DISPLAYING ON THE SCREEN :

Tossing over a dress was Rachel as she handed over the dress which she had bought to Tara.

With a stern voice she said, "Listen you brat. You think leaving will stop me and your father’s engagement, well keep dreaming because I’m going to marry your father whether you like it or not."

Almost in tears, Tara let out a silent cry as she spoke, "you are very mean, papa will never marry you. Papa only loves mama."

Rachel laughed, "The only feeling your father has for your mother is absolutely nothing but hatred but don’t worry. Since you love your mom so much, I’ll definitely do you a favour and send you to her because soon, your father would hate you as much as he hates your mother."

"I’ll tell papa everything you had just said and he will cancel this engagement and marry my mama instead." Tara said as she tried to walk past Rachel but was pushed away by Rachel. This made her lose her balance and fall next to her desk thus leading to a slight injury that formed on her forehead.

"Do you think your dad will believe you? He won’t even spare you a glance and I will make sure of it. Now keep your mouth shut if you don’t want to be dealt with, understood"

Tara nodded slowly, her eyes already tearing up slowly.

With that the video ended as the entire room became silent, all eyes fixed on Rachel at this point. If she had super powers, she would literally fly away at this moment. Even Catherine at this point didn’t know what to do.

Shivering, Rachel tried to leave but was stopped by Fiona, "And where do you think you’re going, for someone who seemed so excited to get engaged, you’re sure in a hurry " Fiona said sarcastically.

Just then, Rowen walked towards Tara as he bent down to check her forehead which was covered with makeup to hide the bruises, this made him so angry that he could explode at this moment.

He knew Rachel was cunning, but he never knew she was so wicked as to even hurt a child. His daughter for that matter. Yes! He didn’t want to marry her but he at least wanted to see her performance then would he decide if he was going to marry her or not but this! Her actions today ruined everything.

Marching towards her, he gave her the hardest slap she had ever received in her whole life taking everyone by surprise as the room immediately turned as silent as a graveyard.

Everyone knew of Rowen’s temper and how he can be to those that hurt the ones he loved, especially his daughter even Catherine didn’t dare say anything knowing how Rowen can be in such situations.

"How dare you raise your hands on my daughter? Who the hell do you think you are?" he questioned as Rachel started to cry.

"i-i-I didn’t mean to, I just wanted to reprimand her for leaving like that without informing anyone."

She explained but Rowen wasn’t having it.

"And what right do you have to reprimand my daughter? Who do you take yourself for?" he asked, pushing her as she collapsed on the ground.

"I am your fiancée and I will be your wife soon, making Tara my step daughter. I have every right to correct and reprimand her as I wish." Rachel defended herself.

But her words only made Rowen more upset, "You are so obsessed with getting married to me right? Then In that case I’ll show you the real reality."

Saying that, Rowen removed the ring which Rachel had placed on his finger as he then threw it on her causing everyone to gasp in surprise.

"This engagement is cancelled, I will never have a bitch like you as my wife, ever .... Now let me make it clear, if I ever see you step your feet into my house or my company ever again, then I’ll make sure to ruin both you and your entire william family. Do you understand?"

Saying that, Rowen carried Tara in his arms as he left the hall, leaving everyone in suspense, the room filled with one murmur to another.

Smiling, Fiona brought out her phone as she dialed Vanessa’s number, "Hay babe, I don’t know how things there are like but here is totally in absolute disaster." Fiona said as she laughed out loud

Stepping out from a huge mansion was Vanessa as her phone rang and as expected it was Fiona, she picked as the words said by Fiona made a soft smile appear on her face.

"That’s good, soon Erin will be dealt with, then can our revenge be finaliz-" just before Vanessa could finish, someone out of nowhere placed a white cloth on her nostrils, causing her to groan slightly as Fiona at the other end immediately noticed something was wrong.

"Vanessa? Vanessa? Are you alright? What is wrong?" she questioned but Vanessa had already passed out due to the drug that was placed in the handkerchief..

"Vanessa? Vanessa answered me? Are you alright?" worry was plastered across fiona’s face as just then, a rather familiar voice was heard from the other end.

"Oh sweet Fiona, you want to know if Vanessa is alright? Well news flash! She isn’t and soon you’ll know why messing with me is the worst thing you could do in this life. Just watch as I ruin both yours and vanessa’s life completely."

And with that she let out an evil laugh before cutting the call, leaving Fiona in shock and fear’

Quickly taking her bag she rushed out of the hall straight to the main house where she saw Rowen talking with George.

"Rowen!" she shouted as she ran towards him.

Upon seeing her, Rowen was taken by surprise expecting to see Vanessa beside her but she wasn’t there.

"Fiona? What are you doing here?" he asked but Fiona wasn’t here to answer such questions.

"Rowen, this isn’t the time for questions, something bad just happened. Vanessa has been kidnapped by Eunice!"
