Reawakening: SSS-Rank Villain's POV-Chapter 47: The Great StoneHall!
First one, then three, then dozens—each massive appendage clawing its way up from beneath the ground.
Lucian’s eyes widened slightly as he realized what was happening. "An ambush."
Titans erupted from the ground all around them, their bodies covered with dirt and stone dust.
They varied in size and form! Some barely ten meters tall, others towering at nearly twenty. Some moved on all fours like animals, while others stood upright. All shared the same mindless hunger in their eyes.
"Form up!" Lucian commanded, and his Blood Shadows immediately shifted positions.
The first wave of attacking titans charged without strategy or hesitation, they only craved Lucian’s blood! They crashed against Lucian’s Blood Shadows like - massive ocean wave against a crimson cliff.
Baltzer met the first attacker head-on, its hammer crackling with lightning as it swung upward.
"BOOM!!!"
The hammer slammed against the the titan’s jaw with such force that the creature’s head snapped backward at an impossible angle, nearly separating from its body.
Two of Lucian’s Blood Shadow Titans grabbed another titan, one seizing its arms while the other tore into its neck with savage efficiency. Steam erupted from the wound as the creature thrashed and struggled from their grip.
The behemoth Blood Shadow charged through three smaller titans, sending them flying like bowling pins before stomping one flat with its massive feet and in that instant, bones, blood and brain matter exploded to the surroundings like squashed water melon.
Lucian himself moved like a crimson blur among the chaos, Dragon Soul Devourer flashing through the chaos in a devastating strike.
Where his spear touched, titans flesh blood and bones would exploded with massive bangs.
"BANG!"
The ground exploded as he left several afterimages, leaping atop a smaller titan’s body as he used his charging momentum, thrusting his spear forwards.
The top of his spear glowed an intense orange color as sparks appeared from slicing through air resistance at multiple Mach speed!
"BANG!"
The creature barely had time to howl before its head exploded from within, spraying steaming gore across the battlefield.

Despite the ferocity of their defense, the numbers were overwhelming. For each titan they destroyed, two more seemed to crawl from the earth. Lucian’s Blood Shadows were taking damage—limbs torn off, flesh ripped away—though Lucian used his mana to regenerate them as quickly as they were injured.
Lucian spun to avoid a titan’s grasping hand, then launched onto its arm like an arrow. He ran up the limb, Dragon Soul Devourer trailing behind him to carve a deep wound as he went. When he reached the shoulder, he launched himself upward, spear pointed down as he launched the spear at its skull like a javelin.
The spear plunged downward with the force of a meteor strike, piercing through the titan’s skull and continuing through its body until it emerged from between its legs, splitting the creature nearly in half.

As the titan collapsed, Lucian landed amidst the chaos once more, his body trembling and his muscles as they grew even stronger. But even as he fought, he realized they were being pushed in a specific direction—herded through the valley toward some unknown destination.
It was a calculated move, one that spoke of intelligence far beyond these mindless attackers. Someone—or something—was directing this assault.
"We’re being pushed ," Lucian’s face changed slightly. "They’re leading us somewhere!"
However, there was no time to think even deeper into things he gritted his teeth and immediately made a choice. Rather than resist the flow, Lucian made a split-second decision. "Forward! Cut through them!"
His Blood Shadows immediately adjusted their formation, changing from a defensive circle to a spearhead with Baltzer and the behemoth Blood Shadow at its tip. They charged forward, smashing through the wall of titans like a bulldozer.
The valley narrowed further, the stone walls rising ever higher until they seemed to touch the sky itself. The path ahead was choked with titans, but Lucian’s forces carved through them relentlessly.
Blood rained down as they fought, creating slick crimson puddles beneath their feet. Steam filled the air as titan flesh disintegrated, creating a fog that limited visibility.
Through this mist, Lucian and his Blood Shadows pushed forward.
The ground began to slope upward sharply. They were ascending, climbing higher into what Lucian now realized was a mountain range. The titans continued to attack, but their numbers were thinning as the path narrowed.
After what seemed like an hour of continuous battle, the valley suddenly opened up into a massive circular plateau.
At the center of the circular plateau, a colossal stone hall had been carved directly into the mountain face could be seen. Its entrance was framed by massive columns, each easily fifty meters tall and ten meters in diameter.
The stone was incredibly ancient and old but were still sturdy.
The doors of the hall—if they could even be called doors—were slabs of stone as thick as three Lucian’s height combined!
"HSSSSS!"
Baltzer hissed in warning, drawing Lucian’s attention away from the structure. The remaining titans had formed a semicircle around them, cutting off retreat. But strangely, they weren’t attacking. They stood motionless, eyes fixed on the stone hall.
"They’re waiting for something," Lucian muttered, his grip tightening on Dragon Soul Devourer.
As if in response to his words, the massive stone doors began to move. No visible mechanism drove them, no hands pushed them open. They simply... shifted, stone grinding against stone with a sound like mountains collapsing.
The gap between the doors widened slowly, revealing absolute darkness within. Then, a tremor ran through the ground, followed by another, and another rhythmic, deliberate footstep.
From the darkness emerged titans unlike any Lucian had seen before.
These were not the mindless creatures Lucian had battled with previously. They seemed to follow some sort of orders and didn’t react. They were incredibly coordinated!
