113 You Are Not Worthy!

The next day, after having breakfast with her mom, she slung her school bag that had nothing save for her phone, earbuds and some papers.

Over the night she had been very busy with preparing contracts, it was easy for her mom that knew her well to see that she didn’t sleep well.

“You didn’t sleep well, do you have to go to school today also?” Her mom asked worriedly as she looked at the slight eye bags under that attractive face.

“Hmmmm, I won’t stay long today and would try to come back early,” she promised and then walked over to give her mom a hug.

Rong Xia watched as she left and said nothing, after a while, she pulled out her phone and dailed a number.

She talked to the person for about ten minutes and if anyone was listening, they would see that the only thing she talked about was her daughter, after the call ended, her eyes looked at the door with a little bit of hope and sadness before she started to pack the dishes.

Every mother wanted the best for their child, for someone like her, even though she tried to hide it, she knew that her daughter was doing too much.

And so during this time, she had worked hard with Lu San on the personal greenhouse they were building. With the assistance of only one person, most of the herbs that would be needed in the future for the greenhouse was already growing well.

More importantly, the greenhouse was large, almost as big as some companies office space as they needed to plant in large quantities. Without Rong Yue interfering, she had planted each plants in different small spaces separated by glass so that neither one would affect the other.

.....

She hoped that when it was needed, her daughter would not have to stress about that.

After clearing all the dishes, Rong Xia went to the pants that she grew under the shade of the window and picked from about five of them, after then she mashed them together, extracted their juice and used it to massage her temples.

These were things that she would only do when her daughter wasn’t at home.

As for the oblivious daughter, Rong Yue quickly arrived at school, since teacher Lu had sent her a message to be in school before 10am, she went to meet her classmates first and Sun Li who spotted her from the window rushed out in excitement as soon as she saw her.

“Yue’er!”

“You still haven’t changed and would still shout my name every time,” Rong Yue teased as she pinched her cheeks slightly.

Sun Li flushed brightly at her teasing as if she was in front of the guy she admired. “You won’t reply me all day, all I can do is wait till you come to school to see you,” Sun Li pouted angrily.

Originally, she had held dreams that her brother would pursue Rong Yue and they would be sisters for life.

Who would have imagined that as soon as she finished her last paper examination, her brother had announced that he had been sent for a special mission that could take close to a three to four months!

By the time he returned, wouldn’t it be that Rong Yue would have forgotten him? It was even worse that sister Yue’s appearance was so perfect.

Even she as a girl couldn’t help being moved by her, it was hard to expect that a girl like that would not be taken by someone before her brother came.

But even though she thought like this, there was really nothing she could do.

As for Rong Yue, she had no idea what thoughts were running through the girl’s mind and was just giving casual replies to her questions.

“So what do you think I should do? You are the one that told me to learn and do other things that would make my family proud, now I have studied so hard but I need to find something I’m doing... Song Jian is always busy everyday!” She said in one go.

Between everything she had said, Rong Yue happened to have heard just one line.

Song Jian is alwasy busy everyday!

“What does you wanting to do something have to do with Song Jian being busy?” She asked, raising her brows as she peered at Sun Li with those lazy dark eyes.

Sun Li saw that she had revealed her thoughts by mistake and faltered.

“Y..you are also busy everyday, I’m just saying that in the group of four, I’m the only one with some free time,” she said, looking away to avoid Rong Yue’s eyes that felt like she could see through her soul.

“You must remember to always live for yourself. That is why I have decided to allow you experience everything you want and everything that crosses your mind so that when you eventually get something that’s right for you, you will know that it is really right for you,”

Even though it wasn’t much, Sun Li understood what Rong Yue meant and nodded her head gratefully.

“Okay, I’ll keep searching and when I do find it, I’ll let you know!” She promised, nodding her head repeatedly so that Rong Yue could sense her sincerity.

Rong Yue nodded and then without any warning rubbed her head softly.

“I’ll be waiting,”

When she entered class, she saw that everyone was here like as if exams hadn’t ended and even Wu Hao was already back.

Perhaps since they had all studied fiercely for the exams, they were all scared to take a break and go playing without seeing their results.

Not long after she entered class and talked with her classmates a little, Tong Yang entered.

“Tch, even if you are in the top 30, there’s nothing to be proud about, after all, you can’t change what’s in your college examination form,” Tong Yang said cockily.

The matter of Rong Yue’s college form had always been a mystery and even the people that were close to her felt like this matter was something that would bite her in the back.

As for the ones that Tong Yang had successfully roped in, all of them nodded their heads as they attached Rong Yue.

“No matter what, you can only go to a school in this province, it doesn’t matter if you are in top thirty since you won’t be going beyond the province,” another girl said fanning the flames.

“And why are you so sure of the school I would be going? Did I discuss my admission choice with you?” Rong Yue asked the girl that just spoke up.

Not realizing that Rong Yue was pulling her into a trap, her gaze still remained provocative as she spoke back, “You don’t need to tell me, this is something that Tong Yang saw herself, she even promised to get her uncle in that college to take care of you,”

“Ohhh, there’s that too? Why don’t I know of this?” Rong Yue asked, her expression was entertaining as it had a look of someone that was watching a drama making everyone in the class curious about where the matter was going.

“Rong Yue, you don’t have to pretend and hide so much out of embarrassment, my uncle would still help you have an easy time in the province college, there’s nothing to be ashamed about,” Tong Yang said as she felt like Rong Yue was being pretentious.

In the last months, even though she felt like strangling her she had left Rong Yue alone, as she slowly cultivated herself.

She was determined to show Rong Yue that beyond being brilliant, background was also very important. For her, the day of payback was going to come when they had to go to college and Rong Yue went to the college that she had picked.

She had even told her uncle in advance so that he could ‘take care’ of her when she eventually resumed.

“Embarrassed? Why should I be embarrassed? Did you perhaps see my college admission form?” Rong Yue asked her curiously, but deep down, she wondered how her old self was allowed to fall tricks to her plan.

Although one had to admit that she wasn’t being easy on herself, after all, in her past life, she had kept Tong Yang beside her for ten years and the girl had increasingly grown evil and made sure that other than her, there was no one left in her circle.

Now, she was still too naive to fight with the Rong Yue that had the mind of an adult.

“Are you saying that you aren’t going to the school I recommended?” Tong Yang asked as her heart skipped a beat at the thought of things not going her way.

“Hmmm, you recommend doesn’t mean I have to follow your advice right? After all, won’t it be stupid of me as the top scorer to follow the advise of a student that isn’t even getting middle grades in the same class?”

“Rong Yue!” Tong Yang growled loudly as she stood up.

“You don’t have the right to insult me! Other than your brain, you have nothing else,” she added as her body shook from the anger.

“What school did you put?” She asked again, determined to get to the bottom of the matter.

“And just because you ask, I must answer?” Rong Yue’s brows cocked upwards as she looked down at Tong Yang condescendingly.

She stood up from the table she had been leaning on, allowing her full height and her long legs to show, “let me tell you one last time, you, are, not, worthy!”𝐟𝒓𝚎𝘦we𝐛𝐧𝐨vℯ𝚕. c𝘰m
