95 Imperial Jade

The store she entered was completely deserted and even two of the workers had their head on the wooden table and were sleeping.

“Welcome! How can we help you?” A girl rushed to stand from a cuboid makeshift counter that she was sitting, it was clear to see that she was the accountant.

“I’m here to buy raw stones,”

“Really!?” The girl exclaimed, shocked and it was only after some seconds that she realized that her reaction was off.

“Sure, sure! You are are in the right place,” she hurriedly added. As for the other two, they had woken up starlted from her loud voice.

From the looks on their faces, it was clear to see that they didn’t expect to have any customers and even Lu San looked at Rong Yue as he tried to communicate to her with his eyes.

This store didn’t seem like it would have any stone that was good.

“Are these all your stones?” Rong Yue asked, glancing around the medium sized store and one of the two that had been sleeping rushed to reply.

“We have more stones inside, however, their prices are slightly higher than this as our store experts have selected them to have higher chances than the ones out here,” the young man replied honestly and Rong Yue also nodded in understanding.

“I’ll look through here first and then check those later,” without wasting anymore words, she went ahead to start looking through the stones.

Lu San followed her closely behind with one of the huge metals carts that had been stacked together by the wall in the store.

After picking ten stones from the first section, Rong Yue pointed at two and ordered that they used their store’s cutter to help her cut it.

Originally, she had no intention of cutting it here, but after looking at the tragic condition of their store and how sincere their workers were, she decided to give them some free publicity.

The cutting guy finished with the first one and the disappointment that moved through the room was even greater than before.

However, the guy started with the cutting of the second one,

Rong Yue stood on the side, looking through her phone while the workers started with the cutting.

“Ahhhh! There’s a flash of green!” The cutter exclaimed, pausing the machine as he turned the slightly opened stone to show Rong Yue the light that was gleaming it from it.

“Hmm, that’s okay, cut it more carefully,”

After about twenty minutes, the guy had finished with the cutting and the fist sized Jade sat on the table shining brightly.

From its luster and quality, she could already guess that it wasn’t some high quality Jade, however, it was also better than mid level grade and would still sell at a decent price.

“Cut these other two also, let’s see what’s inside them,” she said and then signaled for Lu San to take the piece of jade that they gotten already.

Lu San sighed as he looked at Rong Yue’s nonchalant expression. Clearly, when it came to their future young mistress, he couldn’t dare to underestimate her for even one minute of the day.

“Lu San, I just got a message from Song Jain, he says that the equipments have just arrived,” she said, looking up from her phone.

It was almost like the matter of cutting an emperor jade was nothing of a big deal.

“I’ll check it as soon as I drop you off at home,” almost as soon as he talked, four men entered the store and bowed to Lu San respectfully.

“Carry the stones here to the base, I’ll pick it up when I drop by, also, none of the stones must change.” He said sternly and the four of them nodded and then lifted the baskets of stones away.

As for the girl that had rushed out of the store earlier, she rushed in with three more people, however, Rong Yue also noticed from the corner of her eyes that people seemed to be rushing here also, since she was prepared to give them free publicity, she also didn’t mind and just walked toward the man cutting.

“Can you hurry a bit more,”

“Young miss, are you the customer that cut the emperor’s jade from our store?” A man that seemed to be in his late fifties asked as he looked at the Jade on the table and then at Rong Yue.

“Boss, you have confirmed that it’s the Emperor’s Jade?” The cashier girl asked, interrupting him and the man nodded eagerly.

“Didn’t they say this store has no jade? How did someone manage to cut the imperial jade from here?” Someone asked in a rather loud voice and many other nodded in agreement.

They had stayed away and yet, someone had come here and picked such a Jade with no struggle, it was of course normal that they felt cheated.

“Look another one is being cut, let’s see what happens,” someone exclaimed and everyone sobered up, looking at the dim green light that was peeking through.

Before long, their curiosity was satisfied, as the stone finally cut through and the green luster of the jade shone brightly in the dim store.

“Emperor Jade again!!”

“Shit, how did we miss out on this store?” Someone exclaimed and several others that were quick action takers immediately started looking through the stones that had began to gather dust in the store.

Several people also approached Rong Yue with the intention of getting her to sell her stones but she was firm on her decision.
