Chapter 2064 Christos' Ambition

Joker's projection had a serious expression, however Sam who was controlling the projection saw the scene through the eyes of the projection had an expression of amusement.

He almost wanted to laugh out loud.

Christos, the big and noble Christos that could care less about half of the instructors in the Zeus Academy, is bowing down. However, Sam is not stupid enough to believe that this guy really did this in good conscience.

He is a selfish, arrogant, cunning and deceptive guy who will sell his own wife out if he could gain enough benefits, there is no way he will just bow down to Joker out of pure respect.

In his words, he is just acting shameless. He just wanted to fleece Joker clean and gain as much as possible.

The training plans joker showed him for the Grade 2 students in particular projected great results. Their cultivation speed and the speed of the breakthroughs will increase by at least ten folds. That means the breakthrough that should happen in ten years will happen within a year.

That is also one of the reasons that it will cost so much.

There is no way he can just let it go. He will fall on his knees and kiss joker's toe if he can get that training for free. Once he gets all the noble league kids that training, he will be recognized for his contribution in making this happen.

The achievements of the Noble league, the conquests, the rewards and the influence he can control once he graduates, he cannot help but feel thrilled just by the thoughts of it. He cannot let this opportnunity go.

He raised his head and looked at Joker who still had that serious expression.

Christos cursed inside his heart. How long does this old man need to make a decision.

"Sir, I know it is hard to trust me just based on my words, however please name any condition you have and give us a chance to prove that we will take your lessons and teachings seriously."

"Are you sure you can give that commitment? I am sure it is not going to be an easy thing to do."

"No problem, sir. Just name it."

"Okay then, I need everyone who joins this program to sign a special soul contract. The contract terms will be like this…." He started explaining the terms and Christos' facial expressions changed with every passing word.

Until now he acted like the great actor he is, but now he couldn't keep his calm and once the conditions are all recited, Joker spoke the last condition.

"The above conditions will all be null and void, if the students do two things. They need to pay a certain amount of Gold coins to me based on their level of cultivation and also they need to attend the lectures without missing a single one.

At least, if they want to miss, they need to have proper reason, like the realm competitions, or some expeditions, of course they will have some vacation days to take some rest now and then, but you get the point.

They cannot miss out on many sessions and they need to be compliant to all the requirements if they fail to give me the coins that I want and the sessions that I conduct.

If it is okay and they are ready to sign the contract, then we can proceed forward."

Christos left the Hub in a daze.

He didn't even remember how he went back to his dorm. However, after a while he shook his head and called for a meeting with all the Noble league members. Including the Grade 3 and some of the Grade 4 members.

He explained the situation with the Hub and what kind of terms Joker suggested.

One of the grade 4 students asked.

"Are you sure this guy is trustworthy? His conditions are not just offensive, they more brutal than the conditions offered to a surrendering countries in a war situation. This is crazy to say the least."

"I am sure we can trust him senior. I do believe that he is only making such an outrageous demand because he wants to make sure that not a single student goes back on their word.

He mentioned that he already experienced it first hand.

And he did give me the basic intro into the training plan, the equipment costs and material costs needed for it so that you could take a look and make a judgement after that."

Christos showed some documents and videos to the rest of them.

"Still, even if we can ignore the ridiculous conditions that he placed, since he we can guarantee that we will do everything in the list, the coins we need to pay him every week is still not small. We will have to be knee deep in the missions.

Our squad should take the lion's share in all the missions whether Academic missions or the Realm missions."

Another Grade 4 senior spoke.

Christos didn't speak immediately, he stayed silent for a few seconds.

"Secondary members, leave."

He spoke, there was a silence in the room for a while before more than eighty percent of people in the room stood up and left. Only twenty percent are left and Christos took the central position as he addressed.

"I think just from this gesture, you all understand that whatever I am going to say only considers the true elite of the Noble League. These minor families don't need to know.

As one of our seniors said, we will have to monopolize a huge portion of the missions in the Academy realm. It might have caused problem before, if we purely used our influence to do so.

But now, I think we should go for it.

We can all agree that we are the gods' true favorites. We are the real descendants that came from the teachings of the gods. Many of our lineages are blessed with the grandchildren of the gods and the Academic realm is our learning place.

You all must have heard the stories, when the Olympian region was established, the first generation of students are purely from our families. The Academy Deans at the time who were born to Gods directly didn't bother to take in the unworthy candidates even when they were facing a deficit in student numbers.

However, the later deans became weak and accepted the weak and unworthy just so that we can compete with the rest of the academies and attain some petty victories.

See what happened now?

The blood of peasants is reigning over us. They take our resources, our Academies and our gods' blessings, all of which are ours by birthright and now they are towering over us. We need to reclaim it back and this is the time.

We will use this training method to improve our strength. Not just ours but for the secondary league members as well.

We will raise them to be our best knights and we will make use of them to take control of this place back. We will not only monopolize the missions, we will do it openly and blatantly, we will punish and suppress whoever competes with us.

If they want to use the authorities of the Academy and realm, we will go to trial by combat. A specific set of people within our league that are extremely talented in that area will be trained to take these trials and we will destroy these trials.

We will not try to hide this, we will publicize this. We will make this into a spectacular event and we will make it known that the Olympian realm is back in the control of its rightful heirs.

I know it will take a lot out of us, but I also think this is our chance. We cannot let this go.

I understand that at start, it will be hard to handle all the expenses by ourselves, however based on my calculations it is actually not impossible to earn the number of coins required for everyone in our league from the First grade students to the fourth grade students to join this program.

I also have some special plans to earn coins from the other areas.

I can also talk a deal with Joker so that we, the primary nobles from the league will have the access to the data regarding the secondary nobles. We will gather, understand and discuss what route they should be developed into and how we can make most out of them.

This is the best opportunity for us."

His words moved a lot of seniors. The whole concept of Noble league, the core of it is based on the ego and elitism these kids were born into. They believe whatever Christos said wholeheartedly, the only problem is that they couldn't voice it out like him.

After some thoughts and back and forth, the majority of the group agreed and Christos' idea passed.

Sam looked at the whole fiasco from his room, lying on bed while munching on some snacks.

This went on better than he thought.
