Chapter 666: 13.31 - A Never Ending Story

’Maybe she is cursed like me,’ Nathaniel shook his head. ’If she was cursed why did she still sleep around knowing they would die? Wasn’t that cruel of her?’

Looking deeper behind her actions did him no good, ’Why is she trying to protect this world?’

The more he thought about her, the more he saw a savior of the world hidden behind a facade of a villain and a heartless murderer.

’Why is she still acting like a villain when her intentions are obviously good?’

He was tempted to ask her, but then she’d think he was interested in her. He didn’t want to give her the satisfaction.

’The ship!’ Nathaniel dashed in the direction of the ship in realization, ’She better not leave me here!’

She obviously didn’t love him, so why act like she did when it did her worse than good? Did she have no respect for herself at all? Or did she do it so he would be disgusted by her and keep his distance?

Nathaniel’s feet moved faster than his thoughts, and before long, he found himself on the deck of the ship.

The captain’s chair moved to face him, a woman in a black cloak seated in it. Surrounded by her crew, she looked like a villainess from a storybook. Shina Night.

"Thank you for bringing a ship to us, you have been very useful," her lips curled up, revealing her canine teeth, "Now, we must part ways, for I have many worlds to explore and conquer!"

Nathaniel fisted his palms when Victor moved to stand in front of him, blocking his way to her in protection, betraying him in blink of an eye.

"You too?" Nathaniel asked, his gaze freezing.

Victor smiled, shaking his head, "Sorry," he said with his usual charm, "You are a great friend, but..."

"Are you abandoning your daughter and Elera just like that?"

Victor’s expression turned somber, "I’m not abandoning them," he clarified, "Just owe Shina a favor or two, and helping her out," he explained.

His smile returned, but it seemed fake. He didn’t want Nathaniel to continue to dig into it. That would be too lame of him. He would rather be seen as a traitor than to admit what was really going on.

Nathaniel took a step back, his standing suddenly falling from a high to the lowest of the low, and it was all her fault.

He had no chance to win against her in current state, so he decided to leave before it got more humiliating, keeping his dignity intact.

"How the mighty have fallen," her laughter echoed from behind his back in provocation, "There’s nothing I hate more than an ice cold cucumber. They are so bland, cold and tasteless. You can’t blame me for trying to heat you up a bit."

"You’ve done the opposite, making me cold enough to want to freeze you solid," Nathaniel said, glancing over his shoulder, smiling in a mocking way, "You know what happens to frozen eggs?"

She tapped her chin, thinking about it for a moment, "They become popsicles?"

"They crack," he corrected her, and a cold wind rushed through her.

She shivered as her breath became visible. The cold seeped deep into her bones of everyone in her crew.

The bindings around Nathaniel’s body tightened, making him unable to use full power, but once they were gone, he would make sure the temperature would drop below zero, and she would beg him to warm her up.

Her laughter echoed fearlessly through the halls of the ship, her voice was like that of a siren, not the least bit bothered by becoming his enemy.

’She really likes to play on hard mode, doesn’t she?’ Lu Kai couldn’t help but feel amused by her antics.

No matter how undesirable she wanted to paint herself to be, there would always be a side of her that would be irresistible to the right person.

Nathaniel Hauxley was a prime example of: the more you push him away, the more he will be drawn to you, male lead type.

The more you rejected him, the more persistent he would be in trying to make you his. It didn’t matter if he loved you or not, possessiveness didn’t need love to take place.

He had shown no interest when Silvia Leclére pursued him, and even ended up killing her. But the moment she returned from the dead as Shina Night, who showed no interest in him at all, he suddenly had a change of heart.

These male leads were the same as the persistent villainesses who just didn’t know when to quit.

Bing Shi was ready to make this type of male lead feel what those villainesses felt, to give him a taste of his own medicine.

She had always wanted to do it, but her missions were always about saving those male leads, and she had to hold herself back. But now that her husband was giving her an opportunity to go all out, there was nothing stopping her.

’Against my will you made me what I am, and now you are going to find out just what that is,’ were their current thoughts.

They could no longer die and reincarnate, so this was a great replacement for their souls to continue growing.

A never ending story of love, hatred, and vengeance began that day.

Starring Shina Night as a transmigrated villainess trying to break her mate bond with the indifferent Nathaniel Hauxley, who would now do everything in his power to stop it from happening. While she was doing everything in hers to get rid of him.

Perfect recipe for a disaster, and a whole lot of spicy tension to come!
