Reincarnated By The Weakest Primordial Being(but with OP growth twist)-Chapter 26: Training Time
AK slowly walked toward Maya, his heartbeat pounding in his chest like a war drum. His steps felt heavy, and yet, he tried to make them look casual. A faint blush painted his cheeks as he greeted her in a soft tone, almost like a whisper.
"Hi..."
Maya turned her head, her long black hair swaying like a dark river. She looked at AK with a sharp but amused expression. Her lips curled into a small smile, the kind that made AK’s stomach flip.
Behind them, Hazzy, Ash, Phaphy, and Aisha stood in a loose group, their eyes darting back and forth between AK and Maya. They didn’t say a word out loud, but the way their eyes moved spoke volumes.
What’s this? Hazzy’s sharp eyes narrowed. Is this guy... blushing at Maya?
Ash caught Hazzy’s look and smirked, his eyebrow rising as if to say, Oh boy, he’s doomed.
Phaphy tilted her head slightly, giving Aisha a questioning glance. Aisha, calm and composed as always, just gave a small shrug, though her eyes betrayed curiosity.
The silent conversation was loud enough to be felt in the air, and AK, completely oblivious, kept his gaze fixed on Maya.
"Aren’t you late?" Maya said finally, her voice carrying a tone of authority that made even Hazzy stiffen slightly. "What made you late, AK?"
AK straightened his back instantly, like a soldier before his commander. He took a deep breath, then, in a tone that was both respectful and slightly dramatic, he replied:
"Sorry for being late. The guild master of the guild The Hunter—this lowly bastard from White Tiger, the smallest guild of Bihar—greets you."
The words left his mouth smoothly, but the moment they hit Hazzy’s ears, it was like throwing gasoline on fire. Hazzy’s jaw tightened, his fists clenched, and his eyes burned with barely restrained rage.
"How dare he say that?!" Hazzy hissed under his breath, his teeth grinding. "White Tiger... the smallest guild of Bihar?! I’m going to rip him apart—"
Ash placed a calming hand on Hazzy’s arm. "Ignore it, big brother," he said with a sly grin. "It’s obvious what’s going on here. He’s trying to flirt with Maya."
Hazzy froze mid-step, turning his head slowly toward Ash. "Flirt...? With Maya?"
Phaphy, who had been quiet so far, suddenly leaned in with a mischievous smile. "How do you know so much about flirting, Ash? Are you hiding something? Maybe you’re in love with someone?"
Ash’s eyes widened slightly, and for the first time in a long while, he stumbled for words. "W-What? No! I’m just—observant, okay?"
Aisha, who had been quietly observing the entire scene, spoke in a low, calm tone. "Let him say that, Sir Hazzy. Ash is telling the truth."
Hazzy blinked and turned to her. "Sir Hazzy? You don’t need to call me that, Miss Aisha."
Phaphy and Ash exchanged a glance, and then, unable to hold it in any longer, they both burst into silent laughter—clutching their stomachs as they tried not to make a sound.
Meanwhile, Maya arched an eyebrow, completely ignoring the chaos behind her. "Thanks for the greetings," she said coolly, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "But that didn’t answer my question. Why are you late? Aren’t you supposed to be punctual?"
AK cleared his throat, trying to regain composure. "I-It’s because it took time to gather everyone. We... didn’t know the exact address of The Hunter Guild."
Maya crossed her arms and sighed. "Fine. Just follow me."
"Ok," AK replied quickly, and then turned to gesture for his team to follow.
As they walked through the grand halls of The Hunter Guild, AK found himself inching closer to Hazzy. Lowering his voice so only Hazzy could hear, he asked, "Why is Aisha here? I told you to bring the members of the White Tiger Guild."
Hazzy rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "I... forgot to mention it, but after yesterday’s raid, Aisha called me and said she wanted to join our guild."
AK stopped for a moment, blinking in surprise. "And you... let her join?"
Hazzy gave a firm nod. "Yes."
AK smirked, his lips curling into a sly grin. Without another word, he sped up and walked closer to Maya again, leaving Hazzy confused.
Behind them, Phaphy and Ash noticed the smirk. They exchanged another glance, their thoughts aligning without a word. He’s plotting something...
The guild headquarters was massive—a towering structure of steel and stone, its interior decorated with banners, glowing crystals, and intricate carvings of legendary beasts. The sound of distant clashing steel echoed faintly, like whispers of war.
Finally, they reached a large reinforced door. Standing guard at the entrance was Ajay, a towering figure with a calm but intimidating presence. His broad shoulders and scarred face told stories of countless battles.
"Ajay," Maya greeted him with a nod.
Ajay bowed slightly in return, his eyes softening only for her. "Guild Master."
The others greeted Ajay respectfully, and he returned the gesture with a short nod. Then, with a heavy creak, he pushed open the door.
Behind the door was a massive training hall, its centerpiece a glowing fighting ring surrounded by racks of weapons, training dummies, and magical barriers. The air smelled faintly of sweat and burning mana, and the sound of crackling energy filled the space.
Maya stepped forward, her boots clicking against the polished floor. "This," she said, spreading her arms, "is where Ajay and I will personally train you all."
