Green bodies the size of midgets lay stacked one each other as their lifeless bodies kept on panting the the ground red and at the center of all of this

Every inch of Gordons body now felt sour, had had fought the goblins non stop ever since he arrived back here

'Why are there soo many goblins?' He kept on taking deep breaths, as he looked to the he could see a few figures slowly approaching as they lay under the cover of the bushes

'Where is even Lucas?' He stood up pulling out his sword glancing back at the pile of bodies behind him as he raised his sword waiting for the goblins to rush out again

Before coming here, everyone was searching for Lucas and the only clue they had is that the last time the saw him he was holding that ogre girl

When they were still searching for Lucas he received a notification to go to Vice and instantly refuse but then

He reappeared back in the cave at the center of the mountain at the beginning he hoped that Lucas would here

He instantly rushed out of the mountain and past the tree's but when he reached the clear at the edge of the core region he was greeted by goblin

And ever since then he been fight

Another notification flooded his face but it meant nothing as he kept swinging his sword

His vision hazed and in that instant something pierced his left get

He groaned gritting his teeth as he cut the arrow while cutting down another goblin

He looked past the hordes of goblins in front of him into the tree's 'I have to find that archer'

He jumped back as an arrow flew to him but before he could look we it came from another pierced through the air

He tried to step back but felt the bodies behind him, he tried to his blade at it but it was still cutting through some goblins

He gritted his teeth leaning away from it direction but

It hit his shoulder, he clenched his jaw 'I have to leave this place'

With a searing pain in his shoulder he rose his blade to the sky and the goblins all shut there eyes prepared for his blinding attack but

The attack never came they opened their eyes and Gordon had charged through them still taking lives at every swing he made as he ran for the tree's

Some beared their as they ran back to him as they swarmed him in every direction he thrust his sword into the ground

The goblins grinned as they jumped back from him expecting his earth wall then [Earth spike]

Their screams again filled the air as spikes lunged at them from the earth around Gordon

"Move back!" a voice came from behind the tree, as Gordon stood panting in the middle of spikes that dotted around him as if thorns

'I can't let them regroup again' He took a deep breath as the goblins moved away from the spike then

The run to them jumping from one spike to another as the arrows rushed to him

He hopped to the last spike and jumped to the goblins that were inches away from the tree's

The moment his leg touched the ground he bolted for the tree's

Cutting anything in his path

He groaned as an arrow enters his shoulder and others arrow grazed him

"Thud"

This the last goblin in his dropped to his feet he run into the tree's

'Where are those damn goblins' his eyes dotted between three as he moved past the tree's

Some goblins rushed at him but he cut them down easily as their number was fewer that those behind him

He sliced and arrow looking up at the archers up on the tree's

He clicked his tongue as he ran past the tree the number of goblins behind him was far to great to waste climbing up tree's

And with his legs threatening to stop he couldn't waste any time

The arrows could no longer reach him and the swarm behind was getting further with every step

He swang his sword again as a few goblins kept rushing from the front

'the coming from the outer region' his speed slower down as he could see the dirt clearing past the few tree's behind in front of him

He glanced back and could see nothing, he thrust his sword onto the dirt covered with sun bleached leaves

Goblins noise filled the air as some rushed from the outer region and some behind Gordon

The hole covered its above his head but even with that he kept on going deeper

It climbed down as the other goblins rushed to his location

A goblin holding a bow stopped forward "Dig kill it while still tired"

The other goblins smiled and a few rushed to were their leader had pointed to

Digging with their claws while the others fidget in excitement

Their smiles widened as one the goblins hand pierced through the ground

As the archer opened it lips the goblins fell into the hole

Their screams echoed up to the others

No groaning no struggle just death on impact, the goblin stepped closer to the hole but slowly

The peeked inside and all they could was darkness, the goblin turned to the archer

"What now?" One of them spoke

"All step back" as the goblins stepped back it pointed to the other archers signaling them to come closer

The arrows let loose into the hole and the leaned closer his ear facing the hole

The sound was faint, it turned to the other pointing to the hole "death"

The goblins gasped as the archer told them not to jump into the hole

It looked to the goblin that pointed them to the hole "stay and lead" pointing 15 other goblins

"All go" it walked away with the other goblins leaving behind 16 goblins guarding the hole

Down the 90 feet hole Gordon lay into a tunnel next to the goblins cold bodies

His stomach growled, he looked to the bodies next to him

With his mana dried out and every muscle aching, he didn't have the luxury of being picky with his food

'Im going to kill Vice' he reached out for a goblin body

And shut his eyes as he put its leg in his mouth

'No' his body threatened to puke as it tasted the bitter blood

He took a deep breath and bit a big chunks of flesh of goblins leg 'quick'

He didn't even chew it just swallowed the meat the instant it went off the bones

In the end after the constant struggle Gordon fell to sleep

As he slumbered rock fell on to the bodies next to him, the night was uneventful

Although Gordon didn't know it he was now at primitive part of the bottom tier continent

The goblins, hobgoblins and ogres that live here operate in a tribal system

And right now the territory was surrounded by only goblin tribes
