C Rank Quantum Shapers have 2 core general Class abilities, Reality Sculptor and Reality Node.

When activated, Reality Sculptor enables a Quantum Shaper to gain active control over reality constants in any localized region, reality constants like the speed of sound, the speed of light, gravitational constant, and even time rate.

With each activation of the ability, a Quantum Shaper can create small, stable distortions in localized reality constants that can last up to 60 seconds.

Reality constants are supposed to be the unchanging, universal quantities that define the behavior of physical phenomena throughout the universe.

These intrinsic, measured values are essential to physical laws, ensuring consistent, predictable, and uniform behavior across all of space and time.

They’re supposed to be unchangeable, untouchable constants of reality.

But at C Rank, as a Reality Sculptor, a Quantum Shaper gains the ability to defy reality constants to change and manipulate them!

At C Rank, a Reality Sculptor can manipulate reality itself.

For example, a C Rank Quantum Shaper can make an entire mountain lift off the ground and fly by controlling the localized reality constant of gravity, manipulating it to enable flight.

In the same way, a Reality Sculptor can rewrite the reality constant of a biological or a mechanical body, pushing it past its limit to move at speeds far exceeding the speed of sound.

Theoretically, a Reality Sculptor should be able to rewrite the reality constant of the speed of light to be able to move at speeds of light.

But sound is not light.

Fundamentally, it is impossible for a body with mass to reach the speed of light whose exact value is 1,079,252,848.8 km/hour.

That was over a billion kilometer per hour!

That was speeds that already exceeded the concepts of possibility and such speed is only possible in a vacuum.

But purely theoretically, the nature of a Reality Sculptor’s abilities at C Rank meant they should be able to rewrite this reality constant to obtain such speeds.

Afterall, the speed of light is a reality constant.

The only thing holding back a Reality Sculptor from attaining the speed of light was the limitation of ADE.

A C Rank Ascended simply didn’t have the ADE to attain light speeds, but maybe at the still conceptual A Rank, a Quantum Shaper would be able to attain such speeds.

Also, at C Rank, a Quantum Shaper simply didn’t have the body to withstand and survive moving at such speeds.

But even if at C Rank, Quantum Shapers can’t truly break the reality constant of the speed of light, they still have the ability to influence the reality constant to break every speed record ever recorded in Neo-Tokara.

C Rank Reality Sculptors are walking cheat codes.

While C Rank NetRunners bend the rules of realism, able to materialize data into physical form as data constructs, C Rank Quantum Shapers directly break the rules of realism by changing the unchangeable.

They’re like Lawmakers and Judges in a court of law, but they don’t follow the law. They’re unhinged, crooked Judges.

They specialize in breaking the law.

This was how General Murphy was able to outfly every single warship and aerial transport that left Spire Prime to reinforce the Federation forces in Iron Reef, arriving within 40 minutes!

He was the fastest man alive in all of Neo-Tokara.

As for the second general Class ability of C Rank Quantum Shapers, Reality Node is a derived ability of Reality Sculptor that creates a 20 meter zone where one fundamental constant can be rewritten at will.

Unlike the base Reality Sculptor, this effect would not expire after 60 seconds.

So long as a C Rank Quantum Shaper had enough ADE, he can maintain Reality Node to create a 20 meter zone where he can fight like a God.

Within this zone, at the cost of high ADE drain, all reality constants are subject to the whims of the Reality Sculptor.

As for his Class Specialization, General Murphy is a Quantum Shaper of the Chrono Master Specialization.

When the General activated Reality Sculptor, it wasn’t to attack, instead it was to swiftly search for and find Ren Nora’s hiding position.

Stopping the rebel leader’s C Rank Trial was the priority.

Ren Nora is a Geneform, a biological lifeform and every biological lifeform has heat. And though heat is not a reality constant, heat energy is derived from the interaction between certain reality constants.

To find the rebel leader, General Murphy intended to tap into every single individual heat signature in this city through the reality constants of space, gravity and friction to find the specific heat signature belonging to the General.

But the moment he activated the ability and he started looking, filtering through the tens of thousands of information that flooded his brain, he was attacked!

Major Kai led an attack on the enemy General!

When Major Kai realized that a new C Rank enemy just appeared, the first emotion he felt was despair but his despair was quickly replaced by determination.

His determination was born in the fact that during the testing phase, he and Ren Nora already asked Leon Ardent about the DDOS trap and the Mechanist claimed that no matter the Class, no C Rank Ascended would willingly enter the trap range and be unscathed.

When he saw the new C Rank enemy teleport towards General Sylvari Charr, Major Kai felt intense anxiety but when the C Rank Quantum Shaper did nothing, the Major’s mind swelled with determination and fighting spirit.

Instantly, he communicated with his comrades, trying to formulate a plan on how to take on the enemy General.

This was because Major Kai knew that the priority of this General once he realized that he could not rescue Sylvari immediately was finding Ren Nora as fast as possible and disrupting his Trial.

They had no intention of letting this happen, the only reason why they fought so hard was so that Ren Nora could succeed and become a C Rank Ascended, the first of the free folk.

And even if it meant fighting to the death to make this reality happen, Major Kai was willing to fight and die so Ren Nora could fly.

None of them showed hesitation at the daunting prospect of fighting head-on against a C Rank Ascended, not even Major Garfield who was still injured.

Unlike against General Sylvari Charr for the past 12 days who they avoided in battle like a plague, to stop this new General, they had to fight him head-on but none of them showed fear.

And the moment the General started searching for Ren Nora, they all attacked at the same time!

The combination of the myriad abilities from the 5 D Rank Ascended disrupted the efforts of the C Rank Quantum Shaper.

But General Murphy didn’t show any frustration at being attacked.

Instead, this General showed a distorted eerie expression of thrill and raw excitement on his face as he cackled loudly like a maniac.

"Muahahahaha... bring it on!"

"Come on, FIGHT ME IF YOU DARE!"

He moved, ignoring Director-Prime Epsilon’s directive as he embraced his primal instinct to battle.

General Murphy was a free soul and he always did what he wanted to do, not even the Director-Prime could change that.

His eyes blazed golden with palpable killing intent.
