Rebirth in the 80's: The Daily Life of the Villain's Mom-Chapter 40: Changes Yet to Be Discovered
After a busy morning, whether it was buns, porridge, or eggs, everything was sold out.
Looking at the empty pots and steamers, Pei Yang and Pei Shanshan both started to laugh.
One instance of good business might be luck.
But selling out every time can only mean their stuff is good.
Because their stuff is good, people come to buy.
Seeing them so happy, Jiang Ran’s eyebrows curved slightly, but she quickly suppressed it.
When her expression returned to emotionless, Jiang Ran felt a bit complicated inside.
When can I just smile whenever I want without fear of ruining my image!
Before Jiang Ran could figure it out, she saw Wang Cuilan holding Pei Jing’s hand, walking over steadily.
Seeing them coming, Pei Shanshan and Pei Yang couldn’t just laugh foolishly anymore.
"Mom, have you and Little Jing eaten?" Pei Shanshan quickly asked.
"We have, we’ve eaten," Wang Cuilan nodded as she spoke, "Did you eat? I brought you some food. You can have a bite now and eat more when you get home."
Upon hearing Wang Cuilan’s words, Jiang Ran’s stomach also started rumbling.
Today’s business was even better than yesterday morning. She had neither the time nor the conditions to hide any buns.
Originally, she thought she could only go home hungry and eat later, but didn’t expect Wang Cuilan would bring them some food.
What Wang Cuilan brought were flatbreads, bigger than the palm of an adult man, not pure white flour, but with cornmeal, slightly yellow in color, and with a sweet corn aroma when you get close.
The flatbread was cut open and had finely shredded potatoes and a fried egg inside.
After taking a bite, Jiang Ran found that hers was different from Pei Yang’s and Pei Shanshan’s.
The flatbread of Pei Yang and Pei Shanshan had one fried egg inside.
But in Jiang Ran’s flatbread, there were two.
In other circumstances, for other people, Jiang Ran would definitely think this was favoritism.
But now, it’s clearly not.
Still, Jiang Ran wasn’t someone to fuss over this.
One or two fried eggs, it didn’t really matter.
Once their business stabilizes, they’ll have freedom not only with eggs but also with pork.
Quickly finishing the flatbread, Jiang Ran instructed Pei Yang and Pei Shanshan, "You two tidy up and load the stuff onto the car, then wait here while we take Little Jing to kindergarten."
After these two days of doing business with Jiang Ran, Pei Yang and Pei Shanshan had become accustomed to responding to Jiang Ran’s instructions.
Previously, they listened to Jiang Ran out of fear.
Now they listen because they feel Jiang Ran is right.
But they haven’t noticed this change yet.
Jiang Ran noticed, but she didn’t point it out.
Jiang Ran led Wang Cuilan and Pei Jing to the kindergarten. By this time, the kindergarten gates were already closed; evidently, they were a bit late.
Jiang Ran’s figure was too unique, easy to remember.
The old man at the gate recognized her immediately and greeted her with a smile, even calling Teacher Lin out for them.
This time, Teacher Lin led them into the office, completed the enrollment procedures, and issued a receipt.
Finally, Teacher Lin took Pei Jing into the classroom, and Jiang Ran and Wang Cuilan followed, peeking in through the window.
There were already more than twenty little kids inside, sitting in a circle and listening to a teacher tell a story.
After Teacher Lin led Pei Jing in, the storytelling teacher paused.
