Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate-Chapter 808: No Time
How could Ethan Seymour just let it go like this?
No one at the office? Fine, then let’s go to his home.
Ethan Seymour and James Reed made a beeline for Charles Seymour’s home, though of course the security guards stopped them.
After checking in with someone, they were finally allowed in.
"Charles Seymour, come out here!" Ethan Seymour started shouting as soon as he entered the villa.
"Please, can you have some decency and not cause such a ruckus?" Sophie Wilson descended slowly from upstairs, looking impatiently at Ethan Seymour, "You’re louder than a woman!"
"Sophie Wilson, I’m not wasting my breath on you. Bring Charles out!" Ethan Seymour didn’t care to talk to Sophie Wilson. What was she anyway? Was she even worthy of conversing with him?
"Don’t wanna talk to me, huh? Fine, then leave." Sophie Wilson scoffed with a laugh.
"Just because you tell me to go, I go? Who do you think you are?" Ethan Seymour sneered. Sophie Wilson was so audacious, where did she get the nerve?
"I am the owner of this house." Sophie Wilson said as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Even if you married in, you’d barely count as half an owner! You’re claiming to be the owner when you haven’t even married yet? Sophie Wilson, do you have no shame?" Ethan Seymour was infuriated by Sophie Wilson’s shamelessness, letting out a laugh.
Sophie Wilson looked at Ethan Seymour strangely and asked, "What does getting married have to do with being the owner? All of Mr. Seymour’s assets are mine. If I’m not the owner, who is?"
Sophie Wilson’s casual question left Ethan Seymour speechless. How had he forgotten that?
In his mind, Ethan Seymour cursed Charles Seymour. He must be crazy to give such a huge fortune to an outsider!
What if Sophie Wilson decided to run away with the money one day, where would Charles Seymour cry to then?
"Sophie Wilson, call out Charles Seymour. I have something to ask him!" Ethan Seymour arrogantly commanded Sophie Wilson.
Sophie Wilson chuckled, leisurely walking over to the sofa, sitting comfortably down, leaning back, and casually propping her legs up on the coffee table.
"I’m afraid you won’t be able to see Mr. Seymour," Sophie Wilson replied with a smile.
Seeing Sophie Wilson so relaxed vexed Ethan Seymour. He hadn’t even sat down, but Sophie Wilson was quite comfortable. Did she even acknowledge him as her elder?
"What’s wrong?" Ethan Seymour asked with a sneer, "Is he scared to see me?"
"Not at all." Sophie Wilson shrugged, "Mr. Seymour is busy making money to support me, so he has no time to see you."
Ethan Seymour’s expression changed, just as he was about to erupt in anger, Sophie Wilson calmly added, "Of course, it’s not impossible if you want to see him. One hundred million per minute, how many minutes would you like to see him for?"
The conditions set by Sophie Wilson almost made Ethan Seymour cough up blood: "One hundred million per minute, why don’t you just go rob a bank?"
"Because you can’t rob a bank, can you?" Sophie Wilson responded with stark honesty, spreading her hands wide, "Besides, when I’m with someone who can earn money for me, why would I risk robbing a bank?"
"No normal person would do something like that, right?"
Sophie Wilson’s dismissive query made Ethan Seymour breathe heavily from anger. Damn it, no normal person talked the way Sophie Wilson did!
"Dad, calm down. We’re here to get some answers," James Reed hurriedly reassured Ethan Seymour, reminding him of their real purpose for coming and not allowing Sophie Wilson to keep diverting the conversation.
