Reincarnated as a Novel's Villain: Creator of Curses and Blessings-Chapter 49: [Faith of Justice]
His answer was [Faith of Justice] Blessing. If he could use it, his mana core could reach the equivalent of five.
However, there was a huge problem.
He didn’t believe in Justice.
(But I’ll give it a shot.)
He didn’t expect to maintain the power of five mana cores for the rest of the fight. He only hoped he could use it for at least thirty seconds.
This was a gamble, because once the effect of [Faith of Justice] Blessing ended, he would weaken.
This blessing was distasteful. It should’ve been a curse rather than a blessing.
Hector clenched his jaw, then shot a focused stare at the man, like a seasoned, devious hawk searching for an enemy’s weak spot from afar. At the same time, he commanded Aharok inwardly, using the remaining mana he had, ready to fight in a psychotic slaughter to the death.
Hector only needed a minimal amount of mana to finish that bastard—but he needed the right timing. With that condition met, he had already triggered [Faith of Justice] as well.
Aharok burst into laughter and pulled the massive blade from his chest. Then he rushed forward, using gravity to restrain the slaughter.
In his final movement, he unleashed a barrage of punches at his enemy. Each punch was like a massive steel weight, carrying enough force to crush a six–mana-core individual into a puddle of blood.
However... regardless of how many destructive attacks had already smashed the man’s body again and again, he still laughed psychotically.
He released the pressure of his aura, tearing apart Aharok’s gravity. Then, with a quick movement, he dodged Aharok’s blows, and just half a second later, he was already upon him.
His face gleamed maniacally as he chopped Aharok in half in a single motion.
But Aharok had permission to use all of Hector’s mana. His body regenerated at a ridiculous speed, as if the slaughter’s previous chop had meant nothing.
BANG!
The man tumbled across the ground again, like a broken puppet stomped and tossed aside by its owner.
"F-FUCK... YOU’RE A DAMNED MONSTER." The middle-aged man clenched his jaw, quickly stood up, and looked around for Hector.
He didn’t want to face Aharok one more time. He had already suffered too much at the hands of that hideous monster.
Moreover, he couldn’t maintain that state for much longer. He needed to finish Hector right now.
"You’re there!" The man smiled when he spotted Hector standing there, staring at him. But before he could move, gravity restrained him once more.
Again, he was quickly pulled toward Aharok.
"I CURSE YOU! FUCKING MONSTER!" The man roared in rage as the creature constantly interfered with his path to killing Hector.
Each of Aharok’s attacks was hell for him. Even as a veteran who had endured countless bloody battles, he could barely withstand it.
He gritted his teeth and drove his massive blade forward, aiming straight for Aharok’s head. But just half a second later, he scowled in panic as Aharok’s head regenerated almost instantly.
Aharok laughed manically, wrapping the man in a tight embrace before widening his long, fully toothed maw and biting down.
"DAMN YOU!"
The man swiftly reinforced his head with mana to endure Aharok’s bite, then tore Aharok’s head apart.
Even so, Aharok’s bite had already dealt heavy damage—his head was nearly shattered.
This time, Aharok’s head did not regenerate. His body slowly collapsed and dissipated. He had clearly used up the mana Hector had given him.
His mission was already fulfilled.
"W-WHERE ARE YOU, BASTARD?" the man roared, glaring around in rage.
The next moment, he sensed Hector’s presence behind him. He smirked and swung his massive blade, trying to cut Hector in half.
But he frowned as Hector managed to block the strike.
With a cold expression, Hector uttered a single word. "Justice." Yellow mana surged through his body, then flowed into his pure black sword.
"Not yet," Hector gritted his teeth as he poured all his remaining mana into the blade, triggering the trait of a blue-tier item.
His sword grew sharper than ever, slicing cleanly through half of the man’s massive blade.
The slaughterer’s face twisted in both rage and shock.
"An artifact?"
Hector’s lips curved into a crazed smile as he screamed,
"That’s right!"
In the blink of an eye, Hector cleaved both the slaughterer and his massive blade in half, his mana-sharpened sword cutting through the body of a seven–mana-core individual.
He won.
Ting!

He rubbed his eyelids, trying to clear his blurry vision. His breath grew ragged, and his power weakened due to the consequences of disbelief in [Faith of Justice].
However, he still gathered his blessing before staggering off to find a place to rest. His pure blue eyes locked onto the carriage... It was a good place to crash.
After a few minutes, he slowly sat down and released a breath with difficulty.
It hurt—a lot.
He triggered his [Divine Transmutation] Blessing.
