200 Reinforcement

Alan could only estimate that there were at least one or two thousand undead that had successfully infiltrated the garrison's defenses. As for the horde outside the walls, there were roughly three thousand of them, scattered and straggling sporadically. This advantageous dispersion allowed Alan and his group to forge a path closer to the wall.

Their primary objective was to reach the Bangkok server's cavalry units, who found themselves encircled and besieged outside the protective walls. Amid the chaotic battlefield, Alan spotted the young veteran Chatri and his three dozen men, making a valiant last stand, with half of them already dismounted and fallen.

With urgency in his voice, Alan issued orders. His team, comprised of skilled fighters, along with the fey warriors, moved swiftly and with precision. "Attack!!"

Alan's reinforcements arrived with a storm of bullets and fiery fireball explosions conjured by the legendary NPC Merlin. This devastating assault swiftly claimed the lives of dozens of undead creatures and effectively diverted the attention of the hundreds of zombies surrounding the beleaguered young veteran and his remaining troops.

"We came to help!" Alan's voice rang out above the chaos as his group of fey warriors surged forward, their weapons cutting down the undead horde with precision.

The young veteran, badly wounded and exhausted, managed to plead for assistance through labored breaths. "Mister… Alan… Please… help my general..."

Understanding the dire situation, Alan quickly divided his forces. Some would stay behind to secure the immediate area and reinforce the surviving Thailand players, while the rest would follow him to scale the wall.

With his enhanced agility and strength, Alan was capable of making a 5-meter-high leap to reach the top of the wall, while some of his companions required a helping hand. Fortunately, the fey warriors, with their formidable D+ abilities, possessed the agility necessary to accomplish the same feat.

Fifty fey warriors, including Alan's most skilled allies, accompanied him as they raced toward the battle unfolding on top of the wall and at the garrison below.

Alan led the charge, his remarkable speed propelling him forward, with Daniel and Merle close behind. Merle provided covering fire with his trusty M16, while Daniel swung his axe, cleaving through skeletons and clearing a path for their advance.

Alan's heart raced as he and his group sprinted through the chaos of the garrison. The sound of gunfire, clashes of steel, and the unearthly groans of the undead surrounded them, creating a cacophonous symphony of death. The stench of decay hung heavily in the air as they pushed forward.

The once-imposing Roman architecture was now marred by destruction, with sections of the walls reduced to rubble. Fires blazed in some areas, casting eerie flickering shadows, while the darkening sky above added to the atmosphere of impending doom.

Amidst the chaos, the two Abominations rampaged with impunity. These grotesque creatures tore through the ranks of defenders, their massive forms and monstrous strength making them formidable foes. A few brave Thai players continued to hold their ground, fighting valiantly against the undead onslaught, while others had begun to retreat.

Alan was acutely aware that the garrison, now ravaged by the Abominations and the undead onslaught, had been rendered ineffective as a defensible position. Moreover, being the easternmost wall, it would likely be the last to receive reinforcements from the central command. Alan came to the grim conclusion that they needed to abandon this location.

Racing forward for about 200 meters, Alan spotted a familiar figure in the midst of the battle. It was Singdal, the Thai martial artist whom he had met during the early stages of the round. The man's face was etched with determination and exhaustion as he led a small group of fighters.

"Singdal!" Alan called out to him.

His eyes widened in recognition as he saw Alan approaching. Despite the chaos around them, there was a sense of camaraderie between the two players who had faced challenges together before.

Singdal, now revealed to be one of the unit captains of the military forces, recognized Alan and quickly conveyed information about the general and their dire situation. Alan wasted no time instructing Singdal and his men to fall back toward the west, but Singdal staunchly refused.

"I must save the general!" Singdal declared.

Alan, understanding the urgency and the need for unity, agreed. "Alright, let's find him together, and then we retreat together!"

With Singdal's assistance, Alan managed to gather all the Thai players they encountered, and together, they rushed toward the garrison. Their desperate search for information led them to a player who had knowledge of the general's whereabouts

—he was trapped inside one of the guard towers, a tower that was currently under assault by one of the Abominations.

As they approached the tower, Merle and Rose swiftly took aim and fired at the towering monstrosity, targeting its critical areas. Their well-aimed shots caused the Abomination to howl in agony and divert its attention momentarily.

Alan seized this opportunity and turned to Singdal. "Get to the general! We'll keep the giant distracted."

The creature's enraged roar echoed through the garrison as it turned its massive form toward Alan and his group.

"Over here, you ugly monster!" Alan taunted, drawing the Abomination's wrath.

Just like when facing the Dreadnought earlier, the creature's HP bar became visible to Alan. Seeing it at the 30% mark filled him with a newfound determination. He knew they could defeat this B-rank creature, but it would require all of their skill and teamwork.

The massive Abomination swung its heavy mace with tremendous force, but Alan's agility was his advantage. He executed a swift [lunge strike], dodging the swinging mace and closing the distance between them for his first strike.

[Stabbing: Inflicts 68 damage]

The creature's formidable defense and high HP made it a challenging foe, but Alan wasted no time. He followed up with a rapid combo of [Shadow Strike] and [Blade Frenzy], landing a critical hit and benefiting from a sneak attack bonus, which granted him an additional five strikes. In mere seconds, Alan had dealt a staggering 500 damage, chipping away at the Abomination's formidable 3,000 HP.

His [RingWraith Sword] also left a curse mark that weakened the creature's defense by 7% for his seven strikes. This curse boosted the attacks of Vicky and the others, but even with the defense debuff, Merle's firearm shots struggled to deal more than 20 damage per bullet.

When the giant retaliated, Vicky courageously held her ground, blocking with her Superior Shield, aided by her [Knight Spirit]. She managed to resist the majority of the creature's damage, limiting it to under 100 HP. But the sheer force of the Abomination's attack sent Vicky hurtling into the nearby wall, inflicting an additional 20 damage upon impact.
