Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire-Chapter 187: You spin me right round
The smashing of glass behind me was better than any battle cries.
"Destroyer, get in the guy's face! If you can get him to slap himself by trying to get you, you will be the hero of the entire Bee Empire."
"Yes, Father!"
Now the human towered with all its height over us. As I flew toward a place to sting, he shouted something and reached with his right hand behind us and toward the vials.
"Hey, where the fuck you are putting those grabby hooks at?! Leave my girls alone, asshole!"
The man paid zero attention to my shouts. His eyes were focused only on the vials, and with his left hand, he haphazardly tried to wave me and Destroyer off.
The attack didn't even come close to us!
Gritting my teeth, I flew toward the man's waist. It was the closest point for stinging—the hands moved too fast for me to land at.
I just had to be faster than the man. But I couldn't.
I heard alarmed shouts behind me and turned my head to see.
This bastard grabbed Malevolence's vial right from under the Beemarines' nose! One still hung on his finger for a second, trying to free Malevolence, but then lost her grip and fell off.
The man clenched the vial in his strangely shaped fist and raised it away from us; his focus finally went to the bees flying toward him.
'Too late!' I thought gleefully.
In this moment, Destroyer made an air pirouette that threw her right in front of the man's eyes. It was such a sharp and sudden movement that he jerked away on reflex and took a step back before even trying to shoo her off.
Thankfully, by now I already got a grip on the hem of the man's tunic. The man's groin was only 20 or 30 meters away from me, and although I had a temptation to sting him in the balls, there was no time.
Also, I wasn't going to touch a guy's balls even to sting him to death, that'd be gay.
Instead, I just used the distraction to crawl under the flapping cloth, climbing the ropes like an upward rope ladder with speed and precision given to me by my genetic attribute advancements and the title boost.
As soon as I reached the chitin underneath, I stuck my stinger in him and flew away, leaving it behind.
〔You deal 79 damage. The target is poisoned!〕
The man choked on his own scream of pain. My sting must've landed not deep enough, or was too far from major blood vessels, but it dealt less damage than the last time.
Nevertheless, the man was on his last health points.
As I flew back to not get flattened by his dead body, I saw him cough and convulse, falling to his knees.
I grinned with satisfaction, then saw the hand which was still clenching the vial with Malevolence!
My grin disappeared, and my heart jumped in my throat.
In the heat of a fight, I didn't consider what will happen with Malevolence if her vial falls! Maybe she will just get out of jail free, but she could die just as easily!
"Beemarines, quickly—get ready to catch Malevolence! Beehounds, carry the body away from here!" I shouted.
Without waiting for confirmation that my orders were heard, I flew toward the clenched fist. With a corner of my eye, I saw that other Beemarines followed—even those who were just freed and barely held on their wings.
I beat my wings as fast as I could, while the dying man waved his fist around, probably hurting Malevolence even more. It was impossible to land on the erratically moving man, but I did my best to stay close in case he dropped the vial.
My Beemarines were too far to be even here.
〔The human dies!〕
With the last shuddering gasp, the dying man fell at last. His hands flopped on the floor and finally, *finally*, stopped moving.
Seventy meters away from me, a fist finally unclenched and a glass vial rolled out of it. I saw Malevolence inside, looking even worse than before, but blessedly alive—she lost a few health points, but Beemarines were tough.
A heavy weight fell from my chest.

However, now her vial was rapidly rolling away from me and the Beemarines.
Malevolence was clinging to the vial's cork and spinning as I flew after her. The floor here was slanted toward the exit, and this is where we were going.
"Dammit! Stop rolling already!" I shouted after it. "Oh, come on!"
I could tell that if the vial won't stop, my Beemarines will get winded long before we reach it.
'That's alright. Malevolence will be alright, and we still have some time to deal with the shit here.'
I shouldn't have said that!
Maybe not all the time, but *half* the time those words just let the universe slap me with a red flag.
Now, as I almost reached Malevolence's vial, Crusher-31—a Beemarine from the lookout team—ran in from the outside.
At the sight of what was going on inside, she paused, and her eyes widened even more.
At this moment, Malevolence's vial finally stopped rolling—only five meters away from Crusher-31. Inside of it, Malevolence let go of the cork and fell to the glass. She had only 1 stamina left.
Crusher-31 stared at her with abject horror for another moment before regaining her composure.
"Father, the green giants are moving all over, and one is coming here!"
I cursed under my breath.
My lookout didn't have a huge field of view. If they saw someone coming close, and were sure they were coming here specifically, then I had less than a minute!
Or even *way* less than a minute.
"Alright. One giant—I can still take out one giant. Crusher-31, call your team here and help with freeing Malevolence. I will take care of this one, too."
I sent a reassuring smile to Malevolence, silently promising to get her out, and flew up to get into position.
'This door doesn't open inside, right? Being smacked by a door will be too much for one day!'
