Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 736: The Next Step Forward
’What do I do now?’ Kael asked himself as he sat down.
This world of the Original Heaven was rich in Origin Essence, as he could feel it everywhere.
As a security measure, he stayed in his true lion form, the same as his three clones.
They surrounded the large black cat at the center and maintained an air of majesty and mysteriousness.
While they waited for the black cat to wake up, Kael had already set up multiple parameters around them and had also activated the Law of Camouflage that he got from the Primordial Chameleon.
It would be effectively hard for a lot of creatures to pinpoint Kael’s current location unless they could see him.
As Kael sat there with his clones, he was thinking of what he should do now that Ibadon was gone.
Kael did not assume that the heat had died down yet. Rather, he was aware that he may have just set up several storms in hidden places.
The death of a ten-million-year-old immortal was not a small event and many hidden monsters would eventually hear of the news.
Especially in Original Heaven, where the number of immortals was disgustingly high. Kael was bound to become infamous here as news would definitely reach them.
This would make him the source of unwanted attention. It was either this or getting used to living in fear because of Ibadon.
Unfortunately, Kael did not know any way that he could leave this Original Heaven yet. So if he and his clones died here, that would truly be the end of him.
Kael was not the only one in danger, the lion civilization out there was now extremely vulnerable.
If not for the new Immortals, they would be in a much worse position.
At least, now, with those immortal lions on standby, the rest of the lions could leave in peace.
Peace?
Kael’s gaze flashed with a look of disgust. He couldn’t digest the fact that he was recommending a state of peace for the lions.
It was so...uncomfortable.
He was sure that even the lions would not like it.
Short-term peace was fine, but long-term peace was absolutely mind-draining for them.
Alas, it had to be done for them to preserve and recover their strength and numbers.
Speaking of recovering, Kael had already ordered Quin and the rest to immediately start planning invasion campaigns against the Bees.
At the same time, the remaining lions who survived were ordered to have as many cubs as they could and all the participants of the Consort Trial were recalled back to heaven.
By a stroke of luck, the Apex Pyramid had survived the oblivion wave but was seriously damaged.
It was a good thing that the infrastructure was not even half complete so the loss of many materials was bearable.
Many working creatures that had been on the continent had been killed instantly and a good chunk of the continent was shaved off.
If not for the fact that the Apex Pyramid was at the edge of the Central Coverage, it would have been fully destroyed.
This was another loss that Kael took into account.
So, for now, the lion race was just in its recovery stage with the main thing they were recovering for now being their numbers.
Memphis and the other consorts would be in standby with the Ol’mytee Clan. There was no need for a new stand-in leader since the Lion System was still there.
Kael could still effectively pull their strings even if he was not there physically.
However, Kael did not want the surviving lions and lionesses getting too comfortable so he put a casual reminder that they were to keep on getting stronger no matter what.
Kael stylishly painted the misfortune as a consequence of being extremely weak.
As for how they took it, Kael did not care. The plan to purge out the weak was still something that had not yet left his mind.
Conquering the universe was going to take a lot more than those few tier 6 and 7 left. If some of them couldn’t strengthen themselves, they should be killed off to make space and release resources for those who can.
Right now, the first thing on Kael’s mind was finding the lions here in Original Heaven. They should be able to take off the anxiousness of the whole situation.
Now that he only had Original Heaven, he had to be careful.
He hadn’t forgotten his original goal for coming here, to break out the lions in this place so that they can unleash tyranny upon the cosmos. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
That goal was within reach, as long as he could find out exactly what to do to achieve it.
"Ugh!" Kael heard a groan coming from the black cat. His lost gaze became cold, and the flashing lights that came from all the systems were drowned away by determination.
The All-King activated his spirit energy on time, sending a nasty spirit lock into Chez’s mind before the latter could react.
Chez’s mind was fortified and extremely powerful for some reason even though he was not a spirit-powered creature.
"Wake up," Kael spoke, his deep voice causing little vibrations in the ground and in Chez’s chest.
Chez opened his dark eyes and looked around. Memories of what had happened flooded his mind like water from a broken dam.
The ambush, five All-Kings attacking him at the same time, on a fungi-infested planet.
He remembered being bashed from left to right in the most humiliating manner until he was knocked unconscious.
In a split second, Chez rose from the ground and rushed away. However, before he could turn into a black stream of light, he bashed into a dome-shaped barrier above.
The barrier merely flickered before going invisible again while Chez slid down to the ground with a crushing headache.
Kael shook his large lion head and stood up.
"Chez, don’t play stupid, come, let’s talk..." Kael said as he approached the balcony cat with a calm demeanor.
