Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 792: Guests
Outside the Apex Pyramid.
The realm of Leonine had developed and recovered to its original state.
The central coverage was no longer an abyssal mass of nothing, but rather an aftermath of an oblivion blast.
The gold skies and shimmering void were what took over now, beautiful and majestic like the creatures that now inhabited it.
At the Apex Continent, the continent was mostly complete at this point, a massive, sprawling piece of land that could be its own world.
Countless anti-gravity engines hummed silently below the earth, preventing the massive continent from collapsing on itself due to its own gravity.
This artificial continent was so heavy that if it were left unchecked without those anti-gravity engines, its gravitational force could destroy everything around it including itself.
The continent was literally capable of sucking stars if it was not suppressed.
That alone made the whole continent a deadly weapon by itself.
As for the Apex Pyramid that existed at the center, a marvel of architectural power, it was still not yet completed.
The Apex Pyramid had already been developed and built to its allowed limits. The throne hall and some other very important areas were left untouched.
The reason was that the final completion of the Apex Pyramid needed the All-King. The All-King needed to be present to give the last ingredient to make this Apex Pyramid what it was meant to be.
A mobile fortress, a launchpad for heavenly invasions, and a center of command for the Lion Hegemony.
The Apex Pyramid had many halls, but the biggest hall was the one at the lowest level, which was as wide as an ocean.
Inside the hall, tall pillars held up the grand ceilings, and the air was chilled and filled with a particular fruity fragrance.
This hall, despite being so large, was not empty at all. Far from it.
It was heavy with the presence of different creatures in their humanoid forms.
From above, their heads numbered in the hundreds of thousands if not close to a million.
Flashing lights everywhere, these humanoids were not small-time creatures. They would flash from one side of the hall to another, covering vast distances within the hall in a few seconds.
Even though the hall was wide, it wasn’t too small for them and they were able to meet and engage in conversations without any conflict or stress.
But anyone who stayed here for a few minutes would see that there was something invisible happening.
Although all of them were humanoids, not all of them were of the same race.
Most of them were lions, friends of Ozia, or friends of his friends. The others were the leaders of his personal vassal states.
The lion humanoids noticeably stayed close to themselves, flirting with other lionesses or talking about serious business with themselves.
Quite a few of them were also young.
The other group, Ozia’s vassal leaders, were also respectful. They dared not think of it and took the ignorance of the lions as acceptance.
The lions were merely tolerating their presence in Leonine because of Ozia, if not, it would be a bloodbath.
At the end of this hall was a podium with a white pillow throne placed on it.
A large man sat on top of this pillow throne, surrounded by three beauties.
A lot of light was directed to this podium and the podium also seemed like the source of light for the immediate area as well.
The man sitting at the center of this all, the large man on the pillow throne, was the main reason for this gathering.
Sitting there, the yellow skin of the man looked smooth as hard clay. His black dreadlocks fell down his head and below his shoulders, stopping above his large chest.
This man was very handsome, extremely so, second only to one. His handsomeness was not the mind that made one think of him as a chad or a prince charming.
No, his handsomeness would make one see him as a dominating leader and a strong-minded chief.
He looked so much like Kael.
Just larger, and he looked kinder. Not like he was kind or anything. Just that he did not wear that strict look that his father was always wearing most of the time.
His beard was shaved cleanly, leaving him with a beardless appearance. He still bore a strong resemblance to his father. The dreadlocks, yellow tanned skin, and beardless face would be the only difference.
As for what he got from his mother. N’bayé’s traits had mostly been washed away by the years and all that was left was her eyes and forehead on Ozia’s face.
The shape of Ozia’s eyelids and the flatness of his forehead were exactly like N’bayé’s, but that was all.
Ozia sat with a relaxed expression on his face. He was shirtless, exposing his upper torso to the world.
It was an acquired style. He preferred to wear baggy carrot-tip trousers and fur scarves around his shoulders with some beads here and there, just like how he was wearing right now.
Sitting there, Ozia’s presence was truly mighty. He had achieved a lot of things, boosting his confidence in himself greatly and this affected the passive look in his eyes.
On Ozia’s body, what stood out was not his face or his muscular physiology, but his left arm.
Where his arm should be was a metallic-glass-like machine arm, calmly resting on the fluffy armrest of his pillow throne.
Sitting next to Ozia were three beauties. One on his left and two on his right. They were his consorts.
Ozia’s eyes scanned the crowd, looking for someone. He found everyone he was looking for except one person.
Katari.
Katari was here, and she was standing in one corner having a full discussion with Memphis and Alora.
This surprised Ozia. Two people he had not expected to come to this coronation were N’bayé and Katari.
N’bayé, he could understand, he had not even seen her in the last sixteen years so he wasn’t disturbed by her absence.
But Katari, these kinds of things wouldn’t interest her at all. That she came here meant that she at least had considerations for him.
Ozia greatly appreciated this and it made him feel better.
Ozia also noticed others but two gave Ozia a frown.
Eidel was chatting with Priya and Shuri.
Shuri was the Primordial Hyena and she had come here for obvious reasons. A lot of Ozia’s vassals happened to be hyenas and they made up the vast majority of his military power.
Ozia just preferred them to the wolves.
Shuri was here because of that as this had caused her to have a lot of cooperation with Ozia.
As for Priya, she seemed cheerful. But as usual, she was aware of everyone’s surface emotional state and this was telling.
Shuri was simply being vigilant with a flat mental state so Priya did not pay any attention to her.
But Eidel was not looking too well. She was looking around over and over again, as if worried about something.
Priya and Shuri seemed to be consoling her and trying to make her calm down and it seemed to be working.
Ozia sighed, Eidel had been like this ever since Ruda died.
Every day, Eidel would suggest that they go out to find Ruda’s reincarnation. Her logic was that Ruda may be all alone out there in the cosmos, surrounded by people who are not her true family.
She wanted them to find Ruda as soon as possible.
She wanted her twin sister back, afraid that she might die a second time.
Eidel had developed paranoia after that assassination incident.
A sad state as she was the last person Ozia would have expected this to happen to.
Alas, it was so. Ruda’s chest had been pierced through by that assassin right in front of her eyes. And that same assassin had almost killed her.
Fortunately, Eidel was getting better, she was much worse than this a few years ago.
She had even pushed the immortals to attack the cheetah civilization as soon as they were found.
Now, Eidel was recovering better and becoming less agitated by the things around her. After all these years, Ruda’s identity mark was still shining brightly in the lion system.
No one was able to contact her or locate her, but at least, they were assured that she was fine after all these years.
The other person who caused Ozia to worry was his brother, Silas.
The son of Priya was not standing at a corner or something. He was walking around and exchanging greetings with other guests. But that was all.
Silas did not slow down to engage in small talk with anyone. As soon as he was done with exchanging greetings, he would continue walking.
He didn’t have any particular destination, he just kept going and going and going. If he kept this up, he would eventually greet everyone in the hall, what next?
This was forced extroversion.
This was not something that started today. It was something that had been a cause of worry amongst the children of the All-King.
Silas was suffering from depression.
