REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 62: MADE OUT OF HUMAN

A week has passed since the training started, this was the last week of combat training, and the werewolves had improved in their combat.

They were in the middle of training when Travis and Audrey arrived. They watched their kids train so diligently and felt proud. They scanned the area and found their grandchildren sitting.

They walked over to where Isabelle and Sophia were sitting.

"Nana!" Sophia called when she spotted her grandmother and stood up and ran to her.

Isabelle saw Sophia standing up and ran with her to their grandparents. Sophia ran straight into Audrey’s arms, while Isabelle ran into Travis’ arms.

"My baby!" Audrey said kissing Sophia’s forehead, Sophia giggled and kissed Audrey back on the cheek.

"I hear someone finally got their mate." Travis teased when he picked Isabelle up.

"Grandpa!" Isabelle said shyly.

"Come and tell me all about it." He said and he walked back to where they were sitting and sat down with Isabelle on his lap.

He saw Casey and Casey stood up and greeted them.

"Good afternoon, sir!" She greeted respectfully.

"Hello child!" He greeted back.

"Good afternoon, mam!" She turned to Audrey.

"Hello child!" Audrey greeted, although they were weary, they also thought that Samantha and Ariana wouldn’t let an unknown person look after their children.

"Who are you if I may ask?" Audrey asked.

"My name is Casey!" Casey said introducing herself.

"Oh, you are Casey?" Travis asked with a smile.

"Yes, do you know me?" Casey asked, it was like the time when the other first arrived.

"Yes, Ariana always talks about you." Audrey replied.

"Oh!" Casey said nodding.

"Thank you for being there for all these years." Audrey said sitting next to her.

"No, I should thank you. I thought that I would never see my best friend alive. The day she left, we searched all over but met a dead end. I thought something happened to her when the last trace had been the place that was full of her blood." Casey replied, she almost lost her mind that day.

"That day, I never saw my son scared of anything." Audrey spoke.

"Your son? You are Adrian’s mother?" Casey asked in shock, she looked like she was Adrian’s sister instead of his mother.

"Yes, why?" Audrey asked.

"It’s just that you look so young." Casey replied looking at her.

"Yes, for that we have to thank our aging ability. Look at those two, they are mother and son as well." Audrey said pointing at Morgan and Aaron.

"Issy, that’s your mate, right?" Audrey said pointing at Aaron.

"Mm!" Isabelle replied nodding.

"How did it feel?" Travis asked turning his attention to Isabelle.

"How did it happen? You guys were in the house the whole time and nothing happened." Audrey askes, when they told her she was in shock.

After all, Aaron and Isabelle both lived in the same house, and no one knew a thing. So, she thought when she came to see how they were doing, she was going to ask how they found out they were mates.

"That is all on Aaron." Isabelle said with annoyance.

"Aaron? How come?" Travis asked.

"On the day he reached his maturity, he said he found out on that day." Isabelle said.

"Why didn’t he say anything?" Audrey asked.

"He said he was waiting for me to reach my maturity as well." Isabelle replied.

"Then how did you know?" Travis asked.

"Well, that day we all decided to go to the lake, everyone was in pairs, and I made a comment that they were making a third wheel. Then aunt Morgan said I should hold Aaron’s hand, he didn’t want to at first, but she forced him and when he held my hand, I felt the pull." Isabelle replied.

"Why keep it away from everyone else?" Travis asked puzzled.

"I think I know!" Audrey replied.

They sat there chatting and they would ask Casey occasionally, so she doesn’t feel left out.

"Are you pregnant?" Audrey asked.

"Yes, how did you know?" Casey asked touching her stomach.

"We can hear two heartbeats." Audrey replied and looked at the field.

"Yes, I am carrying Ariana’s brother’s baby." Casey spoke.

"Is it?" Audrey asked.

"At first when I found out we were mates, I wanted to reject him. I didn’t know how he would treat me, if he could treat his own sister like that." She spoke.

"When she left, he was the one that felt the most guilt. He wants to be her brother again." She added.

"Did she forgive him?" Travis asked.

"Not yet! She said he can be her brother again, only if he manages to win the other over." She replied.

"That week that she was transitioning, she was scared of everyone. Adrian was the only one she allowed near her; she stayed in the room and would only come out if he was there. We watched her break down in tears, all the past grievance she endured, she had to let it out. That was the last week that she could cry, so we told her to cry her heart out." Audrey said watching Ariana.

"I don’t think she told you about that?" Audrey asked and Casey shook her head no.

"It was hard, she had to learn everything. That is why we are protective of our family; we can only allow him if he proves that he won’t hurt her again." Audrey spoke.

The training came to an end, Ariana and rest looked and saw Audrey and Travis. The girls took off and started running, while the guys just walked.

"Mom!" Ariana shouted.

Her mother stood up when she heard her call, but when she looked Ariana was running in the opposite direction to a strange woman. She looked at the woman and found that she was very young, she didn’t look like she was a mother.

"You guys are here?" Ariana asked pulling Audrey into a hug.

"Yes, I wanted to check up one you." Audrey replied.

"She wanted to hear the news of the latest couple." Travis replied.

The latest couple was Aaron and Isabelle.

"We are all still in shock." Samamtha said with the rest.

"I guess we’re in laws now." Morgan teased.

"Did something happen?" Amelia asked.

"Yes, we discovered that a lot of humans have been going missing." Audrey said.

This was the business that brought them here. They wanted to ask if Amelia saw anything. The other was to see their kids.

"Come I’m sure they’ll like to hear about it as well." She said hinting with her head the werewolves.

"I’ll go tell them to freshen up and the meeting would start in an hour." He said and left.

"What have you guys been up to?" Audrey asked, she knew all her kids very well.

"Ariana took us to this lake, it’s so beautiful, too bad it belongs with the werewolves." Olivia sighed with disappointment

"Really is it that beautiful?" She asked.

"Yes mom, I’ll take you to see it." Ariana replied.

Travis and Audrey only had few hours left. They were to leave the next day and pack to Svalbard.

"Dad!" Adrian called his father and motioned for the other guys to come as well.

"What is it son?" Travis asked.

"You know Ariana’s former mate." Adrian asked.

"Yes, what about him?" Travis asked back.

Travis didn’t even know why they were asking him.

"He has started to harass her." Adrian replied.

"How do you suggest we teach him a lesson." Logan spoke.

"At this time, it’s either her birth mother or the former mate, and then you’ll get Ava the sister." Austin replied.

"Did Ariana say anything?" Travis asked.

"She has tried in warning, but it seems like listening is not their skill." Josh said sarcastically.

"I think we should leave it to her, this is her time to get here revenge on everything that thy did to her." Travis spoke.

They discussed things a bit further and called it off. The guys had planned on beating up Hunter, but Travis shut the idea down.

"As much as I want you guys to beat him up, at the same I don’t. This could affect the alliance after al." Travis spoke.

"But he really won’t stop." Adrian asked.

"Then I’ll just have to come in and say something." Travis replied.

"If anything, else, you can just strike him with lighting." Travis added.

They all went to freshen up and met in the meeting hall.

"Do you have any news?" One of the elders asked.

"Yes, it seems like the new army is being made out of humans." Travis announced.

"Made out human? What do you mean?" Another elder asked.

"Yes, they are being made out humans, there has been a lot of humans that have been reported missing." Audrey replied.

"We came here to tell you on behalf of the council, also that my son and his mate have to return to Svalbard tomorrow." She said looking at Amelia and Logan.
