Reincarnated By The Weakest Primordial Being(but with OP growth twist)-Chapter 19: Hazzy’s Fiancé
Before AK could respond, two figures appeared on the horizon, slowly making their way toward the group. Their silhouettes shimmered against the faint glow of the dungeon gate, and as they drew closer, the very air seemed to shift. Even from a distance, their presence commanded attention. Heads turned instinctively. Conversations paused mid-sentence.
They were breathtaking. Not just beautiful—but radiant in a way that could freeze time itself.
One of them was Maya.
AK’s breath caught in his throat the instant his eyes landed on her. For a moment, his heart pounded so violently it almost hurt. She’s here... he thought, almost unable to process the reality before him. The soft breeze toyed with her long hair as if nature itself bent to her grace. Her calm, composed steps exuded power—strength born not from arrogance but from unshakable confidence.
But then—his eyes drifted. Past Maya. To the second girl.
And his entire body went rigid.
She was just as stunning, her beauty of a different shade—warm yet sharp, like a blade wrapped in velvet. Her aura... it struck him like a hammer, flooding him with something far more dangerous than awe. It wasn’t just familiarity. It was nostalgia laced with terror.
No... no way...
Hazzy, oblivto the storm raging inside AK, stepped forward with his usual charismatic smile. "Hello!" he greeted the newcomer warmly.
AK couldn’t move. His eyes stayed locked on her. The longer he stared, the tighter his chest grew. His mind scrambled, denial warring with certainty. His lips parted, trembling as the truth clawed its way out of his throat.
At first, it came as a whisper. Then, louder—so loud it startled even himself.
"YOU...!"
The word cracked through the air like a thunderclap.
Aisha.
The name screamed inside his skull, tearing apart every defense he had built since his return. Aisha—the woman who, in the erased timeline, had been Hazzy’s fiancée. The woman who smiled with such warmth in another life, standing beside Hazzy even in the darkest days after the Great Catastrophe.
She... she’s here.
The memories slammed into AK with brutal clarity. Aisha had first met Hazzy long before the Great Catastrophe, in a dimly lit gaming café. Hazzy, obsessed with virtual worlds, spent countless hours battling in pixelated arenas—an undeniable game addict. That chance meeting had been the spark that ignited everything between them. From casual conversations to late-night gaming sessions, friendship blossomed. Then came the stolen glances, the laughter that lingered too long, and finally, the inevitable—love. They became inseparable, and before long, Hazzy proposed.
But there was a twist to fate’s cruel game. Hazzy only introduced Aisha to us as his fiancée three years after the Great Catastrophe, a delay none of us fully understood. And now, she was here, standing in a place where she absolutely should not be. The dungeon was no ordinary battleground—it was a death trap crawling with horrors beyond comprehension. Among them the Corrupted Hunters are residing in this dungeon, a group feared by even the bravest warriors. And leading this team in this dungeon was Luv. A name that sent a chill down AK’s spine.
AK’s stomach churned violently, but somehow, he forced his face into something resembling composure. Fighting the quake in his voice, he managed a greeting.
"Hello," he said softly.
Aisha returned the gesture with a smile so warm it could melt steel. "Hello," she replied, her voice calm and kind.
But everything felt wrong. From AK’s perspective, this was the woman destined to share Hazzy’s fate. And yet... watching Hazzy’s expression now, AK saw none of the recognition, none of the history he expected. In fact, Hazzy looked as though he were meeting her for the very first time.
Then Hazzy spoke—and his words slammed into AK like a hammer.
"Is that you? The one who applied to join our guild, Miss Aisha?"
AK froze. The air turned to lead in his lungs.
What?! She’s joining Hazzy for the first time? Weren’t they engaged before the Great Catastrophe? This... this means they haven’t fallen in love yet. If they aren’t in love, then they aren’t engaged. Then what the hell is happening?! My mind’s gonna explode...
Thoughts ricocheted inside his skull like bullets. This wasn’t just a ripple in the timeline. This was a storm.
