Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?-Chapter 1682: Back Home
Chapter 1682: Back Home
-----
The Ant Queen, weakened and slow, was unable to fight back properly as Aquarina’s magic and techniques blew holes through her, Silvia and her hammer crushed her limbs, and Justicio’s attacks devastated her body with deep, crushing wounds, all while Agua and Pyuku kept her in place and constantly fired powerful magic at her, such as explosive psychic attacks from the slime and devastating freezing icicles from the priestess.
"SHYAAAAGH...!"
Eventually, and while groaning in frustration, the third Ant Queen screamed and breathed her last, slowly falling to the ground, her massive body cooling down slowly until there wasn’t any more internal heat to power up her movements, as if she were a machine fueled by flames and coal.
BAAAM!
As the monster finally perished, Aquarina and her group celebrated, their team effort was more than enough to defeat an Ant Queen in just three minutes, a new record time!
"We did it!" Silvia celebrated. "Wooohh!" freewebnσvel.cѳm
"It still was tougher than I imagined, these damn monsters are sure hard to kill..." Justicio nodded with a proud smile. "But it didn’t expect us all to charge at it from the start, so it met its end quite fast anyway."
"And about them knowing about us beforehand, do you think she knew too?" Wondered Silvia.
"I think she did," said Agua. "She clearly wasn’t expecting us to win so easily though..."
"Hmm, I guess that’s about that. Although it might be confirmed they got some sort of mental connection or telepathy between the ants, it doesn’t really matter," Aquarina shrugged. "However they try to adapt doesn’t matter, we can crush them with our brute force, heh."
"You don’t have to say it that way or we sound like dumbasses..." Justicio sighed. "But yeah, with you and Agua around, perhaps even Pyuku, these fire ants were really easy to take down. Water and ice is their most terrible weakness, especially icy water. I guess that’s why they live in the desert, where there’s rarely any water, so they live mostly unaffected by their own weakness."
"Yeah, I agree! Thanks a lot for all your help, Aquarina!" Agua nodded. "Without you none of this would be possible at all..."
"Hahah, you’re exaggerating, I think I could perfectly just leave, and you guys would be able to handle things just fine," Aquarina giggled. "You’ve grown plenty strong since we first met, all of you. I’m kind of proud. I guess this is how Sylphy felt when she helped us grow stronger and tutored some of our friends too, huh? It’s a nice feeling, seeing the young’un grow up all nice and cute~!"
"I appreciate what you said before but don’t treat me like a kid!" Justicio complained
"Hahah, I guess that’s how Aquarina see us?" Laughed Silvia. "Wait a moment, I shouldn’t be laughing!"
"I’m just joking around, don’t take it seriously," Aquarina said. "Anyway, Agua, how do you feel so far? Stronger?"
"Yes, quite so..." Agua nodded. "Defeating so many powerful foes has strengthened my Physique, and my Magic Circle is developing really quickly as well. My Spiritual Heart is also stronger too! It seems hunting strong monsters does indeed make you very strong... Well, I did also grow plentifully when we visited the Dungeon."
"Oh right the Dungeon!" Aquarina said. "We should go visit it once we’re done with the ants. And that’s also nice to hear, Agua. Do you guys feel stronger?"
"I feel stronger, yeah!" Silvia nodded. "Though I feel hungry now too! I want dinner!"
"Yes, I think at least my Physique Rank went up by one..." Said Justicio. "This progress is staggering to be honest. I have never really progressed this quickly before. Hunting monsters might be the ultimate way to grow stronger I guess."
"It sure is!" Aquarina nodded. "Anyway, now that we’re done with this, let’s return. Going after more of the nests would end up just exhausting all of you."
"Only us? What about you?" Justicio asked.
"Nah I’m fine, I could go for the whole night. I mean, if the requirements didn’t include Agua slaying half the ants, I would’ve done this on my own overnight," Aquarina giggled with a shrug and a cocky smile.
"Wow, so we’re just luggage at this point?" Silvia wondered, glaring at Aquarina while raising an eyebrow.
"I-I didn’t meant it like that, don’t get angry..." Aquarina sighed.
"She’s like that Silvia, she loves bragging whenever she can," Justicio shrugged. "But I wouldn’t really be her friend if that was the only thing she did."
"Also most of the time she brags its just to look cool in front of Sylphy," said Pyuku. "Now that she isn’t here, it doesn’t work the way she wants. I remember she always liked bragging and showing off in front of her."
"T-That’s not it! Geez, do you have to embarrass me like that?! I wasn’t bragging, I was just saying that I could solve the problem easily... Well, whatever, it doesn’t matter I guess, its better if we all hunt them down anyway, I’ll need your help for the inheritance. After all they said that no matter how strong I can be, I cannot do it alone anyway," said Aquarina, crossing her arms and acting embarrassed. "Anyway, shall we get going?"
After they helped her store everything in her shadows, the whole group got ready to depart, walking all the way back would be too much of a pain in the ass though, so they hitched a ride from Leviathan, who after being fed a few water spirit stones, happily brought everyone over to the village.
"Moooom! We’re back! Daaaad!"
Aquarina called her parents, leaping out of Leviathan and running inside of Agua’s house with her friends, as she opened the door, she found nobody, but sensed presences in the second floor, inside a room.
"Mom? Dad?"
She walked upstairs, opening the door and finding her two parents...
Naked...
"Hey mom we should have dinner alread- What the hell?!" Aquarina covered her eyes.
"A-Aquarina! Don’t enter without knocking the door!"
Her mother threw a pillow at Aquarina’s head at such a speed she almost knocked her out.
"Agh! S-Sorry!"
