Raising A Few Wives in a Beast Apocalypse-Chapter 506: First R6 battle

The following day...

As expected, Matt's people were more than happy to move into the embryo and live a stable life under Muku.

Since Muku credited every member of his group, as always, they all got some belief energy.

At the same time, Raya took the blood essence route with them as she did with the ones before them and got a major boost in her KP. Honestly, she had enough to try for a breakthrough.

But of course, she wouldn't do such a thing before reaching as far as she could within the R6 rank.

Muku and the others weren't too far behind with their steady flow. So everything was going well for the group.

Anyway, with those matters taken care of. They finally took off to sea. This time it was for real instead of the previous minor exploration.

They didn't fly in the sky. Instead, they traveled in an air bubble Elsa created. It practically cut through the water.

They could easily go months without breathing, but that didn't mean that they liked it.

As humans, they were used to it after all.

Around an hour later they found their first R6. Everyone was pretty excited.

It was their first R6 since they evolved. And it was just a LR6 one too. Perfect for newbies like them.

Now they just had to decide who would fight it.

It was a huge megalodon-like beast with thick arms and legs just casually prowling the oceans.

They had stacked their concealment techniques, so they couldn't sense them at all.

Maybe if it had been cautious, it would have sensed something. But it wasn't.

Anyway, while the others were doing rock-paper-scissors to decide on who went first, Raya disappeared.

She had waited way too long for this. While she was lazy, her beastly nature still required hunting from time to time after all.

So with her terrible luck, she couldn't risk this chance.

The others could have easily reacted but they chose not to.

After thinking about it, they felt she deserved to take this one. She had taken care of them for too long.

And who dared get in Raya's way when she wanted to hunt? She normally didn't like such things after all.

Anyway, her tiny body appeared beside the beast's eye instantly.

Before it could react, she held her hand out and then...

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

She hit it in the eye with a light blast. This wasn't just to blind it with light, but to blind it by destroying the whole eye. Hell, it might even destroy the brain too, and end the fight.

Oddly enough, the megalodon-like beast that Chloe decided should be called Kong Meg, dissolved into the water instead of having its eye turn into bloody paste. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Raya disappeared from her spot. Immediately after, a huge water spear flew by.

The King Meg had appeared a distance away. Completely uninjured with anger blazing in its eyes.

Yeah, it was way harder to take out an R6 even for Raya.

And that was when she ambushed it too.

Then again, R6 wasn't a rank any randos could reach. So it was understandable if all of them were difficult to deal with.

The fact that Raya managed to get close even by using space travel was already amazing.

Anyway, Raya appeared in the opposite protection of the King Meg.

The two looked at each other for a second then...

"Are you seeking death, Dragon Child?" The Meg spoke in a deep voice full of anger.

"And who said I'm the one who's going to die?" Raya spoke as she shed her human skin and took on her massive dragon form.

The two monsters looked at each other silently again. Then...

"Die then" The Meg spoke the the water around Raya compressed around her trying to crush her in place.

At the same time, the Meg opened its mouth and started gathering energy. Clearly trying to end it as soon as possible.

Which was understandable, who knew if another R6 was close by. They might take advantage if the fight took too long.

It was a very common thing.

What the Meg didn't know was that Raya had a whole team behind her...

"ROOOOOOOOOAR" The energy blast that looked like it was made out of boiling water flew toward Raya who was seemingly still trying to free herself from the water locking her in place.

In no time at all, it had appeared in front of her.

However, just then, what looked like a light purple portal appeared in front of her.

All of the energy blast was sucked inside. Then another one appeared behind the meg.

BOOOOOOOM!

An explosion rang out.

It didn't take long to clear up though.

This revealed the meg which was completely unharmed.

"Do you really think you can use my own power against me? If that's all you've got you might as well drop dead and let me eat your meat" The Meg taunted.

Its words were valid though. If you were R6 and still don't have total control of your power, then you're wasting your time.

Of course, a few out there didn't. But they were so few they might as well not exist. That's how skilled the average R6 was.

Raya didn't say anything back. She didn't expect it to work anyway. She was just trying out new moves.

Speaking of which, she had recently learned how to change the colour of her space element. And she really liked purple, so that became its official colour.

Anyway, black energy seeped out of her body and all the water restraining her was instantly pacified.

Yeah, she wasn't really trapped before.

"Hmm. Maybe I should start putting a little effort into this. You seem worth it" Raya finally spoke.

Then one of her eyes turned pitch black and the other pure white.

"Yin-Yan Destruction..." She declared.

The whole world seemed to lose its color and turn black and white. Then...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Millions of kilometers of the ocean were suddenly wiped out. Leaving behind a single hole that was visible from space.

Muku and the girls had long retreated into the embryo. How could they not when Muku was connected to Raya and knew what she was planning?

The damned brat liked. Bow was that "being a bit more serious" when she pulled out her best move and barely restrained it?

The attack was so devastating that she herself had to hide in a space pocket.

Of course, the poor Meg and millions of other ocean dwellers were taken out.

Hopefully, there weren't any humans in the area... pfft, like Raya would care if there were.

Fortunately, the planet was pretty resilient or who knows if that attack would have broken it.

It was already healing and generating water. It seemed it had become more proactive in keeping its "life" in recent times.

In the past, it would have taken around a month or more for everything to be fixed, but now, it only took seconds.

Fortunately, Raya wasn't always fighting or it would have definitely been working overtime...

Raya looked at the destruction she caused with a slightly embarrassed look. She didn't expect that it would be so disastrous actually.

And she had been truthful when she said she was only using a little bit of power.

That attack was at most 15 percent of what it could have been. And the space element wasn't even in the mix yet.

This is why R6s were certified planetary beings. Or star level if the planet hadn't evolved.

Anyway, she decided to never be so careless next time.

She looked at the spot the Meg was before.

Surprisingly, it was still there. In a hideous and completely mangled state, but there nonetheless.

It looked at Raya with it's remaining eye as the other one had been destroyed along with that section of its face.

"Y...You... Lied" It spoke in an aggrieved tone then died.

"I didn't okay! I just didn't expect to be so strong..." Raya retorted despite knowing that the beast was already dead.

She then licked her lips, swam forward, and began eating merrily.

So what if she just killed millions? That didn't mean that she had to starve herself right?

Muku and the girls appeared soon after and saw her enjoying her meal.

They looked at her with deadpan expressions. Muku had seen what she did in her memories then showed it to the others.

So even if it looked like she barely did anything now. They knew that it was anything but that. Not to mention the residual energy in the air.

Not to mention the absence of any other creature within millions of kilometers around them.

"What?" Raya asked innocently.

"Don't what me you brat. You know what you did!" Muku angrily retorted.

"Ey, it's not my fault my opponent was weak and I didn't know how strong I am. These things happen" Raya defended herself.

"Well, she's not wrong. And now we can at least say that her power is definitely above LR6... maybe even MR6. I'm truly jealous of her talent" Audrey chimed in to diffuse the situation.

"Yeah. Anyway, let's get away from here. Who knows how many creatures this one summoned" Muku spoke tiredly and led everyone away after Raya finished her meal.

A message suddenly rang out in everyone's minds.
