should get more resources and training spots."

"So, you are saying that the refugee group is weaker than the experienced group?", asked Axel.

"Sir, I don't want to sound arrogant but that is the truth."

"Hmm, Alright then. Tomorrow, one of the members of the experienced group and one of the members of the refugee group with fight with one Pokemon. The winner of that battle would get the chance to use that training area for 5 days.

Do you both agree to it?"

"Yes sir, we do."

"Yes sir."

"That is good. I don't want any fighting inside the team. All of you are members of the same team but I also agree that the strong should have more resources. That is how the world works. After 5 days, everything will return to normal.

Is that okay for both of you?"

Both of them didn't have any problem with it. The refugees were small in number so they only had one captain and a single group. While the experienced one had many teams spread out.

Axel knew that both of them were going to use their most powerful team members aka, their captains.

Axel, Henry, and Ashmita were now in Axel's room discussing it.

"Sir, we found out that there is a place on this island where one could train their electric-type Pokemons in a rather interesting way. The place will field with magnetic energy. I also have not seen it before.

Other teams don't care much about it but the refugees and the experienced team members have the highest number of electric type Pokemons with them. So, they want to set a monopoly on that area.

"Hmm, even I didn't know that such a place existed. I want to see their battle tomorrow. Tell me when it happens."
