Lucian’s body carved a trench through the stone floor as he skidded to a stop. His left arm had been completely shattered, hanging useless at his side while his ribs had been pulverized into bone fragments that pierced his lungs. Blood bubbled from his lips as he struggled to his feet, his regeneration already working to repair the damage.