While AK was drowning in his internal chaos, the others laughed and chatted as though the world hadn’t just tilted on its axis. Phaphy was grinning. Ash cracked a joke. Hazzy asked a few casual questions to Aisha, completely oblivious to the significance she held in AK’s erased reality.
And then—Maya moved.
Her steps were silent but heavy with authority as she approached AK. Her sharp eyes locked onto his face, reading every flicker of confusion and unease he failed to hide.
"You said there was something important to discuss here," she said evenly, voice like a blade dipped in silk.
AK didn’t respond. He couldn’t. His thoughts were a hurricane, pulling him deeper into chaos.
Maya’s brow furrowed. She tilted her head slightly, then took another step forward—close enough that he could feel the cool dominance in her aura.
"Why are you glaring at me? Are you not interested in answering?" she asked, her tone calm but laced with a dangerous edge.
That snapped him out of it. Sort of. Shaking his head, AK forced himself to breathe.
"I... called you here because I heard something about this dungeon," he said quickly, trying to steady his voice. "Inside, there are corrupted hunters roaming around—killing others and looting their accessories."
Maya’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Corrupted hunters?"
AK nodded, a grim expression settling on his face as memories from the erased timeline clawed at his mind. Back then, there were five of them inside this very dungeon, he thought, his fists clenching so tightly that his knuckles turned pale. I couldn’t defeat them—not even close. I was powerless.
But then came HRX. Like a storm, he had entered the dungeon to face the Corrupted Hunters head-on. AK could still remember the earth-shaking clash between HRX and Luv—a battle so fierce that its echoes still haunted him. HRX had turned the tide when no one else could.
And that was why AK had called Maya. She was the strongest hunter he had met in this timeline, his trump card. Because deep down, he wasn’t sure HRX even existed here. If he did, Maya would never have become the guild leader. That alone tells me the truth... this timeline is different. And even this time I have friends to raid this dungeon with in the erased timeline I just because of bravery raid this dungeon alone.
"If it’s about corrupted hunters," Maya said after a moment, her lips curling into a cold, determined smile, "I’m ready to join this dungeon raid."
AK suppressed the smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. Perfect. My plan worked.
But as Maya turned away, her mind whispered a thought dripping with doubt: Did I make a mistake joining this bastard’s raid?
Meanwhile, Phaphy turned to Hazzy, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "We’re only E-rank hunters right now. How did you even get an entry pass for a D-rank dungeon?"
Hazzy chuckled, pointing a casual thumb at AK. "It’s all AK’s doing. When I messaged him yesterday, he told me to get a D-rank pass instead of E or F. And specifically for this dungeon. He also said—take Maya’s name, and they’ll hand over the pass effortlessly."
Maya’s expression snapped like glass under pressure. She spun toward AK, fury flashing in her eyes. "You used my name to get the pass?!"
AK ignored the blaze in her glare and turned to Hazzy, his tone sharp. "I told you to keep that a secret!"
Hazzy smirked, feigning innocence. "When did you say that? I don’t remember."
"Yesterday! While we were chatting! Let me show you," AK shot back, pulling out his phone like a soldier drawing his blade. He scrolled quickly, searching for the proof that would shut Hazzy up.
And then... his blood ran cold.
The message wasn’t there.
His jaw tightened as the horror sank in. It didn’t send?!
"Uh... BSNL network issue," he stammered, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish grin. "Not my fault."
Hazzy rolled his eyes so hard they nearly spun out of his skull. "Whatever. I don’t care. Let’s just start the raid."
And with that, the group moved toward the dungeon gate, its glowing surface humming with eerie energy.
As they approached, AK fell into step beside Hazzy, his voice dropping to a low, almost teasing tone.
"So... are you in love with Aisha?" he asked casually, though his pulse hammered in his throat.
Hazzy stopped mid-step. Slowly, he turned his head, and the look in his eyes was colder than death itself.
"No," he said flatly.
The single word sliced through the air like a blade, heavy with a weight that made AK’s stomach twist.
Hazzy turned away, walking toward the gate without another word.
And for the first time since he returned, AK felt something crawl down his spine—a feeling he hadn’t experienced in two timelines.
Dread.
Something was wrong. Terribly wrong.
