Chapter 738: Chapter 738: Itโ€™s Already Being Done

"What do you mean he was sent here long ago?

Nobody has seen him here," A voice laced with annoyance was speaking from a transmission device in Sethโ€™s hand.

"I sent him back long ago, he should be there by now," Seth said with a frown on his face. ๐™›๐’“๐’†๐™š๐’˜๐’†๐“ซ๐™ฃ๐“ธ๐™ซ๐“ฎ๐’.๐’„๐’๐“ถ

He had sent his brother, Chez, back to Original Heaven as his father requested, but he was now hearing thatChez was yet to arrive.

That was strange.

The gate to Original Heaven was far but it wasnโ€™t THAT far. He should have met with the others in heaven by now.

"Hmmm, maybe he encountered something dangerous.

Do you want me to go and look for him?" Seth asked.

He stood up from the fur pillow he was sitting on and prepared to fly away, to the dismay of the other creatures sitting in the room with him.

"No," The voice of his father said calmly, "Iโ€™ll order some of the House Cats of Luthor on the outside to check around for anything.

All you should do is focus on your mission there," Sethโ€™s father said.

Seth calmed down. He cared about his brother and didnโ€™t want anything bad to happen to him, but he also had to trust in Chezโ€™s strength and the efficiency of the House Cats of Luthor.

"Father, concerning the mission..." Chez paused, looking around and seeing the creatures that were in the room with him.

Envoys from the Cheetah Civilization, Chen, Representatives of the Panthers, Jaguars, and ten more feline creatures were here.

"Iโ€™ve gathered the feline creatures from other civilizations as we planned," Seth said.

The cheetah envoy here was a very slim woman and she was a descendant of the Cheetah Member of the Ancient Council of Felines.

Her fiery eyes narrowed down to slits as she listened in on the conversation attentively.

Out of the other envoys here, she was the only one who had a little bit of connection with the Immortals in Original Heaven.

"Good," Sethโ€™s father said, "I hope they didnโ€™t give you any trouble," He asked.

Seth shook his head, "No," He lied.

Of course, they gave him trouble. It wasnโ€™t like these feline civilizations were open enemies with the lion civilization.

Sure, the lions had bullied a lot of creatures, but they hardly had time for other cosmic factions in the past millennium.

The felines had been reluctant to join the alliance against the lions.

Seth had to step in and kill a few to show his power. Added to the tigers also flexing their numbers and strength, the felines ended up joining.

The Cheetahs were the only ones who did not give Seth much trouble, only demanding compensation for their participation.

Seth had been very careful with the methods that he was using.

He didnโ€™t want to offend the Ancient Feline Council in Original Heaven.

Out of the thirteen feline factions that had joined, three of them had Primordials already.

The Cheetahs, the Jaguars, and the Panthers. The tigers would have been among them but their Primordial was killed by Ibadon not long ago.

Seth hissed, what a loss.

"Give them the transmission devices, let them talk with their superiors in heaven," Sethโ€™s father said through the transmission device.

Seth nodded and waved his hand. His baby face could not hide the dangerous focus in his pure white eyes as he sent out thirteen disc-shaped transmission devices.

The feline representatives all held one in their hands. Chen stared at the disc-shaped device in his large hand and poured his will into it.

The others did the same except the Cheetah envoy.

"I already have one," The Cheetah envoy said as she brought her own transmission disc from a pocket space.

"Oh," Seth glanced at her knowingly, then waved his hand to collect the extra transmission disc.

"Can they hear me?" Sethโ€™s father asked.

"Yes, Father," Seth nodded.

"Good, I want to speak to them," Sethโ€™s father said.

Seth hesitated for a brief second before nodding. He flicked his wrist, sending his transmission device to the center of the room where it floated a few inches above the marble floor.

The few dots on the body of the transmission device lit up with the light of magic and advanced technology.

The kind of technology that allowed for seamless quantum communication between those in Original Heaven and those in the mortalverse.

There was a low hum before a holographic projection shot out of the transmission device.

A slim and short middle-aged man soon appeared in front of everyone in the form of a holographic projection.

He was not too tall, about the same height as Seth if they were to stand together in the real world.

He bore a very striking resemblance to Seth, and many might assume that this was Sethโ€™s older brother.

This man looked more like Seth than Chez, who was Sethโ€™s actual brother.

He shared a similar facial structure with Seth, only that he looked way more mature and he lacked that babyish appearance.

He looked very serious, yet his eyes carried glints of boredom and supreme level patience.

From the way he looked at everyone with an instinctive dismissive gaze, those with experience would know that this was someone who had been alive for a very long time.

His hair was a blueish grey color, the same as his eyebrows. He was not muscular, but that didnโ€™t mean he was not physically strong.

It just meant that his main powers did not rely on any effort from his physical body.

This man also had six cat ears on his head, which were weird and eldritch-looking.

Why six? Why not the regular four?

Besides that, he also had a fluffy cat tail behind him.

The manโ€™s deep green eyes with black slits looked around at the representatives of the feline races.

"You have all been summoned for the sake of a higher calling. One that must be achieved if we donโ€™t want to find ourselves at the mercy of the tyrants in the future.

We in heaven can only do so much to keep them away from the universal stage. But it has done little to stop them from growing in other places.

Genocide is impossible, Ibadon can tell you why.

We do not seek to exterminate the lions. No, they are our cousins, we cannot treat them badly.

Our goal is to change the laws they are affiliated with.

The lions talk about conquest but they never imagined what it would feel like to be conquered.

That is what we aim for..." Sethโ€™s father paused, his green eyes stopping on Chen.

"The Law of Conquering is too dangerous to leave in the paws of the lions.

We must change their affiliated law to Slavery.

For the sake of the continuation of the Ancient Felines, this is something that must be done."

There was a cold deafening silence. Sethโ€™s father had painted the lions as the bad guys as soon as he opened his mouth.

And unfortunately, it was hard to tell if he was telling the truth or just sugarcoating things.

The lions were indeed cosmic bullies and insufferable tyrants after all.

"How?" Chen asked all of a sudden, "How are we going to do it?"

Hearing the question, Sethโ€™s father smiled, "Oh, itโ€™s already being done as we speak.

Your job is to just...speed up the process..."
