Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 45 Send Her Back to the Hotel
Chapter 45 - 45 Send Her Back to the Hotel
Lily Turner stretched a hand into her bag, unable to break free or run away. As Easton Holmes was distracted opening the door, she took out the pepper spray she had stored inside and gripped it tightly, just in case.
"Huh? Why did the door suddenly open?"
As she stepped out, Lily suddenly recalled how she couldn't open the door earlier. She had suspected Easton was up to something, and now seeing this, she was one hundred percent sure he had been behind it.
Easton chuckled, "This door lock must really fear me."
This was purely a joke. How a lock is used depends on the owner's settings. Since he'd set it up himself, he naturally knew all the features of the lock.
Lily was unaware of all this. She naturally assumed Easton had done it on purpose.
At this moment, she felt a chill down her spine. If she hadn't accidentally sprained her ankle, prompting him to show some pity, she shuddered to think what might have happened.
She decided she should interact less with people like him. She simply wasn't equipped to handle it.
After exiting the apartment building, Lily thought about leaving and was just about to tell Easton when she suddenly saw Luke Crowe standing by the car door. She quietly closed her mouth that had just opened.
With a third person around, he shouldn't do anything.
"Boss!"
Seeing Easton and Lily approaching, Luke opened the rear passenger door with practiced ease, making it easy for them to get in.
Lily was about to walk to the front seat, but before she could lift her foot, Easton had already forcefully helped her into the car. As she was reacting, he had already shut the door.
This man was something else!
Under Lily's dissatisfied gaze, Easton got in from the other side. Once they were both in, Luke swiftly got in too, ready to drive off as ordered.
"Where should I take you?"
"The Heart Shore Hotel!"
"Drive!"
After a brief exchange with Lily, Easton ordered Luke to drive. Though Lily spoke softly, Luke in the front seat heard her clearly.
The engine roared to life, and they drove away.
"You're staying at a hotel?"
After the car had driven for a while, Easton suddenly turned towards Lily. She was seated facing the window, and he could only see her back.

Lily replied facing away without turning her head back.
Easton stared at Lily's back for a long while before slowly turning back around. He leaned against the seat and closed his eyes, pretending to sleep.
The three of them busied themselves with their own thoughts, not talking to each other. The car became unusually quiet, but because they were all so focused on their own activities, the atmosphere wasn't awkward.
After speeding along for over forty minutes, the car pulled up in front of the Heart Shore Hotel.
"Thank you for bringing me here."
After expressing her gratitude, Lily immediately got out of the car and headed straight into the hotel without any pause.
Easton lowered the car window, watching the silhouette gradually fade into the distance. Only when it disappeared from his sight did he pull back his gaze.
"Tell your sister not to mention to anyone what happened tonight." The person who came to check on Lily's foot earlier, Emma Crowe, was Luke's sister; Easton still felt uneasy and reminded Luke specifically.
