I was just theory crafting inside of my head.

Trying to just predict things based on all the tropes I know from Mangas and Light Novels and all of that weeb shit.

"Alright then, it's all set," Sofia nodded. "With the girls we'll be going back to our dorms, good night Maria."

Sofia hugged me tightly, kissing my cheek.

"Good night to you as well," I patted her head. "See you tomorrow!"

"Yeah, bye guys!" Sofia smiled, waving her hand as everyone said goodbye.

As she left with the other girls, I noticed most other students we befriended were also gone by now.

I guess it was all of my family again, but that was nice.

"Okay I know this will sound crazy but inside of my head I was trying to deduce and predict the truth about the world, and I might've just hit the jackpot because I was right." I said.

"Eh? W-What do you mean that you were right?" Lucifer asked, drinking some coffee with white chocolate cream on top.

"Well…"

I explained to them my various hypothesis, such as the Nightmare Threat being a world-wide Curse that has affected the entirety of the Blue Star Planet, that I guessed that the Reset was being done by someone, and that every time the world was reset 7 days before its end, some people would permanently disappear, meaning that no matter the efforts of whoever is resetting the time, eventually, humanity will disappear anyways.

"T-This is grim," said Emeraldine. "But if it's true, then we've figured it out, well done Maria!"

"Yeah… You're really like a detective," said Partner. "How did you even guess it so well?!2

"I don't know! I was just applying what I know from other fantasy stories… this entire world really feels like some sort of Manga, or a Web Novel I would read," I said. "Or maybe a video game? It feels like that."

"Okay, I get it but still, that's crazy," said Arthur. "These Manga and Light Novels from the world your original soul came from must be great…"

"Yeeah…" I nodded.

I was happy he didn't mind me being a reincarnated person, it was something he didn't knew until recently, same for Jonathan.

Both didn't really mind at all at the end!

"So what are the new Hidden Tasks?" Asked Lucifer.

"It's… [Find the Origin of the World's Nightmare Curse] and [Discover Who is Resetting the World Seven Days Before Its Destruction]!" said Partner. "So now we have to find where these two things come from… I feel like the Nightmare Demons might know more. I mean, they're the strongest form that Nightmares can take, right? Those bastards should know something."

"I agree, we should capture more," nodded Nia. "The more we can get, the more information we could find! Do you think you could do the same you did with Beatriz, Maria?"

"Hey! You're saying as if its easy to tame us…" Beatriz groaned.

"I don't think I could do it again," I explained. "But if we got Beatriz in here, it shouldn't be impossible to ask her to talk with them or trick them or something similar."

"To think you would use my help for such ulterior motives…" Beatriz said.

"Well you were kind of aware of the whole reset, most other Nightmare Demons must also know, right?" I asked her.

"Err… I guess…" she groaned. "Well, not any, only the special ones like me!"

"And what makes you special?" I asked her.

"I am the Demon King's daughter and my power over Nightmares is strong! E-Every Nightmare Demon represents a powerful aspect of fears and so on! And I am one of them!" she said.

"And what Fear do you represent?" Asked Partner.

"I… Uh, I kind of forgot okay? But it's some sort of fear against malformations and mutations I think? Anyways this Fear give us Demons powerful abilities, you know? And I can shapeshift and become various things and monsters and transform!" she said. "A-And…"

"Okay, okay, we believe you," I nodded. "Whatever the case, you're going to help us anyways, because its convenient for you. I wouldn't mind making you the new Queen of Nightmares or whatever once we beat your dad and stop whatever plans there is that'll destroy the world."

"I don't think he would want to destroy the world… I don't know his plans but if I assume some things…" she said. "I would guess father is trying to turn the entire world into a Nightmare Realm or something similar to that. This way we'll rule as the dominant species as Nightmare Demons, and Humans will be nothing but livestock at best! I guess that's something he would do… maybe?"

"Huh…" I nodded. "Alright, there's more we should talk, let's spend the next hour doing so before we go rest."

And so, we spent that hour discussing various things, figuring out new things, and also discovering a few other things.

Once we returned to our rooms to rest, and I went with Arthur to our house, we greeted our sister, bringing her lots of sweets before we went to sleep.

She was as nice as ever, but due to her vulnerability, her safety worried me, so I kept a close eye on her using Phantoms.