The word personally echoed in AK’s head like a sacred mantra. His face turned bright red as images of him and Maya training alone flashed through his mind.
Maya’s sharp eyes caught his expression instantly, and she smirked. "I didn’t say anything that should make you blush, you idiot."
Everyone burst into laughter. Even Aisha cracked a small smile. AK scratched the back of his head, muttering something under his breath that no one could hear.
"Enough," Maya said firmly, regaining control of the room. Her tone became serious as she looked at each of them one by one. "The reason I called you all here is simple. What happened yesterday... was because of your lack of experience and strength."
Her words cut deep, like cold steel. None of them could argue—because it was true.
"So," Maya continued, her eyes gleaming with determination, "this training will change that. By the time I’m done with you, you’ll not only have strength... but the skill to survive in the world that’s coming."
Maya stepped into the center of the training hall, her boots clicking against the polished floor. Her sharp gaze swept over the group, making each of them straighten unconsciously.
"First lesson," she said, her voice firm but calm. "If you can’t even hold your weapon properly, you have no right to call yourself a fighter."
Her words carried weight. Even Hazzy, who always acted tough, felt a chill run down his spine. Maya walked toward the weapon rack and picked up a sleek steel sword. The blade shimmered under the bright light of the training hall, its edge so sharp that it looked like it could slice through air itself.
"Come closer," she ordered.
AK, Hazzy, Ash, and Aisha gathered around her. AK’s eyes lit up—he had always admired swords in games and anime, but holding one in real life under Maya’s supervision felt... different. Special.
Maya demonstrated the proper stance, her posture flawless, her movements precise. "Grip the hilt firmly, but not too tight," she said, her hands moving gracefully along the blade. "Your strength doesn’t come from force alone—it comes from balance and control."
She positioned her feet, bending her knees slightly. "Your center of gravity should be low. This keeps you stable. If you’re unstable, you’re dead before the fight even begins."
The group nodded seriously.
"Now, your turn," she said, handing a sword to AK first.
The moment AK’s fingers wrapped around the hilt, a surge of excitement shot through him. This is it... this is the start of something real.
But the moment he tried to mimic Maya’s stance, she sighed and shook her head. "Wrong."
Before he could react, Maya moved behind him and placed her hands on his arms and shoulders, adjusting his posture. Her touch was firm but... gentle. AK felt his heart skip a beat. Stay calm. Stay calm, he told himself, but the warmth of her hands made his face flush red again.
"You’re too stiff," Maya said, her breath brushing against his ear. "Relax. Fighting isn’t about brute force—it’s about precision. Control your breathing. Feel the weight of the blade as an extension of your body."
"Y-Yes..." AK stammered, trying his best to focus.
Hazzy, standing nearby, clenched his fists. Why does he get that treatment?!
Meanwhile, on the other side of the hall, Ajay was teaching Phaphy the art of magic. He stood tall, his presence commanding, yet his tone was calm and patient. A glowing magic circle appeared in his hand, radiating a faint blue light.
"Magic isn’t just about chanting spells," Ajay explained. "It’s about control. Mana is like water—it flows naturally, but if you don’t guide it, it will drown you."
Phaphy nodded, her eyes wide with fascination. "So... how do I control it?"
Ajay extended his hand toward her. "Close your eyes. Feel the energy inside you. Don’t force it. Guide it gently, like you’re holding something fragile."
Phaphy closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Slowly, she began to feel a warm current flowing within her. She raised her hand, and a faint spark of light flickered at her fingertips.
"That’s it," Ajay said with a rare smile. "Now focus. Visualize the shape of the spell."
A small magic circle formed in front of Phaphy, glowing faintly. She opened her eyes in awe. "I... did it!"
Ajay nodded. "Good. But don’t celebrate yet. This is only the first step."
For the next hour, the training continued. Maya moved from person to person, correcting stances, demonstrating footwork, and drilling the importance of speed and precision. Ajay, on the other hand, pushed Phaphy to refine her mana control and even gave Aisha and Ash some tips on basic combat techniques.
Sweat dripped from their foreheads, their muscles ached, but no one complained. They could feel themselves growing stronger—bit by bit.
Just as Maya was about to demonstrate an advanced movement, the large door creaked open. A man in a black coat stepped in and bowed respectfully.
"Guild Master," he said in a low tone, "someone wishes to meet you."
Maya frowned slightly, then turned to Ajay. "Continue the training. Don’t let them slack off. Push them harder if you have to."
Ajay placed his hand on his chest and bowed. "As you command."
Without another word, Maya left the hall with the man in black, her long coat swaying behind her. The sound of her boots faded into silence.
The moment she was gone, Ajay’s calm smile vanished, replaced by a stern expression that sent chills down everyone’s spine.
"You heard the Guild Master," Ajay said, his voice like thunder. "Pick up your weapons. From this moment on, there is no mercy."
He clapped his hands, and the training hall’s magic barriers flared to life, trapping them inside the ring.
AK gulped. Hazzy cracked his knuckles with a grin. Ash muttered, "Oh crap."
Ajay raised his voice, booming across the hall:
"If you thought the last hour was hard... prepare yourselves. The real training starts now!"
