He walked to the crystal and reached for it while the mermaids watched from afar bearing their teeth at the blood lust that was around Nyx

He reached for the crystal glancing at the mermaids and a faint smirk appeared on his face looking at Vice "who ever gave you that scroll must have wanted you dead"

He put Vice limp hand on the crystal and his on the other side then

But eventually the sky crumbled as the crystal Nyx held in his hand crumbled, his firm hands turned dainty as the skin changed pink

She turned to the mermaid who were still bearing their teeth from afar and as their numbers increased their groaning did then

"SSHHHHH" in an instant before any mermaid could touch Nyx the swamp bust from the ocean floor and lunged upward

Everything on the swamp was pushed to the ground by the rapid rise some mermaids frown as they looked up then "RETREAT"

They dragged themselves through the swamp mud moving to the edges of the rising island as the light got closer

She sighed turning to Vice floating body, a pink tentacles moved into his gapping mouth

His breathing seem to stabilise as tentacle pushed some goeey liquid into his body, the liquid moved to the shatter bones in his lamp limbs and made a brittle connection between the bones

"Good as new" She smiles as she lookec at his body "now all we have to do is wait for your body to heal natural"

The sunlight finally touched the island as the oceans waves calmed down, she looked at some of the dark clouds that lingered in the sky waiting for Vice to wake up...
