"Woah, this is smaller than I imagined, but not as small either…"

Aquarina glanced at the Spiritual Formation created to make the offerings to the Oasis Spirit. It was triangle shaped unlike the usual circles and had three nodes at each corner.

Each node was made out of the stones and corals from the oasis, placed together into small circles, and the triangle was defined using blue paint, which would then be replaced with water spirit crystal dust.

However, they found themselves with few materials, so the help of Aquarina was rather vital, she glanced at the nodes, noticing their imperfections and the runes that were missing right away.

"So we plan to place the formation's ingredients in each of these circles, and then the true offerings go in the middle, we fill the rest with such offerings," explained Agua's mom. "That way, we'll be able to call out the Oasis Spirit."

"Isn't she quite greedy for a spirit? asking for all these offerings… not even us would ask this much, right?" Smilkas commented, as she floated around, watching the place.

The chief and the other shamans were surprised of the presence of such a strong spirit right away, and she looked unlike anything they've ever seen before.

Even more, it was very rare for any spirit other than the Oasis Spirit to speak so openly and human-like.

"T-That's a Spirit of the Earth?"

"Wow…"

"She's speaking like a human…"

"Well, she seems powerful."

The shamans were surprised, most of them covered their faces with blue or golden veils, and also wore long robes, all part of their culture.

"Well yes, it is well known that the Oasis Spirit is a bit… greedy," the chief nodded. "But with what my daughter and her friends brought yesterday; we should be able to give her a lot of great offerings. Anyways, Aquarina, Agua, and perhaps your friends too? Pyuku? Would it be possible for you to help us reinforce and finish the formation? The heroes could also help if possible, any help is appreciated."

"Sure, I think I kind of got the gist of it," Aquarina nodded. "Hey Leviathan! Undine! Help me out as well!"

"Rooaarr!"

"Alright."

Aquarina's spirits quickly flew to her side, as she started pouring the dust and scribing runes that would go along the ones that were already made.

These runes would combine into a powerful "spell" that would unleash the formation, it seemed to be an invocation, sacrificial, and elemental summoning spell all combined together.

She had to stack the runes of similar spells together and connect them with special connecting runes, it was a tedious work for sure, but her mother and her father believed this would help her get better at using runes.

Pyuku was still learning how to inscribe runes to begin with, but he provided with his magical and supernatural energies, improving the flow of energies into the formation.

Silvia and Justicio helped by drawing the runes that Aquarina told them to copy, which then would be finished by her mother and her father.

Agua also joined, using her Water Magic to bind the magical flow of energies within the formation into a stronger, growing spell.

"Yes, just like that, keep concentrating your Mana into it, Aquarina."

Nepheline constantly instructed Aquarina, as the girl sighed, constantly doing as her mother said.

Like that, four whole hours passed in the blink of an eye, and it was already around time for lunch.

"Phew, we're finally done I believe…" the chief said, cleaning the sweat off her forehead as she glanced at the sky. "Shall we have lunch, heroes? I believe you could do with eating something before you depart!"

"Sure, if you insist," nodded Nepheline.

"Yeah, I'm quite hungry, let us help you out cooking if anything," Shade said.

As her parents nodded, Aquarina dropped exhausted over the sand, sighing in relief.

"Ugh, finally done?! I'm dead tired! What the hell was that? Man…"

As she complained constantly about the job she was forced to do, her friends walked by her side.

"It was tiring but you're exaggerating a bit…" Silvia said.

"Yeah, let's just go eat already," Justicio nodded.

"Thank you for helping so much, Aquarina!" Agua said, taking a towel and cleaning Aquarina's sweat from her forehead and arms. "Let me clean your sweat at least…"

"E-Eh? Stop it!" Aquarina panicked, getting embarrassed as she felt her armpits being rubbed. "Y-You don't need to go so far…"

"Hahaha! She got embarrassed!" Silvia giggled, mocking her a bit.

"Come on, you shouldn't mock her back though…" Justicio sighed.

"O-Oh, sorry…" Agua muttered. "I wanted to be of help…"

"It's alright, I can clean myself easily anyways," Aquarina patted her head, standing up. "Let's go eat though, I'm starving~"

"I also feel quite hungry, I think I spent mostly all my Mana on this…" Pyuku nodded.

As she walked back to the village with her friends, she felt her connection with her spirits having grown stronger.

Aquarina felt surprised she was rewarded this much after her efforts, she believed only through a lot of fighting she could gain this much, but it seemed there were always other alternate paths out there.

"I gained a new Skill too?"

Her eyebrows raised for a bit, noticing the new Skill she had acquired. It seemed to be related to what she had been doing for over four hours.

"This Skill could help me out a lot…"

Ideas already started flowing through her mind, as Aquarina found out the potential of this Skill was grander than its name indicated.
