"Well... as he said" The leader spoke after the young man spoke.

"Oh. I commend your intelligence then. However, I don't see how that's any of my business. I'm just passing by after all. And why did you choose to see me anyway? I could be evil for all you know" Muku replied casually.

"You're right. Our situation doesn't concern you. And as for why we're here. It's because we know that our scouts would have long died if you wished. For it doesn't matter how well they hide in front of true power" The leader who seemed to become a bit more confident after noticing Muku's willingness to speak.

"Hmm. Makes sense. You still haven't told me why we're having this talk through" Muku replied.

"Ah. That... Well, you see. We have a request. I know we're strangers so I won't ask you to do it for free. We are ready to..." The leader was about to say what they offered. But Muku raised his hand to stop him.

"Wait wait. Before telling me what you're offering, don't you think you should tell me what you want help with first? Are you trying to trick me into doing something dangerous with a reward that seems good but actually isn't? I'll have you know. If you try to trick me, you will definitely regret it" Muku spoke in a slightly threatening tone.

"Gusty young man you have here. To speak so casually with strangers" Muku spoke in amusement while looking at the young man who looked to be around his age.

"Oh shut up Muku. I can't believe you still don't recognize your old friend. I'm really hurt. Were those years we played together at the orphanage worthless to you?" The young man suddenly had an outburst.

The leader and everyone from his group froze in fear. They all thought

{What is this bastard doing? Is he trying to get us killed?} Some even got ready to get beaten up if not killed.

After all, in an apocalypse with no laws, nothing was stopping Muku from doing whatever he wanted with them.

Unexpectedly, none of that happened. Instead, a look of realization appeared on Muku's face as he looked at the young man, followed by a broad smile.

"Hahaha, Matthew?! It's you right? Matt bro! How have you been? It's been so long bro, damn!" Muku spoke excitedly as he got up then gave the young man he called Matthew a tight bro hug.

"Tsk. You finally remembered you bastard" the young man confirmed Muku's

After that, the two started laughing together while recalling the past.

It turned out Matthew was Muku's one and only friend from his days in the orphanage.

They were inseparable in those days until Matthew got adopted.

After that Muku's many talents started showing. Then he went all over the place. From acting, singing, martial arts, dancing, and many more. Then eventually he quietly settled at the school as a teacher.

All before the age of 18. Anyway, because of their circumstances, the two had lost contact. They were also busy with their own things.

And they weren't the type of dudes to flip the world upside-down to find the other so...

It turned out the leader was actually Matt's adoptive father. The old man was usually quite reliable. He was just terrible in situations that involved people he viewed as being above him.

"Also who were those ladies and where did they go?" He added.

".... All of them?" Matt asked with a deadpan expression on his face.

"All of them" Muku replied. His smirk deepened.

Jealousy instantly appeared on not only Matt's face, but on the faces of all the dudes in his group.

Muku rejoiced. There was nothing that a man enjoyed more than showing off to other dudes. Whether it be women, gadgets, strength, or everything else in between.

"What do you mean all of them?" Suddenly a voice spoke from behind Muku.

It was Elsa who had come out of the embryo at that time.

"I ah... I meant all but one" Muku corrected himself in embarrassment.

"Lisa?" Elsa asked.

"All but two..." Muku corrected himself again.

He thought of Lisa as his at least. But he dared not admit it yet. She was still too new to the group. If he rashed it, she might be disliked by the others.

"Hahahaha. I knew it. There is no way you have so many girls even if you're stupidly good-looking. That's just impossible" Matt spoke while laughing.

He finally felt a bit better about himself.

"You do know I still have like 8 right? How many do you have?" Muku asked with a sour look on his face.

Elsa had completely ruined his aura farming moment.

"Of course I have some too. I have... one. But I will definitely get more and surpass you!" Matt defended himself.

"You'll what?" A pretty lady from his group suddenly asked.

"Hahaha," Muku laughed. And he laughed the hardest as the last one.

After that, the two friends became a bit awkward in their interactions. Which was understandable as they were both embarrassed by the two girls.

But it didn't last long. Dudes were generally shameless anyway.

"So Elsa. Why are you here?" Muku finally asked the little ancestor who had casually embarrassed him.

"Emily told me to tell you to come for dinner..." Elsa replied in a calm voice as always.

At that point, she had definitely replaced Layla as the group's coldest person.

After all, Layla has been getting warmer for a while now. Especially recently since that encounter with Muku and their movie nights.

"Too late. Are you all still taking?" Emily appeared beside Elsa and spoke.

"No, we're done here. But I'd Ike to invite a few more people to dinner. Is that okay?" Muku replied.

As for why she didn't mind. Well, she didn't need to prepare more food. After all, they'd be eating R5 meat as the main dish. One bite was enough for all the weak people Muku was inviting so there was no trouble at all.

"Great! Matt, are you and your people free for dinner?" Muku turned his attention to Matt.

"He's free. He and his wife Jane. You can go with them right now. The rest of us need to get back. I hope you come to our home for dinner next time" The leader named Josh spoke before Matt could.
