If any, Becky felt like he was a bit conservative towards his assessment. She felt like he wasn’t giving his monsters the justice they deserved! And realising this added more to her shock!

"Now, let’s wrap things here," feeling really amused by her reaction, William started to store his monsters in different rings, "as they say, the strength of a weapon comes from the master holding it. Let’s hope my masters will showcase the true might of my monsters to the fullest! Let’s go!"

"..." She had tons of questions raging in her mind, and yet she didn’t say a single one of them out loud. She knew time wasn’t in their favour, and William was generous enough to let her witness the miracle he had just pulled here.

She knew even if she asked, she would end up getting nothing in return. So instead of wasting her chance, she decided to wait for William to be in a good mood another time and ask him later about everything she wanted.

Knowing that such a moment wasn’t that far away from them, she calmed herself down. She could tell after the end of this grand war, ending it with their big victory, William would be in a very great mood.

She planned to use that moment and ask whatever she had in mind. And she felt better odds for William to answer her question than asking right now.

As the two exited the underground base, William took two monsters out. "It’ll be far better to travel on them," unlike what she expected, William treated those scary war machines as if they were travelling pets!

Despite what she thought, she followed his instructions and boarded a monster. Then she experienced how gravely mistaken she was most severely!

The moment William controlled the two monsters, it felt like life kicked inside the two of them with endless vigour! Even after they got out of the underground base, Becky never retraced her spirit sense, never stopped watching everything happening around William.

So when he took the two monsters out, she stuck her spirit sense over them. The moment William gave them the order, she spotted the two dimly lit eyes that were made out of a bleak circular part, shining in a fierce and blinding light!

The monsters felt like they came straight from hell! And without any warning, the monsters started to run as if they were bolts of lightning!

She never saw that coming! And in return, she rolled over the huge back of that monster, hardly stopping herself from falling by clinging on the side of it!

"Easy there," seeing this made William stop the two racing monsters, "sorry, forgot to tell you to hang tight!" he weirdly looked at her, as if she had committed the naivest mistake just now!

"It’s my bad," she felt embarrassed while slowly returning to sit on the back of that monster, "let’s go, I’ll hold tighter this time!"

She didn’t have the guts to look him in the eye, even when he was staring at her. "Let’s go!" Seeing her stick to the back of the monster using both hands, he couldn’t help but smile, "Don’t fall off this time!"

She jumped over his remark, and this time she was prepared. The monsters moved fast, way faster than she could imagine before!

The distance between the underground base and Lara’s city usually took five to six hours to travel. And yet on the backs of these monsters, the two covered the distance in less than half an hour!

When they arrived at Lara’s city, Becky felt she was going to throw out her guts. She never experienced such a wild ride before, never travelled this fast at all!

"We are here," as the two appeared outside the city, they were welcomed with a swarm of masters. The city looked as if she was surrounded by an army of masters, and for a second there, William was prepared to fight, then ask questions later.

He couldn’t believe the enemies drove this deep inside their territory, ending up surrounding and attacking Lara’s city. And when he spread out his spirit sense, he instantly grasped what was going on!

"They... They are on our side!" Becky said this in a loud tone, expressing what William grasped in loud words. She was right, the army of masters around the city wasn’t here to attack, but to help and support the ongoing war!

William could see the gates of the city widely opened, the streets filled to the brim with these masters, all heading towards one direction: the portal zone!

The sudden appearance of these weird and huge monsters startled everyone around. Lots of shouts and warning signals erupted, while everyone mistook William and Becky as enemies!

"They are thinking we are enemies... What are you doing?!!"

Realising what was going on startled Becky. Yet when she turned to William, she saw the latter slowly standing on the back of the monster he was riding, raising a single fist in the air!

This sudden and unexpected move took everyone, Becky included, by surprise. Everyone saw a youth standing on the back of this huge behemoth that no one recognised, raising a single fist in the air.

"Look... He is the Fox Guild master!"

"He is William!"

"William is back!"

"Long live the legendary master!"

Silence erupted for long and heavy minutes before a strong cheer landed over the world. Soon enough, shouts came even from the masters situated deeper inside the city, the ones who didn’t even see him!

"You really know how to make a scene," Becky rolled her eyes, watching William show nothing on his face in return.

"You are finally back!!!" A few minutes later, lots of familiar faces appeared in front of the two. Lara, Lina, Sara, Berry, and lots more of the top masters in the Fox Guild came through the lots of masters around.

"You are all here, perfect," William noticed lots of things just from the look on their faces. They looked exhausted, disappointed, stressed, and overall shocked!
