Queen Mommy's Six Genius Babies Found the CEO Daddy-Chapter 120: The Unexpected
Afternoon.
Harper appeared at Morgan Group like a gust of trouble.
"Sophia."
Sophia’s brow twitched.
Harper showing up meant chaos followed.
"What are you doing here?"
"My brother’s here too. He’s here to talk business."
William hadn’t appeared in front of her for a long time.
Just then, the office door opened.
"William," Sophia greeted.
He had changed — sharper jawline, calmer eyes — but the look he gave her held something unreadable.
"Sophia," he said, voice steady, "I came to discuss a collaboration."
"Collaboration?" she blinked. "Last I checked, Morgan Group and Carter Group have never partnered."
But she couldn’t help thinking — was he here because she was here?
If so... what a nice little opportunity handed to her door.
She was trying to plan how to quietly bleed Morgan Group’s funds anyway.
"I have a restaurant expansion project," he explained, "and since Morgan Group has tourism assets, I thought it made sense to work together."
"William, I hope this isn’t just... impulse."
He could partner with anyone. He didn’t need Morgan Group.
"I’m very clear about what I’m doing. It’s not impulsive."
He remembered what she once said — she’d joined this family and this world for Aurora, for vengeance.
He believed she was simply biding her time.
He knew he was behind Lucas now — but losing the chance to help her?
Never again.
If it would benefit Sophia, he would partner. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
If it would help Sophia, he would give stocks.
If it could protect Sophia, he’d burn a kingdom for her.
"Alright," she said. "If you’re certain, then let’s schedule a time. We’ll bring both sides’ proposals and negotiate profit shares."
This office wasn’t the right place — too many eyes, too many cameras.
Andrew only needed to see William was planning to work with Morgan Group.
The rest? She’d maneuver herself.
William looked at her, eyes soft.
Sophia felt oddly seen — almost fragile — but brushed it off.
"Sophia," he asked gently, "want to take a walk?"
"Huh?" She blinked at him. "I’m still at work, William. Sorry."
"It’s almost the end of the day. I’ll wait."
Harper nudged in, "Sophia, go hang out with my brother. You two haven’t seen each other in forever. And you still owe me dinner, by the way."
Harper’s tactic was obvious — drag her out.
Sophia chuckled. "So you came just to make me treat you. Fine. William, Harper — wait outside. If I can finish early, we’ll go."
William was good to her — and he’d already let go romantically.
Helping him as a friend? That was fair.
Plus, going out might reveal more information to her.
A few minutes later, Paul stepped in.
"Miss Morgan, are you heading out?"
"Secretary Smith," she said smoothly, "I’ve finished most of today’s work. I’ll review the rest tomorrow. I’m stepping out with William to discuss the project."
"Shall I accompany you?"
"No need. If the deal works, he’ll be back in a few days anyway. In the meantime, split the documents I just completed and organize them."
Paul nodded obediently — then left to report.
Sophia walked out of the building.
Paul couldn’t exactly follow her — all he could do was watch her leave.
Once in the car, she didn’t start it immediately.
Instead, she checked the interior carefully.
"Sophia, what are you doing?" William asked.
"Nothing," she replied casually.
Her car hadn’t been touched — no trackers, no bugs. Good.
William stared at her seriously.
"Sophia... why did you go back to Morgan Group?"
"And why did you show up there today, William?" she countered lightly. "Same reason."
She started the engine and drove away.
They only talked once they were seated at a mall restaurant.
"You already guessed why I went back," she said. "William, I need your help."
"Say the word," he replied without hesitation.
"I’ll be blunt. I almost died in a car crash recently. Andrew ’saved’ me — or so I thought. Turns out, he staged the whole thing. Pretended to be wounded to guilt-trip me. He wanted me back at Morgan Group to use me — to pull in cooperation deals."
She gave him a calm smile, icy underneath.
"So I returned. But not to help him — to destroy him. I’m going to take every core document, every confidential asset, and then disperse every last cent of Morgan Group’s capital. When I’m done, Morgan Group — and Andrew — will have nothing."
If he hadn’t lied to manipulate her?
Maybe she would’ve spared a piece.
But he chose deception.
And now she would choose annihilation.
"And you coming today?" she added with a soft laugh. "That alone proves his little performance worked — he wanted you to follow me in."
William’s jaw tightened. "Tell me what you need."
"Simplicity," she said. "Morgan Group’s fashion division is good. I’ll design for them myself. I have resources. But I can’t hand them over directly — Andrew needs to believe I’m bringing value."
"So you want me to connect you with partners," he concluded.
"Yes. And the best target is Wright Group."
William frowned. "Wright Group?"
"They’re struggling right now. I plan to... help them struggle harder."
Nothing breaks a man like offering a lifeline — then letting him drown with it.
She wasn’t just dismantling Morgan Group.
She had other debts to collect.
As for Ethan...
Trump Family and Scott Family were tied together.
He needed a different trap.
William once cooperated with the Wrights — making him the perfect bridge.
He didn’t hesitate.
"Okay. I can do it."
Not I’ll try. Not let me see. But I can. A guarantee.
Harper, meanwhile, was happily stuffing meat into her mouth.
"She’s twenty-five and still single," Sophia said casually. "Shouldn’t we find her a date already?"
Harper choked instantly.
"Blind dates?" William scoffed. "She doesn’t need them."
Sophia blinked. "She doesn’t? That news to me."
"Remember Ryan?" William said.
"I remember," she nodded. She had even given Ryan one of her bank cards.
"He’s pursuing her. But my parents don’t like him — they think he’s sly.
And ironically, Harper doesn’t like him either."
"What?"
Sophia turned sharply.
"Harper, why didn’t you tell me?"
Ryan was one of her hidden cards!
