Reincarnated as Itsuka Shido: Collecting Spirits as Lovers-Chapter 176: Nightmare

Shido placed a slave crest on Coco Doll when Clementine defeated all of his guards. Unlike when Shido used Pledge of Binding Will on female that gave them heart shape crest, a skull mark appeared on Coco Doll's body that look sinister.

Coco Doll was so frightened by what just happened so he couldn't react at all when Shido put a slave crest in his body. After all, he was just an ordinary human and wasn't like the head of security department that was as strong as adamantite adventurer, in addition, he was cowardly and have a weak will.

"Now, tell me everything you knew." Shido stare at Coco Doll with threatening gaze that made his body cold.

"Please don't kill me! I will tell you everything I know!" Coco Doll know his situation well so he quickly surrendered, he treasured his life after all. His guards was lying on the ground, unknown if they are still alive or not. As for Succulent it was better to assume that he was dead since he could see that the nature of the people in front of him wasn't a kind one, except the golden haired girl.

Seeing that Coco Doll was hugging his feet and crying like a child, Shido wanted to kick him away but Clementine was faster.

"Don't touch my master, you piece of homo trash!" Clementine sent him crashing to the wall, almost passing out while scolding Coco Doll.

Shido could only shook his head and looked at Rumia who had now calmed down. But Shido knew that Rumia felt unease inside since she couldn't help him with anything. Knowing this, Shido thought of something and said to her. "Rumia, can you heal him? I'm afraid Clementine's kick would directly sent him to the after life."

"Mooo~ Are you saying that I'm as strong as a Gorilla or something, Master~?" Clementine looked at Shido and pouted, but he didn't look at her antics and focused on Rumia.

Hearing his words, Rumia's eyes, brightened and and she quickly nodded "Un! I'll do it!"

Rumia walk towards Coco Doll and squatted. She extend her hands towards his bleeding head and took a deep breath before she began chanting causing a golden magic circle to appear

"The angels' blessings be with you."

Shido observed her from the side and watch as he heal Coco Doll. The wound on his body quickly healed and Coco Doll consciousness became clearer.

Clementine also peeked at them behind Shido and she could tell that this golden haired girl that was with her master was at least 3rd tier magic caster. The efficiency of her healing magic was much more higher than most ordinary magic caster placing Rumia above them.

When Rumia was done with her job, she stood up and skip happily towards Shido. She stopped in front of him and look at him as if she was asking if she did a good job. Shido could almost see a tail behind her that was wagging cheerfully for her master to praise her.

Of course Shido didn't disappoint Rumia and patted her head making her joyful and enjoy his warm hands that was caressing her hair.

"You did well, Rumia."

Clementine saw this and she became jealous, she also leaned closer to him and tug Shido by his sleeve and said "Master, I did great too, right? right?"

Shido was speechless by her behavior 'Are you a child?' but he could only smile wryly and also pat her head making Clementine feel the warmth of life for the first time.

'It wasn't bad at all...' she thought.

After a short moment of coaxing them, Shido them proceeded to get information from Coco Doll. Now, Coco Doll didn't react exaggeratedly and told them everything he know, from his job as the head of slave trade, the slaves, six arms, the other members of eight fingers and the nobles that are supporting them.

Coco Doll even mentioned that the Barbro Andrean Ield Ryle Vaiself, the crown prince of Re-Estize Kingdom have some ties with the eight fingers. However, Shido wasn't surprised, after all he was an incompetent person so he have to asked help from outside party and a strong one at that to fight for the throne against his brother.

It took them at least an hour before Coco Doll finished his talk. Shido was silent and thought to use eight fingers to conquer this kingdom. After all, they already have most noble to support them and what Shido only had to do was to place slave crest on each one of them so them would be his loyal dogs that will do his command.

And Coco Doll coincidently told Shido that there would be a meeting of eight fingers tomorrow night making it a great chance to swipe them all at once. Even he only send Clementine, Shido know that she could subdue all of them. Clementine was after all already on the ranks of hero, if she had her equipment then she could even defeat Gazef Stonoff, the head knight of Re-Estize and considered the strongest person in this kingdom with minimal effort.

"Lead me to the room where you placed the slaves." After devising a plan on his mind, Shido then uttered to Coco Doll to lead them to the slaves.

Coco Doll was now obedient and didn't think of something malicious. After all Shido had explained to him the effect of this slave crest and he also experience that pain that was tearing his soul so he had completely gave up.

They walked towards the underground floor of the house and quickly arrived on the basement under the guidance of Coco Doll. There were two guards guarding the entrance of the basement, they were quickly attracted by the footsteps that were coming towards them and saw that it was their boss.

They greeted him but their eyes then focused on the two stunning girls behind him and their eyes were filled with desire.

"Hello boss. Is that two our new items? You're so lucky to find two beautiful woman boss, I wonder if we cou-" One of the guards walked forward while eyeing Rumia and Clementine, completely ignoring Shido who was walking with them.

He began talking with disgusting words making the two girls frown. Coco Doll was sweating profusely and wanted to slap and beat this bastard to death but before he could do that the guard, the guard suddenly fall to the ground, unconscious. However, his face was twisted in pain, as if he was suffering greatly.

Coco Doll saw this and turned his head towards Shido and know that he was the one that did this. Rumia and Clementine was also curious, they could see that the guard's face was like having the worst nightmare of his life. They look at Shido, but he just smiled at them causing their curiosity to fade and replaced by strange feeling.

Shido then continued to walked towards the basement along with Rumia, Clementine and Coco Doll. The other guard was still stunned at the scene that happened in front of him but before he could ask his boss what was going on, he also fall unconscious to the ground with his face also writhing pain.

That's right, Shido used his skill Sleep, but what he used was it's other ability 'Nightmare' which allowed him to bring forth the person's trauma and let it haunt them until they die.
