Chapter 125: This Is Your First Time

After a while, Aurora finally managed to escape from Tina, who was excited to hear about her progress with Alex.

Aurora felt uneasy seeing Tina’s happiness exceed her own.

Furthermore, knowing she would start sleeping with Alex today, the mere thought of being there again twisted her stomach.

’The kiss...’ Imagining their peculiar kissing stirred her blood to race through her veins. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

She was also pleased with the progress of her relationship with Alex, but it was likely as Aurora Spencer.

While she wasn’t certain, remnants of her past life prevented her from feeling entirely at ease about the changes in her relationship with Alex.

She still needed a little more time, but didn’t know how long she might have to wait.

...

When Aurora entered the dining room, she noticed Alex talking with Martin near the large glass window.

They appeared so engrossed in conversation that they failed to notice her presence.

She needed to clear her throat slightly to capture both of their attention.

"Aurora, you’ve finally come..." Alex greeted her with a smile as he hurried to assist her into her seat.

She was surprised to find herself sitting beside him instead of across from him.

With this change, her heart began to beat unusually faster once more. Still, she tried to calm herself and casually responded to Martin’s warm greeting.

Aurora began her breakfast peacefully, but as soon as Alex mentioned their sleeping arrangement again, her heart’s tranquility vanished instantly.

Alex shared that he had asked Tina and Martin to help move all her clothes to the master bedroom.

He also apologized for not being able to return for a week to accompany her. Still, he made a heartfelt promise to speed up his business abroad.

"Alex, I will be fine. There’s no need to rush your matter. Please focus on your business..."

Aurora reassured him soothingly as she tried to comfort him. She plays the role of a supportive wife, expressing concern for his worries, yet she truly needs time to adapt. His business trip can genuinely help her adjust.

She believed Alex would be impressed by her demure, but she was wrong. Suddenly, he stopped eating and looked at her seriously, signaling that his mood had shifted again.

’Oh no! Did I choose the wrong word again?’ Aurora let out a quiet sigh and innocently joined him to stop eating.

"Alex, why do you look angry?" she asked softly, staring at him with her worried gaze.

"Angry? Do I look angry?" he asked, a forced smile on his face that somehow prompted an inward chuckle from Aurora. She nodded deliberately, expressing her concern.

Alex cleared his throat slightly, patting her back lightly. "I’m not angry. But I notice you don’t seem to like moving into my room. Is it?"

Aurora returned his smile awkwardly before responding, "Well... To be honest with you, I like it, but I’m also, you know... nervous!"

"Is that why you’re glad I’m on a business trip?" he chuckled, shaking his head slightly as he imagined how she was sleeping.

’Did this little koala have any idea how chaotic her sleep actually was?’ Alex laughed, picturing her nestled against him as if he were her pillow.

"Hmm..." Aurora lowered her head, trying to hide her blush while scolding herself to remain calm and content before him.

However, she found it challenging.

She never dated a man in her previous life, and she shares similarities with this young girl, Aurora Spencer.

They are both terrible at romance, but Aurora Spencer seems to have a slight advantage because she has two crushes: Alex and Max.

What about her? She has none!

...

Alex was pleased to see her blush again.

’Wow! This girl is so predictable...’ he mused without stopping, gnawing his food.

He resumed his sentence nonchalantly a moment later, attempting to soothe her. "Take your time to adjust to sharing a room with me, Aurora. When I return, I hope you feel comfortable with your new role as my wife."

Aurora feels like the golden melon that has just entered her throat is stuck.

’Alex, can you please stop talking about it? I can feel myself getting warmer!’ She tries to steady her heartbeat while listening to him, but Alex keeps making her face flush like a boiling lobster.

He looked at her briefly before adding, "And, prepare yourself, we might... well, you know, do that..."

’Do what?’ she wonders, intrigued. His answer sparked her interest.

Aurora took a deep breath and looked at him. She needed a straightforward explanation, fearing she might have misunderstood him again.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

His smile blossomed as he casually said, "Do what husband and wife do on the wedding night!"

Instantly, Aurora felt her blood rushing to her face, again, making her cheeks flush with embarrassment.

She said nothing but swallowed, imagining their wedding night.

Silent!

But later, Alex spoke again, "I’m sorry, Aurora; how can I forget about it?" he lightly shook his head, a disappointed flash in his gaze.

’Okay, now what else?’ Aurora thought. She didn’t dare to ask him. This man is full of surprises with their wedding night plans.

Alex excitedly added, "Don’t worry about a thing, Aurora. I’ll take care of our honeymoon. Since this is your first marriage, I promise to make it unforgettable for you." He declared with enthusiasm.

’Heaven! Can you grant me the power to disappear? I truly need it...’ She felt an overwhelming urge to escape this situation.

As she listened to Alex enthusiastically discuss their wedding night and honeymoon, her thoughts began to drift into a sultry realm.

Not wanting to add anything to his plan, Aurora let Alex take charge. However, after a few minutes, it became clear that he would not stop discussing it.

’I need to stop him now, or my ears will be bleeding!’ She wondered.

After a brief moment, a smile formed on her lips as she looked at him.

"Alex, didn’t you mention you had an important meeting at the office this morning?"

Alex frowned, "Did I?" he asked.

’I can’t believe he forgot about it!’ She was at a loss for words.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. I’ve rescheduled my meeting with the board of directors." He smiled. "I still need to accompany you, so I’ll leave earlier, probably just before lunch."

Aurora, "...."
