"We won!!"

As Lamda-kun was teleported out of the match, I couldn't help but express my joy aloud.

Boy, oh boy, so fun was that battle. I really had a blast! It was truly a marvelous surprise that we had a freshman with an advanced job already—«Caliburn Paladin», a high ranking mid tier job. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

My favourite part was definitely when our unique skill—«Excalibur» and «Brave Sword»—clashed. The thrilling sensation, and the burst of shockwave had truly cranked the tension meter to max.

I could still feel the lingering sensation of my rapidly drumming heart. I was, and I really mean it, truly content with the match. Honestly, it was so amazing I had trouble finding words to string together my feelings. My body felt so light as the exhilaration washed over me. With the adrenaline still hot in my body, I was sure I would be going all out against next opponents right off the bat.

What I really enjoyed was that Lamda-kun had «Caliburn Paladin» for his advanced job. With its capability and high-ranking, it was hugely popular among players. The charm of «Caliburn Paladin» lay in its specialisation of attack and tank role. Further up in upgrade, the job holders would even be able to deploy Seraph's Domain—a 5th or 6th order skill.

Seraph's Domain granted any ally within the zone a potent resistance against traps and environmental damage via sacred power, a perfect fit for tanks in the dungeons. Though with the advanced job unlocking an offensive unique skill, it also opened up a path as a primary attacker for those who wished so.

I believe Lamda-kun had begun on the path of offense. No wait, he also had considerable tank skills and robustness, so I guess... a hybrid? Oh well, there's no wrong path when building «Caliburn Paladin», which made it one of the most recommended jobs for newbies. Oh, though it's not to say it's suggested only to beginners.

As the proverb goes, a tool's role is decided by the holder. While it was beginner friendly, could you imagine a skilled person building a job that's oriented for tank and offense? That would be one hell of a combo. Thus, it's also often recommended among veterans.

Ahem, I sidetracked, but overall, everything—though confrontation against Lamda-kun was the highlight, his teammates were no less impressive—culminates to push me to get it in seriousness.

Their offense was sharp. The twin sword girl, especially, had quite a knack to target me just when I would be unable to deal. I really couldn't escape from her grasp. She was the kind of opponent I knew I would have to compromise to struck down. I was really cutting close, you know?

The beam user's suppressive shots were on point, but a pity for him, ranged attack doen't work against Brave. As long as you know you're being targeted by a skill, you could just side-stepped to get out of skill's area. Besides, my supre reflexes would also kick in to make me avoid the danger.

It was my «Cooldown Reduction Lv10» from «Gloria Salvator» along with «Brave Heart Lv10» that decided the outcome of the current match. Needless to say, any thing that reduces the cooldown of skills et cetera was a huge plus, and this passive skill of mine effectively reduced the CD of other skills by half. It was on par with strategic assets without any hyperbole.

Plus, at level 10, the passive skill also increased the upper limit of any skill or spell—limited to once per match, or battle—by count of one. I could fire off «Brave Heart» twice in one match.

Mine opponent's teamwork was eye-catching, so much that I had to use my trump card, and eliminate the twin sword girl first, followed by beam user.

Lamda-kun had great insight too, immediately perceiving that relying on skills much wouldn't do, and changed to normal attacks. But a pity, he couldn't strike a balance between skill demanding situations and normal attacks, ultimately coasting him dearly. It was no wonder he was a step behind at the end.

Well, either way, this allowed me to send his two teammates outside of the arena. Atleast, it finally had him use «Judgment Strike». It was a surefire move, if only his opponent wasn't me. My agility under the influence of «Brave Heart» had risen by 2.8 times, so I had plenty of time to put up a countermeasure. With the help of CD reduction passive skill, my «Brave Slash» was all but ready to confront. And I won.

«Brave Slash» already had quite a short CD, 180 seconds, despite it being a unique skill, and passive skill further reduced to 90 seconds. He didn't see it coming. And under the buff of «Brave Heart», it was a one hit kill.

My gaze dropped to my HP. It was hovering at the 50% mark. Phew, that was close.

"«Aura Heal»! Alright, time to go through others!"

I turned my attention to others, and noticed Pamela and Rika's opponent was stunned silly at the elimination of Lamda-kun, and unable to recover from shock, they're quickly dispatched.

I had healed myself, so the next step was to bring down Class-51. And just as I had thought so, I caught up to the fall of Class-12's base. Within my expected calculation, Ester, Lana, and Mert's team from Class-8 had brought it down.
