Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 756: Powerful Soul From A Father
"Is that all?" Alexander asked with an ugly look of dissatisfaction.
Kael looked at him, "I don’t understand Elder, should there be more?"
Hearing Kael’s question, Alexander’s face scrunched up and his silver eyes flared with righteous rage.
"We have been trapped here for so many years," Alexander said, puffing his muscular chest out with his nostrils shrinking and enlarging in rapid succession.
"We were not trapped here because there was no way out, no, we were trapped here because some creatures have thought it best to keep us here for their own benefits.
We should be kings, not prisoners, not begging for our freedom.
I want us to leave here as much as anyone else. But I don’t want to leave those who did this to us just like that.
We have to make them suffer..."
*CRACK!*
A web-like crack spread out on the wooden table. Kael didn’t know how strong this table was but he guessed it should be really strong.
The crack lined up from Alexander’s palm which was resting on the table to Azeus’s side.
Alexander had merely flexed his finger, this was a result of his anger.
Kael understood something now. He had not thought of this before, he had ignored the fact that these lions were all filled with pure hatred for everything and anything related to keeping them here.
And this also made him realise just how necessary it was for those other creatures to keep them here.
The look in Alexander’s silver eyes did not translate to a desire to conquer. Kael could see that in Jordan and the rest, but Alexander’s look was different.
It was safe to say that Alexander’s first goal upon leaving this world was not to conquer anything, but to kill something.
Or someone in particular.
Alexander might not even want to wait till then, if he did, he wouldn’t be asking Kael if that was all to his plan.
"Elder, revenge will come at the right time, we must face our priorities and understand that we cannot afford any mishaps," Kael said politely.
He wasn’t the one who had been trapped in one place for close to thirty million years, he wasn’t the one who had to watch all his friends and family die, either from natural causes or from suicide.
But Kael could at least be polite.
And he was.
Alexander was also reasonable, he turned his gaze to look at the black cat behind Kael.
"What is his use?" Alexander asked.
"Nothing," Kael said, "He has run out of use for me.
I was wondering if he would be of any use to you guys?"
"Just kill him and let us get it over with," Gabriel said with a bored expression.
"No no no no no no," Jordan suddenly stood up and looked at them with a look of disbelief.
"How could you?" Jordan exclaimed.
They looked at him puzzled, what was Jordan acting up about?
"Don’t you know that this is one of that bastard’s most precious sons?" Jordan asked.
"Does it matter?" Phestus asked, "Just kill the guy, he’s useless to us."
None of them valued Chez’s life, not anymore.
Jordan shook his head, "No, we can use it to make the Patriarch suffer a little," He then looked at Kael.
"The reason why you had those cats fighting you at that time is because of Chez.
The Luthor Patriarch always keeps a spirit mark on his children so that he can find them if necessary.
He must have sensed the general direction when you brought Chez out and had sent those cats to retrieve him."
"Oh," Kael calmly replied. It made sense.
"Is that why his mind was so hard to break? It took me a lot of effort just to knock him unconscious.
And look, he was already waking up as soon as he was out," Kael said.
Chez felt like fainting, but he couldn’t. He cursed his powerful mind.
It was true that his father had placed spirit seals in him and his siblings since they were born so that they could be found easily. The spirit seals also caused them to develop very powerful minds and souls.
It made it hard for them to faint or even sleep sometimes but also gave them extremely strong wills.
The privileges of having a powerful father. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
At this time, the force that was being placed on Chez relaxed a bit, allowing his mouth to be able to move.
"Wait, I can tell you what they are planning for the lions!" Chez shouted as fast as he could.
He had already experienced what Kael considered torture. And from his knowledge, Jordan was far worse than Kael.
Far worse.
It wouldn’t even be called torturing, it would just be Jordan finding new and old ways of inflicting pain on his enemies.
"Oh, we have also been wondering that," Jordan’s eyes brightened, "If you tell us, we might spare you."
"I want to tell you," Chez nodded fast, "I really want to tell you!"
"They want to change our affiliated law don’t they?" Phestus asked all of a sudden with a bored look on his face.
If not for the clean black fur in Chez’s face, they would have seen all the blood drained, leaving him with a pale and fear-stricken expression.
"No, it’s..." Chez tried to defend, searching his mind for information that they may not know.
"Hmm," This topic interested Kael. He had not thought to ask about it before. All he knew was that the Ancient Felines were planning against the lions.
He didn’t know what they were doing exactly.
"I thought as much," Phestus looked incredibly bored. He was already done with his meal as before him was a pile of dead beasts that had the sweetest parts of their bodies ripped out and eaten.
He was ready to move on to something else and show the All-King around.
To him, this was the first time that anyone would plan against the lion’s race for whatever reason.
What then was the point of listening to Chez’s explanation? It was nothing new.
"Wait, you guys don’t know about the slavery avat..."
*BANG!*
A loud sound reverberated from Chez’s head. Kael looked back with a questioning look.
A swift scan showed that Chez’s soul had exploded, right before he could complete his sentence.
The invisible force holding his body retreated and the black cat collapsed to the floor, lifeless.
However, the five kings did not share any looks of joy or satisfaction. The last incomplete sentence of Chez got their full attention.
"What happened?" Kael asked, turning to look at Phestus who now had a very grim expression.
