Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate-Chapter 809: Say It Again
Prompted by James Reed, Ethan Seymour regained some of his rationality and nodded, saying, "Yeah, I know."
Ethan Seymour took a deep breath to calm his emotions, so he could properly face Sophie Wilson.
That brat really makes people furious!
"Sophie Wilson, did you guys stir things up online? Was it that bastard Charles Seymour doing it on purpose?" Ethan Seymour questioned.
"Yeah." Sophie Wilson bluntly admitted.
Ethan Seymour had prepared a litany of questions, but her straightforwardness left him tongue-tied, unable to utter a single word.
This was nothing like he imagined, completely catching him off guard.
"Sophie Wilson, why are you so devious?" Ethan Seymour’s mouth moved a few times before he finally found the right words and angrily cursed.
"Devious?" Sophie Wilson looked at Ethan Seymour quizzically, blinking innocently, "I’m just moved by James Reed and Ophelia Wilson’s great love, helping them become a couple." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
"What couple becoming a family? You’re just trying to piss me off!" Ethan Seymour cursed angrily, "How could the Seymour Family possibly welcome such trash into our home!"
"Oh... You see, that’s not right." Sophie Wilson waved her hand, saying, "Now all the netizens know James Reed is going to register with Ophelia Wilson. What? Are you looking down on Ophelia Wilson from the bottom of your heart?"
"If you look down on her, why let her in the door? Isn’t that contradictory? Or are you really just trying to avoid jail time by temporarily compromising to let Ophelia enter, planning to have James Reed divorce her afterward."
"That’s not right!" Sophie Wilson pouted, letting out a heavy sigh, "Using her and then discarding her, that’s truly inhumane."
"If you hadn’t stirred things online, would it have reached this point?" Ethan Seymour fumed, his chest tightening, heart aching with every beat. He really wished he could slap Sophie Wilson across the face, beat this little brat to death.
"Listen to what you’re saying." Sophie Wilson burst into laughter, "It was you who went to the hotel to find Ophelia Wilson, and it was you who pushed her down the stairs. Even if I wanted to stir up online trouble, without your actions, I couldn’t incite anything."
"Hey, James Reed, you aren’t really using Ophelia Wilson to help your dad get off the hook, right? If that’s true, you’re really shameless, huh? I thought you and Ophelia were true love, that’s why I worked so hard to bring you together. You know, hiring the Maritime Force costs money." Sophie Wilson beamed at James Reed; the brighter her smile, the angrier Ethan Seymour got.
"Who said James and Ophelia were true love? It was that shameless tramp clinging to our James!" Ethan Seymour yelled before James Reed could speak.
"Hey, hey... is that really the truth?" Sophie Wilson looked at James Reed in surprise, sitting up straighter from the shock.
"Of course!" Ethan Seymour didn’t need James Reed to speak; he was speaking entirely on his behalf.
"Alright, then please say it again in front of the camera." Sophie Wilson cheerfully extended her hand, pointing beside them, "So I can post it online and let everyone know they’ve misunderstood James Reed. He doesn’t have any feelings for Ophelia Wilson and is only claiming to marry her out of desperation."
