92 You Finally Dare To Show Your Face

As reluctant as everyone in the Wang family was, after telling them that her mother was alone back in city A, they were more understanding and allowed her to go.

Rong Yue took her leave the next day in the morning, not needing the help of Wang Lei to escort her anymore.

After her conversation with Qin Yichen last night, she was even more eager to leave before he could pay another visit to the Wang family, after all, deep down, Rong Yue knew that she couldn’t look away from him.

From her first day back here, to all the significant moments she had in this new life, he had always found a way to be there.

It was hard to block such a person out of her heart completely and she was trying her best not to make the same mistake like she once had.

The flight was short and as soon as she got down from the airport, she saw a placard raised up with her name which made her brows crinkle in confusion.

She was certain there was no one that knew that she was coming home, which meant that it could be for another Rong Yue.

With that thought, Rong Yue walked past the man, however, Lu San who had been keeping an eye on her since she stepped down immediately ran after her, discarding the placard.

“Miss Rong, your ride is here!” He exclaimed as soon as he caught up with her.

.....

“I don’t recall ordering for a ride, who are you?” Rong Yue asked even as she saw that he was the person that had been accompanying her all these while.

“Forgive my manners, master asked me to take you home and help you around the city till he returns,” he said hurriedly, scratching his head in embarrassment.

Rong Yue looked at him for a while, she was surprised that despite her movement, Qin Yichen was able to tell that she would leave this early enough to have someone wait here for her.

Clearly, he was simply telling her that even though she didn’t agree to being his woman, he wasn’t giving up, neither was he planning to let go.

She sighed and then released the hold of her luggage to Lu San that was already holding on tightly to it.

“Let’s go,”

Lu San sighed in relief as he rushed to the exclusive car that Qin Yichen had asked him to start using for their future young miss.

Previously, the only instruction had been to follow her around, but after last night where Qin Yichen clearly asked him that he was to assist and protect that future miss openly, he clearly didn’t dare to slack.

This was their future miss!

“You finally dare to show your face after a month of sneaking around?” Rong Yue spoke up as the car drove out of the airport and it took Lu San every bit of control to not slam the brakes in shock.

Somehow, he had always suspected it that it was very possible that Rong Yue knew she was being tailed, like the day he had followed her to the Dark Rose, however, since she has never said anything, he had imagined that it was just in his mind.

Now, she just said it directly!

He looked through the rearview mirror at Rong Yue that had leaned her head back and had her eyes closed and decided to say nothing also, after a while, he got to the estate.

As he turned to inform her that they were there, Rong Yue already opened her eyes and opened the door.

“If he asked you to follow me around, then you can make yourself useful by getting lunch and dinner for the three of us,” she told him as she grabbed her luggage from the car trunk before he could get there.

“The three of us?” Lu San asked confused as he wondered who the third person is.

“Aren’t you a person?” Rong Yue asked as her eyes danced with mirth that immediately made Lu San to flush in embarrassment.

Without another word, he dashed into the car and drove off.

Clearly, the task of watching the future young miss was definitely not going to be an easy one.

As for Rong Yue, she carried her bag upstairs all by herself. Initially, she had thought to reject him and send him back to Qin Yichen.

But after thinking it through, she realized that it was just at the right time, she currently needed to do a lot of things that went from setting up the traditional medicine business to her also setting up her own first stream of income.

Going to the capital had taught her exactly what she wanted to start with.

However, she also had exams and lacked man power. Since Qin Yichen was sending this one to her for free, she had no reason to refuse.

Besides, she was almost certain that knowing him, he wouldn’t even allow the young man the chance to leave making this the best solution.

As for Lu San, he was almost crying inside as he drove to the Yue restaurant that Qin Yichen always got Rong Yue’s meals from.

If he hadn’t seen her capabilities in the painting and technology field, perhaps he might have some prejudice or grudges at how she had sent him forth like that. But after knowing what she could do at her age, he was totally willing to do what he could do to please her on behalf of their master.

In his mind, he already imagined that both Qin Yichen and Rong Yue were in a mutually agreed upon relationship.

“Yue’er!” Rong Xia’s voice was filled with excitement and a myriad of emotions as she threw herself into her daughter’s embrace.

Since they barely had enough to eat and with how good she was with herbal medicine, her figure was only slightly different from Rong Yue’s own and was even weaker since Rong Yue trained every day to strengthen her bones.

“I missed you,” she confessed, tightening her hands around her daughter.

“Me too, are you sure you won’t come along with me when I go to college?” Rong Yue teased as she pulled back and looked at her mother.

Although she was the older one, Rong Xia’s eyes had pulled up with tears already which made Rong Yue’s heart ache also.

Clearly, the three days of her being away had really been hard on her mother and yet, she had forced herself to sound like all was okay over the phone.

Not only that, she had also pushed her off like she was not going to be affected when Wang Lei came back.

“Hmmm, I’ll be preparing my mind, this time, I was not expecting it,” Rong Xia said honestly and then pulled her to the sofa to sit while she carried the luggage inside.

From the moment she had given birth to Rong Yue, she had understood something, the little one was a part of her and was her family. Regardless of anything that happened over the years, they would both be together when the night fell either hungry or happy.

This was the first time that she was away from Rong Yue.

“You came back alone? What of your master and how did the competition go?” Rong Xia asked all at once as she got back from keeping the luggage away.

“I already asked someone to bring us lunch and dinner so that you don’t have to cook, let me tell you about everything one after the other,” Rong Yue said as she went inside the room to change into more comfortable clothes.

After that, she spent the entire morning telling her mother about how she had met Master Wang Shu to how everything had gone in the capital.

She also told her what the capital looked like and was slightly surprised to see her mother not being surprised when she described all of those things.

By the time it was noon, the door bell rang and Lu San came in with three large thermo boxes of food.

“Why did you get so much?” Rong Yue asked as she closed the door behind him before helping him offload the boxes.

“Master said you must have missed it and I needed to get more than enough so you can satisfy your cravings,” Lu San said, skipping out on the part where he had also considered that if she didn’t have enough, then there wouldn’t be enough food for him to eat.

“Mother, this is Yichen’s friend, he would be staying with us for the main time as he doesn’t have a place to stay, also, he would be helping me with the setting up of the warehouse and flagship store so it’s going to be easier if he stays here,” she explained to Rong Xia who was looking at Lu San suspiciously.

Although, he was doing his best to appear normal and not threatening, it was hard to not see that faint aura of danger that he carried.

“As long as you trust him,” Rong Xia said with a sigh, closing the matter.

As for Lu San, he was very sure that his master would kill him if he slept in here with them, but he also didn’t want to correct Rong Yue in front of her mother and so he stood there without a word.
